For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

What does being on the cusp mean? Sometimes I'm shown as a Gemini, sometimes Cancer. Although I think I lean more towards Gemini. I was born June 21, 1961 at 1 AM.

According to your chart you are born under the sign Gemini if the time of birth is accurate set at 1 AM, however, if you were born at 10:31 AM or after on the 21st you are a Cancer by Sun Sign. Don't put too much onus on being one sign or the other. It is the entire package that makes you who you are and helps determine your direction. The time of birth is however very important as a chart changes every four minutes and for someone like me to be accurate I need specific data.
Your natal Mercury (the planet that deals with the way you think and communicate) is in the sign Cancer so that is why you are leaning toward that sign. Your chart also indicates that you have a very strong Leo and Virgo influence with a little Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Taurus thrown into the mix to make you the person you are.
For the record - if born before 10:31 AM you can call yourself a Gemini if after a Cancer.

How do I get a reading done from you?? I watch your show, but it seems like you are in Toronto. How does one get a reading if they live in Vancouver from you? I also want to know whether it is a good time for me to return back to school. I work in the Construction Industry and I am thinking of taking some industry related courses. I am also concerned about my love life, I haven't been in a relationship since 1996, at that point I let go of a six-year relationship and felt we were going different directions. I dated someone in 2002 for about 6 weeks and it suddenly ended. What is in store for me now? I am pretty sociable; I try not to go to the bars to meet men, where else would you suggest?? The gentleman from 2002, is there another possibility for us, all I know is he was born Feb 6, 1965.
Please give me some guidance, as I feel I am at a loss with my life situations right now. My birth data is August 12, 1966 @ 3:30 am.

You will find it easier to return to school or to take course later this year and next however in the mean time the area of your chart that deals with your profession is moving into a high cycle over the next couple of months so you may want to take a last stab at finding something that you really enjoy doing during this period. Regarding your relationships I believe that you will have some opportunities to meet someone through your new position. You did have a good comparison with t he gentleman in question however I feel that the timing was probably wrong. If you want to check him out again I suggest that you contact him in June/July. I'm asking you a favor. I don't know how I should start. I have someone whom I really love. I have been going out with him for more than a year. We live in different cities. Lovers come and go but family is with you forever. The comparison with your Cancer man wasn't bad however sorrow does appear when it comes to dealing with your family and the possibility that he can become physical aggressiveness with you is evident as well. It is important for you to be honest with your family and ask them to at least meet this man and not judge him by his voice. If your family still feels strongly that he is not the one for you consider that they might be picking up on the fact that he does have some traits that might not be too favorable. You may be blind to his defects because you are in love with him. Keep in mind that right now he is on his best behavior but at some point he will show his true colors and when he does his aggressive side may not be as nice.
