I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I really would like some advice on how to get ahead in life and to really let myself shine. I seem to always be putting others objectives before my own but feel that I?m shooting myself in the foot and not letting myself reach my best (which I feel could be something great). My two main important queries are with my career and love. I've studied acting through university and just moved countries from Australia to the United Kingdom after graduating. Since then my career path has changed from acting to singing/songwriting and it has really lit a 'flame in my belly'. My main concern is how to get ahead by using my talents and what future trends may be hindering or helping me astrologically.? My second is love, which always seems to be somewhat of a minefield for me - e.g. I like people who don't like me or there is no chance with and keep going back convincing myself there is 'something' there - plus not being able to be myself with them, or friends I care about turn out to like me (and I don't in that way) and in some instances I've surrendered to them to not lose them. The other thing is my sexuality is quite open-minded which is quite confusing in itself.
At the moment I?m in a really positive place feeling like I?m on the verge of something brilliant - but I?m just not sure how I?m going to get there. Motivation hasn't always been my strongest attribute - I'm better at ambition and imagination. Any help Eugenia is greatly appreciated! I was born February 10, 1982, at 8:09 AM.

You are in a high cycle where your career is concerned until the fall of this year so you have no time to waste. You must be approaching the record publishing companies and promoting and performing as much as you can between now and the fall ? and if that means putting in a lot of time and doing freebies so be it. I wouldn?t worry too much about relationships right now. It is apparent that come August you will be in a much better position to meet someone more to your liking. Part of your problem has been the fact that you were born with a Venus Saturn square in your chart in an area that deals with relationships and your status in society with regard to partnerships. This can make it awkward for you to feel at ease with someone during the early stages of your relationship making it difficult to make the kind of impression that will seal the deal. I believe that you are coming into your own in that regard and during the latter part of this year and most of next you will meet people who are more inclined to see you for whom you are and recognize your talents as well. During that period you should be able to reach out and get the help and favors required to get ahead as well as meet potential partners both in the industry as well as at a personal level. Hang in there my friend you are young and you have some wonderful transits coming your way that should help you solve the problems you?ve been facing in the past as well as help you make headway in an industry that is very competitive.

Dear Eugenia:
This is my second attempt to write you concerning this problem that seems to be overwhelming to me.I became reacquainted with someone (b/d 3/31/46 mine 9/8/47) from my hometown after 30 years. He lives an hour away and we have spent a year of his coming to visit weekends and numerous phone calls daily. We became one another's best friend as well as lovers. It seemed our progressing relationship was going well. We had a wonderful 3-day weekend, the next two days our phone calls continued just like normal. Then out of the blue he breaks it off. When he broke it off he said he didn't love me. He wanted to leave his personal items here for a while. I waited and was horribly depressed. Sent them back. He was upset and says it was his fault. He says he has been doing a lot of soul searching about why he got scared. He said it seems he never let anyone in and thinks it stems from a childhood problem. Now he says if I can give him a few more days or weeks he hopes he can resolve his issues. He continued to say we had something special.
What is going on with him? Can he resolve these issues? Will we be able to overcome these problems? How do I deal with this? He is a wonderful man but he has hurt me deeply and I care very much for him. It could be a great relationship for my part, his I don't know.
I am not able to cope with another loss in my life. I've lost too many people to death and I just don't have the strength to be hurt again.

The comparison is quite good but I do believe that there is something that your Aries man isn't telling you. It may not be something that will matter to you but it obviously does to him. Wait it out and give the guy a chance. You've got some time to spare right now. Later this year and the first half of next year are better for you where relationships and romance are concerned so if he doesn't make his move by the fall be prepared to get out and meet new and potentially better partners. My Daughter, December,14th,1986, and? my son, August,20th,1988, are tearing me up inside.? We have had a very busy year, confusing and some-what unsettling. Now that a few of my accomplishments have been met, they are no longer apart of my daily life.? They are both so young, and they both need to grow up so fast. I am really hurting inside I cry, when I am alone, which is quite often the past few weeks. I do not see why this is happening to us. They rebel against my rules, but go live with others and abide by their stricter rules!! What is going on? Where is this all going to lead? Eugenia, you helped me before, I need you again. I need to know what I am doing so wrong. It really is killing me inside; help me to understand these challenges, and obstacles. Why can't they grow and prosper in my care? You have a good chart and a very capable chart in so many ways however where children are concerned (having them, raising them) you have a Neptune Mars opposition that stands in your way. This causes uncertainty, confusion, and anger and it unfortunately hooks up to the Moon in both your children?s charts negatively. This means that there is emotional deception and disillusionment when it comes to the way they relate to you and you to them.
Your chart denotes that right now you should be focusing on career and moving in a direction that will help you grow and prosper financially and professionally. Your home environment continues to show weakness, deception and plenty of confusion until the spring of 2009. This may make it difficult for you to do the job necessary in order to raise your children. Your children do have a rebellious nature and if someone else can make the difference or help to get them through their growing years without too many incidence it will be a blessing. Consider yourself lucky that you have someone who can handle your children. As for you ?
