Article: From Aquarius

Hello Eugenia!

I'm a female Aquarian with a Sagittarius moon and Pisces ascendant. I'm wondering what to do with my life. I quit work last December because, while I was good at what I was doing, I wasn't happy. I'm wondering if I should push myself in a more creative direction, but money is tight. I'm actually terrified of what I think I want - my family and friends would not like it, also, I've grown accustomed to using hope as an excuse to look forward to the future: Maybe one day I'll be doing something I like and getting rewarded for it.

I think life would be much easier if we were born with little instruction books which told us our life expectancy, where to find our partners, how many children we might have - if any, what job we were designed for and a step-by-step breakdown of our destiny; maybe wanting instructions is laziness, but I'm exhausted from living. I probably think too much. I went for a reading recently and I was told that I need to take a break... but I am taking a break and it's not helping me figure anything out.

Any clues to what's eating me or where I should go, what I should do?

Hello Aquarius

You aren't the only Aquarius who is confused right now but nothing so serious that a little creativity and following your dreams can't fix. We were all born with what I like to call a road map of our lives. That is what an astrological chart is. You my friend were born with a splash chart and that makes you quite capable of doing many different things. You are coming into lots of changes over the next few years especially where vocation, studying and traveling to distant lands are concerned. Your chart indicates many creative interests in which entertaining is one of them. You are the one who holds yourself back - no one else. You must be true to yourself and pursue the type of career that will make you happy. If you read my work on a regular basis you have probably heard me say many times that the prerequisite to happiness is doing the right thing at the right time for you.

You are coming into your first Saturn return next year and this is what I refer to as the maturing time in a person's life. It is very common for you to be reevaluating your life and your future direction. This is a pivotal period, a time to size up what you have done with your life up until this point and what the possibilities are for the future. This is your decision - no one else's and you have to make the alterations that will please you the most. If you want to pursue something creative the next couple of years is the time to do so. Don't look back too long or you will waste the opportunity to follow your heart. Take the plunge and give yourself a chance to find your niche. The worst case scenario is not trying to achieve your dreams and looking back in fifteen years when you go through your second half-life Saturn and you say to yourself could of, should of would of. Don't fall victim to having regrets because you didn't take the initiative - just do it - the time is right.

Article: Lost Hope

Dear Eugenia,

Please...Eugenia...how long do I have to wait to get your reply? Do I need to write in English? I'm waiting for your help.

I was born in Sept 18, 1956 (9:10 PM) and he was born in Dec 26, 1961, my ex-husband was born Dec 26, 1957. I'm not sure about his birth time. He is the most precious person in my life and I would not trade him for anyone else. He is not afraid of anything. We were happy as if we had both found the love of our life. We told each other that we could not find the another person that we could love more.

However, he changes his mind now. He is still going out with me but it's different from what we used to be. He even wants to break up with me but we both know that we love each other. My life is in total darkness now. I lost hope. I am trying to overcome this difficult feeling, but sometimes I don't want to be alive anymore. I cry almost everyday.

If I wait for him, will he come back to me? At this moment, I'm going to wait and endure this hardship. For your reference, I'm taking care of my children (1 son & 1 daughter) alone. What does he mean to me? Is he my man? If not, when will I meet Mr. Right? Or is it better to live alone?

You do match up better to your younger Capricorn then you did to your ex-husband but this relationship is still lacking some of the basic qualities that one should have in a serious partnership. There is some sorrow that is present and that falls in an area of your chart that deals with your home and family. This man may not be completely honest with you regarding how he feels about your children. Your chart indicates that you are going through many changes in your personal life and that this man is probably a stepping stone in your life. I belief that both the Capricorn's in your life have been there to teach you something. Both men have their Sun sign placed in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects and therefore it is difficult to have a long term relationship with either one of them. You actually match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Leo Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces. You will be in a high cycle where love is concerned during the first half of next year. Dear Eugenia,

I have an on going struggle with what I should do about my relationship with the man in my life. He is a Leo 1937. I was born February 8, 1946 at 10:16 AM. Here is the problem. We can get along so beautifully and then I do, or say something to upset him. It appears my independence and detachment, upsets him. I try to reassure him that I love him, but I often feel he wants more of me than I can give. He wants to be first and most important in my life. Sharing me with friends is taboo to him. This makes me feel pulled between him and my other pursuits in my life. How can I get around all this? I truly love him, but there is a part of me that I can't control. I MUST have my independence. We have been in a serious relationship for a year. I hope you will answer this letter. I am desperate for some help soon. Thank you for this opportunity to let this out.

You neglected to give me specifics regarding your Leo partner however you did include his year of birth so I can assume that his natal Neptune doesn't play too much havoc with your natal chart. Being polar opposites I can definitely see the attraction. With your strong Aquarius traits you would need a certain amount of freedom to come and go as you please in order to be happy. If he can't allow you this freedom you may have to move on. You are coming into a high cycle during the second half of this year and the first half of next year that will help you where love and romance is concerned. It should allow you to meet someone who may be more in tune to the lifestyle you require and who you can relate to better regarding such matters. If you do decide to stay with your Leo friend this period can also be a favorable time to tell how you feel and that he has to allow you to see your friends and to do the things that you enjoy or you will move on and leave him behind. Unfortunately he appears to be possessive and this is something that will always stand between you if he can't come to terms with it. It is also apparent in your chart that you do attract the type of man who does want to possess you and control you.
