I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated. You have been through a rough time for someone who has as much Libra in her chart as you do. Although you are probably overreacting a little this year I do believe that you can but the past behind you. Job prospects continue to look good so if you are looking to advance or to change from one position to another or upgrade to help you move up the professional ladder now is the perfect time to do so. Focus on your work and you will tabularize your life even more. Regarding love you are in a high cycle right now girl so get out and do things you enjoy or answer personal adds in your local financial newspaper or consider joining a dating service and you will meet Mr. Right. Mr. Cancer on the other hand was not the right man for you. The comparison was bad and I believe that this connection was a hindrance to you not an opportunity. Dear Eugenia-
I am a (almost) 16 year old girl sag born December 14, 1984, at 12:23 AM. Both my moon and my ascendant are in Virgo, I have heard that Virgo's are pretty down to earth and grounded individuals. I am NOT either of those. On the contrary, I spend most of my time day dreaming and thinking about the future instead of the present. I am more interested in thinking up future projects than doing present ones.
I am also constantly in a dream world. I like to spend my time in my head, thinking about places that don't exist. This type of thinking has put more pressure on me to do well in school and I am falling behind. Could you tell me what part of my natal chart and any transits that are causing this behavior, and how to combat it. It's really getting in the way of my studies and I would like to try and stay in the real world.

Your ascendant is very late Virgo therefore you have a far stronger Libra influence in your first house. As for your Virgo Moon it is hidden in your 12th house making it less obvious. The fact that you do have your Moon in Virgo however coupled with your Sun, Mercury and Uranus in another mutable sign (Sagittarius) is contributing to your daydreaming right now because transiting Jupiter is moving through Gemini. Now this doesn't have to be a bad thing. It does mean that you want to learn and discover and expand your horizons however if what they are trying to teach you doesn't interest you it can cause you to wonder off mentally to things that capture your imagination. This transit and your planets in Sagittarius run across the 3rd and 9th houses in your chart which represent lower and higher education therefore the problem is affecting your schoolwork. This transit will pass but not until May/June of next year so buckle down and force yourself to work a little harder. If need be get extra help, talk to your teachers, or do whatever you can to get through this hard to focus period. You are also moving through a period that is favorable for socializing but don't be lead astray by friends. With transiting Neptune sitting on your Venus in your 5th house you could easily end up in a sorrowful situation. The best outlet for you during this period is one that is creative.

This is my third letter to you in the last few months; I would be so grateful if you could respond, either via email or on the site. I was born on 4/14/71 at 4:41 PM. In the summer of 1997, I broke up with my long-term boyfriend (of approximately 7 years). I have been alone ever since, but for a few guys passing through. I am really feeling ready for a relationship, but it seems like the universe is against me. I rarely meet anyone, and when I do, it ends quickly. I am still connected to my ex (born 2/25/69, at 9:41 AM) although he is married now. Happily, I do not know, because he still contacts me and admits that he dreams of me. He took me out for dinner a few months ago, and didn't tell his wife. I, of course, would never do anything to harm his union, although I still love him. Does it seem like anything is on the way for me romantically? Should I sever my ties with my ex completely?

Do yourself, your ex and his wife a favor. Opt out on this one. Your comparison with your ex wasn't all that great. The fact that you went out to dinner with him is already hurting his marriage. Just think how his wife will feel if she finds out. You should tell your ex to get his life together and not to call you anymore. Chances are good that if he did come back into your life you would probably break up again. As for you, regarding relationships you appear to be a little self-deceptive about what you really want. You actually match up to those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra and Aquarius. Better opportunities for love and romance will be yours next year and you are likely to meet someone through a work related event. Your ex's chart indicates that he is looking for an affair. For you to get involved in a love triangle would only result in you missing the chance to meet someone special as well as feeling terribly guilty. Remind yourself why this relationship ended. Don't be his escape because he isn't happy. Move on and refuse to engage in his deceptive plans. It takes two to tango, I urge you not to be his partner.
