I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated. Although you are probably overreacting a little this year I do believe that you can but the past behind you. Job prospects continue to look good so if you are looking to advance or to change from one position to another or upgrade to help you move up the professional ladder now is the perfect time to do so. Focus on your work and you will tabularize your life even more. Regarding love you are in a high cycle right now girl so get out and do things you enjoy or answer personal adds in your local financial newspaper or consider joining a dating service and you will meet Mr. Right. Mr. Cancer on the other hand was not the right man for you. The comparison was bad and I believe that this connection was a hindrance to you not an opportunity. I really feel the need to move ahead and get on with my life, but the problem is that I think my life (this means job) is 4000 miles away, and it is taking place without me. I want to move, now. But people are all like, "Nuh-uh, you can't go. Bad things will happen, you might even die. You have to wait, etc." But what do they know? Nothing, right? Every day I wait, it seems like one day closer to being "too late," and I don't even know what it's too late for. Just too late. So please, if you could, just tell me that I'm smart and everyone else is dumb (and I won't die) and then I'll be on my way. I was born 6/22/78 at 7:15am. Also my job life will be in TV, if that helps.

Although you do have to follow your dreams your chart indicates that you are over-reacting and possibly trying to take on too much all at once. Hopefully you are already in a secure position in the TV industry in your own country and that you can make some contacts before you decide to make a leap of faith. Although your chart does suggest opportunities it also is moving into a difficult period where immigration, long distance business travel and trouble with authority figures are concerned over the course until June of next year so although I would not tell you to postpone this venture I would recommend that you make sure that you don't leave anything to chance. Make your plans strategically and have your finances in order. The first few years may be difficult but the hard work should pay off.

Over the past 4 years or so my life has been going in a downward spiral. I lost my father; my wife (through divorce) and I don't see my daughter. I lost my job as a software engineer. I know, like most, that you take the rough with the smooth in life. Now I'm at a stage where I feel completely lost and without direction. My finances have hit rock bottom. This is in stark contrast to about 12 years ago when life was almost great! Over recent years it seems that whatever I do just doesn't work. My question is will my life ever improve? Any help or guidance you can offer will be appreciated. I was born June 18, 1969 at 6 am.

Several planets have added to your down spiral the past eight years and although these transits in your chart aren't completely gone things do appear to be getting better. Part of the problem the past four years is that transiting Saturn has been passing through an area of your chart that can cause major depression and if your state of mind is bad because of this you will in turn attract negativity. This will lift off towards the end of the summer when you should start to feel some relief, but that doesn't mean that everything will turn around instantly. It will take work, effort and time on your part to make the difference. You appear to be lonely and this has also contributed to your depression. Trying to get involved with someone the past several years would have been difficult. With your natal Venus being adversely aspected by transiting Neptune sorrow within relationships was likely, not to mention the confusion you must have been experiencing.
