For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated. Although you are probably overreacting a little this year I do believe that you can but the past behind you. Regarding love you are in a high cycle right now girl so get out and do things you enjoy or answer personal adds in your local financial newspaper or consider joining a dating service and you will meet Mr. Right. I'm a 21-year old gay male living in New Mexico. I have been addicted to substances (alcohol, etc.) since I was a teenager. I can't shake them and can't seem to imagine a life without them. They are getting in the way of possible love interests because if I had a partner, they would need to be patient with the substances. As it is, I cling to phone sex and pornography to continue the escapism. I'm not complaining about my life. I've learned to live with it. But is there something in my chart that would explain my problem? That's all I need to know right now. If you could be so kind as to maybe help me explore this, I would be eternally grateful. You were born with your natal Neptune opposite your natal Venus across your sixth and twelfth. This is considered to be sorrowful, addictive, escapist and so forth. I believe that you are coming to a turning point in your life over the course of the next couple of years while transiting Saturn moves through the sign Gemini. This will cause some depression, some physical limitations and could even lead you to a rehab center or institutional type environment. I believe that you can turn things around if you want but I fear that you will have to hit rock bottom before that happens. Your chart indicates that you must be careful not to get involved with someone who is equally as addictive or someone who is already involved with another. What you should be focusing on the rest of this year and the first half of next is what you want to do with the rest of your life regarding your career. I like the Aries Scorpio connection because both signs are ruled by the planet Mars. They tend to really compliment one another in most cases and unlike most signs Scorpio can usually keep up to the fast paced Aries. In your case however your partner is not that strong an Aries and although he thinks like one that's about as far as it goes. This relationship appears to be of a karmic nature and although I'm not quite sure what you have to resolve I do believe that it has something to do with money, health and one of you having to take care of the other. With his natal Venus squaring your natal Neptune in your ninth and his third house I believe there will be some sorrow that will develop that probably has to do with friends and relatives and communication. It will be important if you want this relationship to run smoothly and go the distance that you act as one. In other words there can be no other person who takes precedence over the two of you. You must totally stick up for one another regardless and treat the rest of the people in your lives as outsiders. If you can do that I believe that it can work at least for a relatively long period of time. His rising sign falls in your eighth house and yours in his fifth. This could create a problem where children/pregnancy is concerned. Make sure that you both have the same idea of where you see yourself in ten or twenty years before you decide to take the big matrimonial step into the future.
