For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

What does being on the cusp mean? Sometimes I'm shown as a Gemini, sometimes Cancer. Although I think I lean more towards Gemini. I was born June 21, 1961 at 1 AM.

According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.
Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.
For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.

Hi...I am born on the 20th of December 1982 at 4:30p.m. My girlfriend is born on the 4th of March 1983. I guess that you must be thinking that being 17 years old is too young to talk about love, but it is my wish to get married soon after I graduate from University due to a loneliness I have within me. Thus I hope that I may be able to find the one I love as early as possible so as to be able to enter into a closer relationship with her. In Singapore, after graduating from college, it is compulsory for all males upon reaching the age of 18 to be enlisted for compulsory National Service (NS) before they enter the University. And soon it will time for me to be enlisted. I have heard of many of my friends' relationships being shattered once the male enters into NS due to the lack of time the couple are able to spend with each other. Thus I fear for the continuity of my relationship with my girlfriend. Furthermore, what makes it worse is the fact that I can't help but feel that my girlfriend and I are not really that close to each other. She prefers to go out and be around her friends rather than spend time with me and is also unwilling to share her feelings with me. Is there an explanation astrologically, why I feel that we aren't that close to each other?? And is there a chance that this relationship may survive through till I graduate from the University (which is around six years from now)??

The comparison was pretty good with your Pisces friend however it did appear to lack somewhat at a physical level. She is still young and wants to experience what life has to offer. Your chart indicates that you are moving through a period over the course of the next two to three years that is making you feel the urgency to settle down or at least prepare to do so. Although you truly feel this way right now you do have plenty of time before you need to concern yourself with this matter. For now you should enjoy the relationship you have but don't rule out that you might meet someone in the future who will match up even better to you astrologically. Dear Eugenia:I have been a good friend to a male, born -----------------. for a number of years. There are no romantic feelings between the two of us, but we do enjoy talking to each other. In the past two years he has been dating a young woman, born ----------------- Since they began dating, his behavior has become erratic. He lies, or tells people just what they want to hear, doesn't keep appointments, ignores his family and friends, and obsesses about being with her. Now they are engaged, and those of us who know them want to feel happy for them, but there isn't anyone in his circle of family or friends that is happy. She is very aloof, and tends to control him and everyone else around her. Can you give us some guidance? Their behavior, together and separate, is making life miserable on a lot of people and messing up events and gatherings to the point that no one wants them around any more. Although the two in question just have a so so comparison it is workable. The biggest problem appears to be when dealing with friends and relatives. I'm not saying that the marriage or relationship will last, but I am saying that there is nothing that you or anyone else can do about it. Your Libra friend has fallen in love and if you fight it he will not be your friend. He is in a high cycle where love and marriage is concerned therefore this has come into his life at the right moment for him. In her case, she is somewhat erratic and probably not quite as sure about her future with him as he is with his future with her. You are best to let him follow his course of action and support his decision. If you and his other friends feel so strongly that you are willing to lose the connection with him I suggest that you tell him your true feelings about this girl and let him decide what he will do. Maybe if you understand what it is that she does for him you will be able to accept her.
