I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated. Although you are probably overreacting a little this year I do believe that you can but the past behind you. Job prospects continue to look good so if you are looking to advance or to change from one position to another or upgrade to help you move up the professional ladder now is the perfect time to do so. Regarding love you are in a high cycle right now girl so get out and do things you enjoy or answer personal adds in your local financial newspaper or consider joining a dating service and you will meet Mr. Right. I know it's the third time I'm writing this letter and I hope I really don't disturb you but I want to know if the relationship I have with a good friend of mine is going to last. His birthday is 6 December 1981, 15:30 pm and mine is October 9, 1980, at 11:50 am. We have been friends since we were 6 years old and lately, he showed me that he wants something more than friendship. I wasn't in love with him but I had very strong feelings for him and so we had a relationship for a year. I am sad because it didn't work since I couldn't open up to him; I felt he didn't let me. Now he holds grudges because I asked him to break up because I thought that that was better for him and for me. I want to make things work again because I think that if we both want it we can make it work although it seems difficult and we hurt each other sometimes. I really don't want to lose him and I'm ready to fight for our relationship. So do you think it will work? Is it worth trying for? Please tell me because it's really very important to me.

The comparison with your Sagittarius friend was really quite good. I believe however that you both need more time. You obviously hurt his feelings and he is definitely a very proud man. You must get your friendship back on track first and then let nature take it's coarse. You will both be in a better position to readdress your relationship in 2004/2005. Considering you've known each other since you were kids you should be able to talk things through and get your priorities straight regarding the way you feel about one another at that time. Physically and mentally you match up well but emotionally there are some problems. Your inability to open up especially regarding the way you feel about being intimate with him must be dealt with and the only way that will happen is if you communicate. I do believe however that the timing has not been right for this relationship as of yet and that if you wait for another year you will both be in a much better frame of mind to deal with the problems that you face.

I am going to university in the autumn, but am feeling very confused over whether or not the course I am studying will be right for me. I will be studying Law, but do not really want to continue with it as a career. I have no idea where I am going in my life, and would appreciate any advice you could give. I do see your dilemma and although law isn't a bad choice if you don't feel that it is what you want to do with your life you need to rethink your game plan. Your chart also indicates that you would do well in the communication or travel industries. You might enjoy teaching, traveling, working in the arts or some form of work that is a little unusual. If you decide to follow through with law I suggest that you consider entertainment law, litigation or working with law enforcement. You do have favorable transits moving through your chart regarding educational pursuits and you should keep in mind that anything you study or learn will never be a waste. The question is can you afford to study law and continue to educate yourself in other fields as well. Your chart also indicates that you could work within the field of medicine or nutrition however I believe that your concern may be where you will eventually end up making the most money. If this is the case I want you to also keep in mind that if you don't enjoy what you are doing for a living that the money may not be worth the aggravation.
