I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I'm a Pisces born on an Arian cusp on March 19, 1987 at 10:30pm. I'm facing several issues but they all tie in with one main thing, that being my life as a whole. I'm only eighteen years old but I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. I exude no confidence, I lack friends because I'm incapable of trusting people to the fullest extent, I can't keep a job because none of them interest me whatsoever, I can't even manage to repeat my final year in school because I find it difficult to even get up in the morning. I don't know what's going on anymore, I never used to be like this, I had so many friends in the past, and even enjoyed high school at one point but I fail to find happiness in anything I do that doesn't require me being at home, alone, doing solitary things. My past lover and I broke up around five months ago, I thought my feelings for him were going away but lately my feelings for him have come back somewhat. He's a Capricorn born on January 14, 1988, I'm unsure of his birth time. As far as I can tell his interests are directed upon another female, who lives in a different state. Unfortunately I'm unsure of her birth date. A few nights ago I dreamt he died, and it scared me beyond belief. I woke up crying and even went as far as checking the obituaries in the morning. I still have some feeling that there may be a chance for us but I'm unsure. My dreams have been scaring me in general as well. I dream bizarre, disturbing things that make no sense and consequently awake me in the middle of the night feeling uneasy. I don't know if I'm dreaming these things because of my current outlook and feelings in life or not, but either way I just don't know what to expect or look forward to from life anymore. I crave to be happy, to be happy with someone, namely my ex, but I don't know what would happen in that situation. Is there any explanation for this ongoing distress or is it all just in my head?

You have been and are still going through some emotional deception that appears to be playing with your subconscious mind. This is due to transiting Neptune however it is all in the way you handle this transit as to how it manifests itself. In your case you are letting it take over result being bad dreams, lack of confidence, looking back instead of forward and so forth. It also has played havoc where educational pursuits are concerned making you confused as to what you want to do with your life in the future. You don't have a bad chart but you are letting a difficult transit take over and this has to stop. This transit can also be highly creative if put to proper use. Your chart indicates that you should be focusing on your future and that you should be socializing not hiding at home. Your Capricorn ex didn't match up to your chart very well and I have my doubts as to whether that relationship was really any good for you. It could be the reason you have lost your confidence and are feeling so depressed and reclusive. You are in a high cycle until the fall of this year regarding love and romance however this very same transit can also bring a past partner back into your life. I strongly suggest that you look for someone new instead of wasting your time trying to reunite with your Goat. You should be trying to finish your high school if possible between now and the fall by taking night courses or whatever it takes to get the credits you need. College or an apprenticeship should be your goal for the fall if possible or early next year. Your chart is favorable regarding getting out and meeting people and potential lovers. My birth date is July 1, 1949 1:00 am, my husband is May 18, 1946.
I am going through a very emotional time in my life. My mother (to whom I was very close died in April) which caused a major family fallout which resulted in a lot of our family not talking to each other and breaking ties completely. Prior to and during this time I feel that my marriage has come to an end. We have been married for 33 years and have been drifting apart for some time. We have very little communication what so ever, and any that we have is mostly anger and aggression. I also feel that there has been someone else in my husband's life. I am confused as to why he doesn't just walk away from the marriage and yet if I had to confront him I have learned from past experiences that he would just lie anyway so I don't see the point, as he is very abusive verbally. My biggest problem in leaving the marriage is financial security, as I do not have the confidence that I could survive on my own. (My childhood was very poor and insecure and I am sure this has a lot to do with my current insecurities especially financial) I have gained a lot of weight with the stress of everything going on in my life which does not help my self esteem and my work is suffering as I cannot concentrate on things at work. I cannot see a future for myself on my own yet my health is suffering daily from staying in this relationship as I cannot understand why I have stayed in this emotional abusive situation for so long. Do you see a brighter future for me and some self-improvements that could help me have the confidence to walk away. And is there a possible suitable companion that could give me the loving caring relationship that I dream of is possible in this life. Can you please advise?

Life is like a lit match. It burns rapidly and then it's gone. For all the time that people waste in situations that are unbearable I have little sympathy. You are the master of your own will and destiny and its time for you to get a grip and move on. You will be in a better position next year to start that diet, join a fitness group, start swimming and so forth. For now you have to take care of business and that means call up your real estate agent if you own your home and force the issue to put it on the market. Split your assets down the middle and start to make plans for the future. Life is simple; it's people who make it complex. You've been clinging to something that is doing nothing but bringing you down. Where you should have been excelling professionally this year you've been vacillating about your personal life. You will have a positive cycle professionally between October and February and you should do whatever you can to focus on your job, career and advancement. If you work hard you will do just fine. During the last half of next year and the first half of 2002 you will be in a high cycle romantically. If you are still with your husband you will miss that opportunity. Your game plan should be focus on work and selling assets in order to split what you have together. Next get into shape during the spring and summer of next year followed by new friends and lovers. I read your column religiously. I really need some advice. My ex-husband born 2-25-54 at 2:50 am and myself born April 8, 1963 at 4:20 am were married for 13 years and then in 1998 he met someone online and left me. He hasn't seen our children or really spoken to me since. Recently, I have been severely disabled. A severe flare up of MS that has left me bedridden. I requested an increase in child support, which my ex fought stating that he pays the mortgage payment. Within 1 month of his dispute of the child support I was contacted by the IRS telling me that I owed them over 10k because I never claimed the fact that he paid the mortgage as my income. H&R block did my taxes and they are going to pay the penalty because they realize that this has been their error not mine. However Eugenia, my tax consultant told me that my ex must have brought the issue up for the IRS too audit the years requested. Eugenia, my health is such that I'm not going to be able to care for our boys much longer. I can't believe that my ex is being so vengeful I have not done a thing to him not even tried to contact him. Please Eugenia, can you tell me if there is any hope that my ex will treat our sons decently........or maybe if you see any break for me financially or health wise. You didn't mention when your children were born so I can't tell you what the relationship between them and your husband will be in the future. I believe that your husband has always been in denial regarding the boys but if push comes to shove and you were no longer able to care for them he would step in. However he would also stop support for you at the same time. Your husband is a little full of him self and conceited when it comes to who he is and what his potential is. I believe that he is probably not in as good a financial situation as you might imagine. Although he can make money he can also let it slip through his fingers. He can be charming but he can also show his temper and he is one to exaggerate and blow things out of context. If I were you I would probably try to make a deal with him that when you can no longer care for the boys that he pay to bring help in to take care of the boys as well as you or that he must take the boys on himself as his responsibility. The ideal situation would be for you to have a family member or friend take on that position however that may not be possible. Your chart indicates that you will continue to experience more limitations due to your illness over the course of the next year but also that you may be given the wrong medication and this is what leads to the additional problems. Please keep on top of what the doctors offer you. Try to do your research for side effects etc. Financially you do appear to be in a better position over the course of the next several years. This could be due to subsidies that are provided by government or some other health care organization. It can also be that you come into money through a tax rebate, insurance surrender, winnings or a gift from someone who cares. Please don't lose hope; your boys need your input even if you can't do as much for them. You must not give up but instead try to provide an alternative to get the help you need. Your ex should pay for this assistance or do more to take care of the boys himself. Something tells me he will opt to let you take care of them even if it does cost him a little more to get you the help you need.
