Dear Eugenia,

I'm a Pisces born on an Arian cusp on March 19, 1987 at 10:30pm. I'm facing several issues but they all tie in with one main thing, that being my life as a whole. I'm only eighteen years old but I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. I exude no confidence, I lack friends because I'm incapable of trusting people to the fullest extent, I can't keep a job because none of them interest me whatsoever, I can't even manage to repeat my final year in school because I find it difficult to even get up in the morning. I don't know what's going on anymore, I never used to be like this, I had so many friends in the past, and even enjoyed high school at one point but I fail to find happiness in anything I do that doesn't require me being at home, alone, doing solitary things. My past lover and I broke up around five months ago, I thought my feelings for him were going away but lately my feelings for him have come back somewhat. He's a Capricorn born on January 14, 1988, I'm unsure of his birth time. As far as I can tell his interests are directed upon another female, who lives in a different state. Unfortunately I'm unsure of her birth date. A few nights ago I dreamt he died, and it scared me beyond belief. I woke up crying and even went as far as checking the obituaries in the morning. I still have some feeling that there may be a chance for us but I'm unsure. My dreams have been scaring me in general as well. I dream bizarre, disturbing things that make no sense and consequently awake me in the middle of the night feeling uneasy. I don't know if I'm dreaming these things because of my current outlook and feelings in life or not, but either way I just don't know what to expect or look forward to from life anymore. I crave to be happy, to be happy with someone, namely my ex, but I don't know what would happen in that situation. Is there any explanation for this ongoing distress or is it all just in my head?

You have been and are still going through some emotional deception that appears to be playing with your subconscious mind. This is due to transiting Neptune however it is all in the way you handle this transit as to how it manifests itself. In your case you are letting it take over result being bad dreams, lack of confidence, looking back instead of forward and so forth. It also has played havoc where educational pursuits are concerned making you confused as to what you want to do with your life in the future. You don't have a bad chart but you are letting a difficult transit take over and this has to stop. This transit can also be highly creative if put to proper use. Your chart indicates that you should be focusing on your future and that you should be socializing not hiding at home. Your Capricorn ex didn't match up to your chart very well and I have my doubts as to whether that relationship was really any good for you. It could be the reason you have lost your confidence and are feeling so depressed and reclusive. You are in a high cycle until the fall of this year regarding love and romance however this very same transit can also bring a past partner back into your life. I strongly suggest that you look for someone new instead of wasting your time trying to reunite with your Goat. You should be trying to finish your high school if possible between now and the fall by taking night courses or whatever it takes to get the credits you need. I want to get married now, but I cannot afford the expenses because I am deep in debt at the moment. I don't know when will I clear the debts so I dare not to get married. Your chart indicates that although you do have some financial problems you should be able to clear your debt between now and March of next year if you are determined to do without everything but the bare necessities. You should be looking for a better job between now and the middle of February. Do not quit your current job until you have been hired to take on a better position. You would do well as a computer analyst, teacher, accountant, or medical researcher. You may need to pick up additional education in order to follow such careers however if this is the case you should do so through correspondence or night school. Regarding love you will be in a high cycle from November until March. It is important not to miss opportunities just because you don't think that you can afford the expense of a relationship. If you fall in love with someone the money shouldn't matter. If you have enough faith in your partner and in your relationship you will work together in order to build a brighter future. If you continue to hold off getting into a relationship or marriage until you feel that you have enough cash you may be alone the rest of your life. It is quite common for those born under your sign to feel that you must be well off before you step into matrimony and this is why so many Virgo's marry later in life. I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing but if someone comes into your life that you really love you may have to opt to forego your need to have riches first.

Article: Nothing Going Right

Dear Ms. Last,

This is not the first time I have written you, but I do understand that you have received an incredible amount of mail. I would like some astrological advice on your part. First, I was born March 21, 1972 at 12.50 am. In 1997, I decided to return to college and do my Masters Degree. I am currently writing the thesis and it feels never ending. I suffered from a depression last year with suicidal tendencies, although I did not go through with my actions. I have gotten help, but I've the feeling the cycle is not over. Recently, my car was crashed into and declared a total loss by the insurance company. I cannot afford a new one, as my debt is already quite large. I lost my reading glasses yesterday and don't know how I will afford a new pair. I do work, however the stress of my job has compounded as I have become my boss's "go to" person, even though I am only a part time office clerk and he has at least 5 full time girls on staff. I have started crying a lot again, and tend to be depressed and oh so overwhelmed. I feel I will never finish my thesis that is due in the fall, after 2 extensions. I try to remember the reasons I decided to return to school, but at present, I do not see the positive aspect.

In addition (like it had to get worse) I have been single a long time, and I am falling in love with my boss. We don't mention it, but we spend a lot of time together, and he's married. I know he is confused in his marriage. He was born December 8, 1959. Hence, my question is, will things get easier for me? I read my astrology regularly on your site, but I still feel I need to know that I have made the right decision, because at present, nothing seems right.

You have just been hit by your Saturn return. This is not only depressing but it makes you reevaluate everything that you have done up until this point of your life. Don't worry; some people have it sit with them for a long period of time. In your case it will only be there for another couple of weeks. Now that doesn't mean that it will be smooth sailing for you. Life doesn't work that way, but you should be able to start focusing on the more positive aspects of your life. The work and money area of your chart is in a high cycle and that means that you could probably find a new job that would be less stressful.
