For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Well yes indeed you have been going through a two and a half year downer due to transiting Saturn that is coming to an end mid summer. The past several months with Jupiter squaring your Sun sign as well it hasn't helped you out. Although things will be getting better as the year progresses it will still take a while to turn things around.
Your social and romantic life will pick up but I believe it will be closer to the fall of next year before you really settle into a good relationship. You match up to those born under the signs Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn.
Money should start coming to you a little easier throughout the summer months however it is apparent that it will be through an investment, winnings, rebate, settlement, insurance surrender or inheritance.
Regarding work, doors will begin to open during the second half of the year but I feel there is a learning curve that must take place in order for you to get a better position. Don't rule out taking a course that will help you jump into a different field or a better position in the one you are already in. Educational pursuits are strong right now and I believe that if you get into something immediately it won't be long before you will be in a much better situation professionally. Consider an apprenticeship as well.

I NEED ADVICE! I haven't done well in the past two years of college. I now have an opportunity to go to England! I am a musician and think I might find more opportunities there. So, quit college and go to England (staying with a friend, place to practice) or stay where I am? Also, this means leaving my girlfriend. She's afraid that a long distance relationship won't work. I say we can visit on vacations and she can come over after her graduation next spring. Could this relationship last? My birth date is May 17, 1981 - late morning/early afternoon. I can understand your need to follow your dream and I believe it is important to do so while you have the chance. You are in a much higher cycle where both travel and educational pursuits are concerned over the course of the next year however I believe that the people you will meet while living in England will be an education in itself. Regarding your girlfriend I believe that there will be some emotional deception that will unfold between the two of you due to the distance. She can be a flirt however you can be as well. Neither one of you can resist the chance to interact with someone who stimulates you mentally. I believe that you should give one another space while you are away. If you are meant to be together the sparks will fly when you see one another again. If you are going to be serious about your commitment to music and this big move you must do it one hundred percent. Let go of your past and leap into the future. Please be sure to have all your papers in order. Problems with authority figures or governmental issues could hold you back. You are in a high cycle regarding creativity therefore you must explore your musical talent, direction and future putting all efforts into making connections that will give your career the jump start that it requires.

I have dated. I have been engaged a few times but never married (I think I always took marriage too seriously -- and never could promise to do all that marriage entails). I had a loving relationship with a man who had a terminal illness, who died in '95. I have always kept the door open in my heart that I might find a life-long partner, but now I wonder: should I shut the door on this option? I'm not afraid of being alone. You should never close the door on love, romance, marriage, partnership etc. One of the reasons why you have gone the route but never crossed the line when it came to marriage is due to having your natal Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with relationships opposite your Sun in an area of your chart that deals with your personal outlook. This has probably caused you or your partners throughout life to back away or have a change of heart at the last minute. With transiting Saturn moving into that area of your chart there has never been a better time to find love and get serious then now. Also with your Moon in the sign Virgo it isn't unusual for you to find love or get into a serious relationship during the second half of life. In your case you are moving into a high cycle regarding love right now and you should be out meeting new people. This particular transit can also bring someone from your past back into your life so perhaps if there is someone you still think about you should readdress this relationship. In the past the timing was probably wrong with this person. This is a great year for you creatively, educationally and where growth is concerned. You should be expanding your circle of friends, getting involved in discussions or courses that will alter your philosophy, attitude, lifestyle and outlook.
