Dear Eugenia,

I'm a Pisces born on an Arian cusp on March 19, 1987 at 10:30pm. I'm facing several issues but they all tie in with one main thing, that being my life as a whole. I'm only eighteen years old but I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. I exude no confidence, I lack friends because I'm incapable of trusting people to the fullest extent, I can't keep a job because none of them interest me whatsoever, I can't even manage to repeat my final year in school because I find it difficult to even get up in the morning. I don't know what's going on anymore, I never used to be like this, I had so many friends in the past, and even enjoyed high school at one point but I fail to find happiness in anything I do that doesn't require me being at home, alone, doing solitary things. My past lover and I broke up around five months ago, I thought my feelings for him were going away but lately my feelings for him have come back somewhat. He's a Capricorn born on January 14, 1988, I'm unsure of his birth time. As far as I can tell his interests are directed upon another female, who lives in a different state. Unfortunately I'm unsure of her birth date. A few nights ago I dreamt he died, and it scared me beyond belief. I woke up crying and even went as far as checking the obituaries in the morning. I still have some feeling that there may be a chance for us but I'm unsure. My dreams have been scaring me in general as well. I dream bizarre, disturbing things that make no sense and consequently awake me in the middle of the night feeling uneasy. I don't know if I'm dreaming these things because of my current outlook and feelings in life or not, but either way I just don't know what to expect or look forward to from life anymore. I crave to be happy, to be happy with someone, namely my ex, but I don't know what would happen in that situation. Is there any explanation for this ongoing distress or is it all just in my head?

Dear Pained Pisces

You have been and are still going through some emotional deception that appears to be playing with your subconscious mind. This is due to transiting Neptune however it is all in the way you handle this transit as to how it manifests itself. In your case you are letting it take over result being bad dreams, lack of confidence, looking back instead of forward and so forth. It also has played havoc where educational pursuits are concerned making you confused as to what you want to do with your life in the future. You don't have a bad chart but you are letting a difficult transit take over and this has to stop. This transit can also be highly creative if put to proper use. Your chart indicates that you should be focusing on your future and that you should be socializing not hiding at home. Your Capricorn ex didn't match up to your chart very well and I have my doubts as to whether that relationship was really any good for you. It could be the reason you have lost your confidence and are feeling so depressed and reclusive. You are in a high cycle until the fall of this year regarding love and romance however this very same transit can also bring a past partner back into your life. I strongly suggest that you look for someone new instead of wasting your time trying to reunite with your Goat. You should be trying to finish your high school if possible between now and the fall by taking night courses or whatever it takes to get the credits you need. College or an apprenticeship should be your goal for the fall if possible or early next year. Your chart is favorable regarding getting out and meeting people and potential lovers. I often visit your site and get advice...However, I have one question, hoping that you would help me to clarify. It's about my sign. I was born on Nov 22, 1982, at 10:11 pm. However, I'm not sure my horoscope sign is Scorpio or Sagittarius. In different magazines, some classify as Scorpio, some as Sagittarius. Thus, I'm checking both of them. Of course, in AstroEast, it comes out as Sagittarius. Can you tell me which one and why? Then, I can tell people when they ask me what my sign is. Your sign is most definitely Sagittarius. Not only do you have your natal Sun placed in that sign you also have your natal Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Neptune in Sagittarius. Regarding your Scorpio influence you only have your natal Jupiter in that sign therefore you can safely say that you are a full fledge Sagittarius when someone asks. In order to figure out what sign a person is there birth time must be accurate. When born around the time that the Sun moves from one constellation to another only the time of day can determine whether that person will be born under one sign or the other, in your case there is no contest, it is definitely Sagittarius. The reason that it can be very confusing is that from year to year the Sun may move into the next constellation a day ahead or a day behind the set dates that are used in the daily horoscopes. When I started writing daily columns I would use the actual date in the paper that the Sun changed signs but many readers complained because as far as they were concerned the set dates were the only ones to consider. Unfortunately most people born on the cusp will never know for sure unless like yourself you have your chart calculated out to the exact time. Multiple conjunctions. A collection of five planets or more in a close proximity to one another.) you have four planets conjunct in Sagittarius, the fifth is not.

Hi Eugenia

My life has totally turned upside down the last 4-5 years; I hope that I am finally on the right course. I just landed a new job (was unemployed) for a while. A man that I thought cared about me totally up and left me (6/29/50) and I have kicked an alcohol addiction. I found out that nobody except one person was there for me. Am I on the right course now? I don't think I could handle any more setbacks; they have been too much for me? Why did Mr. Cancer leave? How does career/job prospects look for the future? Your advice would be most appreciated.
