For the past few months my horoscope keeps telling me "this is the best time for romance", "You are going to find you soul mate" "This is your year".

Lets address your past relationship first. You did match up in a number of ways but emotionally it was taxing to say the least. I believe that this was a karmic connection and that is why it is so hard to let it go. That being said it is probably time to stop reliving something that is already dealt with and finished. You are going through a period in your chart that is making you think about people from your past but that doesn't mean that you should be trying to back track. Although it is a good year for most Gemini's regarding love with transiting Jupiter moving through Libra I have to say that for you it is good for traveling, socializing, doing things that are creative, making new friends from different backgrounds and so forth but when it comes to love with your natal Venus in the sign Cancer you are a little ahead of yourself. At the end of this year transiting Jupiter will be moving into the passionate and compatible sign Scorpio making next year your year for finding true love so don't give up hope. I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend. We were supposed to get married but he kept putting it off. I found myself changing and decided not to wait anymore. I do not see you as being alone. Hey girl it's time to move on - what are you waiting for. The comparison was anything but good and although I could see your reason for being with him initially once the spark was gone so was the relationship.
