According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.

Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.

For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.

Hi, it is an honor to write to you. I receive hope from your site when I'm in need of help. The reason I am writing to you Eugenia is that this year, a lot of bad things have happened to me... My best friend committed suicide and I am having difficulty getting over the shock. This was only 3 months ago...My mind is so dizzy. I need to forget everything and face the reality but I don't know whether I'm too weak.

I love a guy. I have known him since I was young. We were friends in the beginning and became lovers later. There is a misunderstanding between him and me. As a result, he left me. I was born January 9th, 1968 at 10:00 P.M. It seems that too often when I read up on Capricorn, there is some type of foreboding or conflict pending, especially of late. Is there some sort of alignment somewhere creating this, and if so when will it change for the better. I have taken on a new business venture that is growing, but there seems to have been a great deal of obstacles slowing things down along the way. I was going insane emotionally and mentally, and so was my partner, who couldn't understand (as a witness), why there were so many delays with so much input on my part. My relationship suffered because of it. Do you know what's going on out there?

Well yes indeed there have been a couple of transiting planets (Saturn and Jupiter) playing havoc with your sign and to top it off other parts of your chart have also been afflicted by Uranus and Neptune as well. One of the most important transits that moved into your chart last fall and will remain with you until late this fall can cause you to expand too fast, take on too much etc so it is important that you don't move or grow too quickly. Transiting Saturn has been moving through the sign Cancer your polar opposite and this can cause limitations, frustrations, setback and obstacles which is exactly what you have been experiencing. This transit will be moving off your chart mid summer bringing you some relief. In the late fall when Jupiter moves into the sign Scorpio for approximately one year you will find that the tables will begin to turn in your favor in many different areas of your life from business to personal. Capricorns are very self-sufficient so they tend to move along even through the difficult times fixing things along the way. You didn't include your partners birth data however I'm sure he or she will be glad to hear that you do have better times heading your way. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships has been experiencing grief as well however this should begin to clear up the second half of this year and throughout next so you should be able to make amends.
