For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

My long-term question is that electronic astrology programs mention that I have latent undiscovered psychic or spiritual abilities. My AstroAdvice Natal Analysis says, "You can use your psychic abilities to get ahead in the world" and rates it 90%. I heard a suggestion that meditation can awaken this ability which could improve my environment and let me help myself as well as others. My interest in this subject is mainly spiritual as I have strong interests in improving myself spiritually. In your opinion and from your experience, how may I do so?My medium term question is my choice of career. Would my choice of career affect psychic or spiritual development (above question)? I wish to pursue electrical engineering.
My short-term question is that on 13th July 2000 and 18th July 2000 I suffered two minor accidents, the latter being one involving a motor vehicle. Is the time right for me to be on the road driving a motor vehicle? I was born June 17, 1980, at 2:54 PM.

Your chart does indicate Psychic ability however it appears to be in an area that deals with your well being and investments. Regarding helping you in your professional pursuits I think you have a natural ability to excel. You should do well in your chosen field and although you will have to work hard over the next couple of years you should find that between 2002 and 2008 you will have all kinds of opportunities to get ahead. I do not believe that your professional obligations will stand in the way of your spiritual or psychic growth. You should find that you will begin to expand your awareness in psychic areas next summer and this will set your spiritual course for years to come. Just because someone does well in business or has a career that is analytical does not mean that he or she cannot reach as high a spiritual or psychic level. You may want to take an interest course next year that will help you develop your intuitive abilities even further. Concerning your accidents I feel it was due to transiting Mars conjunct your natal Mercury in a transportation area of your chart. This particular transit can also cause arguments with friends or relatives, problems while traveling or difficulties with teachers. Although it has moved on for the time being it is something that can occur from time to time.

I am a 47-year-old single mom born 2/15/53 at 3:47 PM. About 26 years ago I met a young man his birth info is 11/10/52 at 8:41PM. We just clicked, at first we dated, but soon became best friends. We remained so for the next four years. He returned to the part of the country he grew up in and we lost contact. Seven years later he called me. We were both married and had children born 2 weeks apart.
Because we were both married I was reluctant to renew our friendship. I didn't hear from him again until this past Dec. when he called me one evening. I was quite surprised that he found me as I live 1,200 miles away from where we knew each other and I have a different name.
At first things were friendly, but soon became romantic. He has flown me to see him and has visited me 3 times since Jan. We speak long distance once or twice a day. My kids love him and would like for him to live nearby. He enjoys their company as well and has told me they need a dad, and the chemistry between us is amazing.
My question is can this relationship remain as a romantic one or is this just one of those things that will fizzle out. Being together means one of us needs to pull up stakes and move 1,500 miles and right now not being together means lots of money for phone calls and travel that neither of us can really afford. Not wanting to be a fool for romance.

The comparison is quite favorable. You should be able to make this union work as long as you are both realistic. Many factors will have to be taken care of before you can make a permanent commitment. I feel that it would probably be better for you to make the move, not him, however that may not be possible. You have a great deal in common and the area that deals with home and family in both your charts will be in a much stronger and positive position next year. If it takes that long to sort things out that's fine. This is a relationship that is well worth the effort and you should both be willing to do whatever is necessary in order to work toward a strong and lasting commitment. You can both make sudden moves at times that will backfire. Therefore it is very important that you take your time and do things right this time. Whoever decides to move should make sure that he or she has a job lined up. The chemistry between you is such that you may not make the wisest decision due to passionate reasons. First of all I would like to say thank you. Astro Advice has gotten me through some real bad times. Your insight into the problems in life based on sound scientific principles has helped me weather some real stormy situations, recently. Yet I still have some unanswered questions concerning my relationship. My wife was born on April 1954; I am not sure what time. I was born on March 8 1949, at 3:43 a.m. I know that we have some real problems understanding each other's philosophies some times, and that some times I don't understand how to be sensitive to her emotionally and vice versa. Why is this? She is a Taurus and I am a Pisces, shouldn't we get along a lot better. By the way we have been married 21 years, so all is not lost. What I want to know is, I mean can you tell me where our weak points are and can these problems be fixed or because she has her Saturn in Gemini and I have my Saturn in Virgo we can never get closer, doomed to live out our lives in this intolerable state of affairs. Please help me find an answer in astrological terms, because I am sort of disillusioned by the information that I find in the "ROMANCE COMPATABILITY" section of "ASTRO ADVICE". Almost everyday it tells me that I should seriously consider the why I am in this relationship. The "LOVE THERMOMETER" states that I love my wife 83% and she only loves me 72% please clarify. Wish you thought to give me your wife's complete birth data. It's kind of hard to give you a well-rounded answer with only half the equation. Based on your chart however I can tell you this. You have been going through personal changes regarding love, partnerships, your home environment and your position in society. Now you might say, not really and that's where your wife's data would have helped me to clarify what is at the route of the problem. Often I find that when these types of transits are going through someone chart they don't always see things clearly. In other words, your wife may not be content and she may feel as if she is talking to a brick wall. Fact of the matter is that she may be the one who should be reevaluating the relationship if you haven't been giving her what she needs emotionally. In your case however, I doubt that is the case. I feel that the percentages that the love thermometer indicates the problem is probably more an issue that relates more to remembering the reason you and your wife fell in love with one another in the first place and trying to rekindle the flame that once burnt so passionately.
