According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.

Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.

For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.

Article: Office Politics

Dear Eugenia,

I was born in Boston, MA at 3:06am on March 6, 1975. My career is going no where. I keep running into dead ends. Every time I find a job I end up wanting to quit within 1-4 months. You can imagine what my resume looks like. I do try to commit, but always find the situation unbearable. Right now, I'm at 4 months and barely hanging on. I always want to quit because of office politics. I once heard someone say "don't be a part of office politics, but do be aware it." "mind your own business, and do your work." I have done both of these. And at every job I am constantly the "butt" of office gossip. I am aware that for me to be quiet and do my work will seem threatening to some. But why am I treated so meanly even if I am nice to everyone? I have had co-workers ruin my projects or take credit for my work. I have had plenty say negative untrue things about me and people actually believe them! Talking to managers doesn't work either. I've tried and have been put down by them or simply laughed at or ignored. I've even been fired for not being able to get along with a co-worker even though it was the co-worker who did all the "mean things". And at my current job, I am afraid this may happen again. I feel like I get the brunt of it more than anyone else. And I am sure I am not being paranoid or overly sensitive. I am professional and mature as possible and as I can be. So what's wrong with me? I am seeking therapy, however, what do you see in all this? Please tell me anything you can. Please help me. I am deeply worried, concerned, & afraid for my work/career situations. Your sensitivity regarding work and money is and has been a little out of control over the course of the past couple of years and although you are not quite over the hump as of yet relief is on the way. Your chart indicates that you should be working in a field that is a little unusual, that you need to be creative, nurturing and inventive. Your site is pretty interesting, so I often visit it. This is the first time I have written to you.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 10 yrs. We planned to get married this year but suddenly, he suggested we both study abroad for one year and get married afterward. Even though we are still lovers, I am worrying about our future. My boyfriend was born on July 18, 1974 at 6 am and I was born March 20, 1974, at 2 AM.

Our parents do not support our decision. We will be spending our own money that we have saved for years. Also, after we come back, our jobs are not guaranteed. I don't know whether it is necessary to go abroad for our future. Can you also tell me what kinds of jobs suit me and do I have luck financially? I'm sorry to ask you so many questions at one time... I don't believe either one of you will do well regarding successful studies abroad. Your chart indicates that you should be considering getting on with your career. You are in a high cycle in that regard and I would hate you to miss a good professional opportunity. As for your boyfriend the comparison was good however I believe that if he goes abroad he will regret his choice. I understand his urgency to get away as he does have a need to do something different. Perhaps the money would be better spent on a trip that would be educational. Traveling to a different part of the world and experiencing foreign cultures and traditions would be an education and something that you can share together. You wouldn't have to go away for too long and you could return to your jobs or to new positions that could very well be better then the ones you had before your trip.
