My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated. I would like to thank you for taking to time to read this. I'm a 21-year-old male born February 16, 1982, at 1 AM and life just is not getting better for me. I have been on my own since I was 16 and alone ever since then. I busted my ass in high school and finished with a 3.5 GPA on my own while working a full time job. I have been out of school for 2 years now and I haven't had a job since Oct. I wake up ever day and look for a job and nothing yet. I'm also in a band and it's going ok but very slow. I would like to know if any thing good is going to happen for me. Will I find a good job, will my band take off, and will I find some one to spend my life with, please tell me any thing you can. Things have been tough but you've worked hard and it will pay off. Regarding your band you should be walking the pavement, making calls, sending out demo's etc between now and June. There is a transit going through your chart that should bring you help as well as favors. Partnerships also look good and that can be regarding both business and personal between now and then. The job prospects start to get much better over the summer months and will continue to do so until late next year. Now that doesn't mean that you can't find something before that time but that you should advance over the course of the next eighteen months. Your chart still shows educational pursuits with the intent of raising your earning potential so don't rule out taking a course that interests you. You have an entrepreneurial chart and that means that you can do your own thing and run your own business. If something interests you that you can offer others do so now. Dear Eugenia,
I am at a very strange point in my life, which feels very chaotic--sometimes as though it is moving in a positive direction, and sometimes as though it is very stagnant.
I am entering my third year of university, studying art, art history, and German. I'm at a point at which I really need to figure out what it is I want to do long-term. I feel pressure from my family to make this decision (mainly on my mother's side, though my mother and I are almost entirely out-of-touch, as she is with her sister and parents). I also feel internal pressure, as though I may feel more confident and clear-headed if I can make a commitment and develop some sort of plan to pursue my education and career beyond this point. Basically, I am feeling directionless, confused, and as though I have no solid ground to fall back on. I worry a lot about my mother, but cannot stay in contact with her, as she is experiencing a time of sever financial difficulties and, as a result, has no phone line, disallowing contact by phone or email. (She was born August 11, 1950.) All I can say about my desires for the future is that I want to be involved in art --the only thing that is truly fulfilling for me. I would love to be a professional artist, but that is risky and I do not want to put myself into a situation of financial despair. I have seen both of my parents struggle throughout my entire life thus far.
In addition to these feelings, I am having a difficult time romantically. I have been seeing a man (born February 6th, 1977) for about 6 months. Though we connect very well intellectually, we are both very busy. I have a hectic work, school and homework schedule, while he is very social and constantly has plans to go out with friends, which he views as obligations. He therefore has little time to spend with me during the time I actually have free and is frustrated that I never want to go out and party with him and his friends. I think that, due to our different lifestyles, we may not be able to reconcile this, though I care for him very much and when we are together, he seems to feel the same way. My luck with men isn't too good and upon our initially getting together, I was excited to finally meet someone I could connect with, who was intelligent, observant, and who seemed to share so many interests.
Do you see any end to the constant stress, chaos and frustration resulting from my present life and relationships, as well as my attempting to sort out my future endeavors?

You are a strong Libra. All your natal planets in that sign are in an area of your chart that deals with higher education, travel, philosophy, immigration and different cultures. That being said it isn't surprising that you are waffling about your future and your educational pursuits. I believe however that you must get on with it and finish whatever you have already begun. Your chart indicates that you should be in school or at least in a learning environment for the next two years although I do believe that you will be able to pick up work in the field of your choice beginning next year. This could lead to an apprenticeship, learning on the job or working and continuing your education.
