According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.

Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.

For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.

I have been dating this guy name Rickey for almost 3 years. We started out seeing each other on Friday and Saturday nights sometimes during the week. He has 2 kids and a sick mother that he has to take care of and a job that he has long hours and for the past year we have only seen each other on Fridays when he did not have to work late. I just want to spend more time with him and see if what we have is true and if he really has feelings for me or just using me. His birth date is Jan. 1, 1962 my birthday is April 2, 1950 what do you see for us please help me should I hang in there or just be friends.

The comparison was not all that great. There was definitely some deception involved regarding his status, direction in life and future goals. I believe that if either one of you were really interested something would have happened by now. If you really wanted to spend more time with him over the past three years you would have been offering to help him with his children as well as with his mother. If you did offer and he denied you the right to pitch in and help I would take that as an indication that he doesn't really want you in his life. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle for love and romance beginning in the spring of next year and that you should prepare yourself by getting out of this situation and joining organizations that offer opportunities to meet new people who have similar interests. You can easily remain friends with him but you should probably consider cutting out the intimate aspect of your relationship. Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.
