For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. My sun sign is in Cancer, I was born July 7, 1979, at 12:15 AM, and I've read enough on astrology to know that I should be compatible with both Virgo and Pisces. My past two relationships were with each, and although lengthy, they proved difficult.I think it may have something to do with my Aries rising. I'm afraid the aggressive nature so common in the ram is a bit intimidating, especially when the aggressor is female. My last fling was with an Aries male, and although at first there were sparks, it quickly diminished. I realize that other aspects affect astrological matchmaking, but I'd like to get your opinion on the matter. What male sign can handle both the Aries stubbornness, and the crab's ultra-sensitivity? My moon is in Sagittarius.

Actually in your particular case the Sun sign match up doesn't work all that well. Normally you should get along well with both Virgo and Scorpio. However, the sign Scorpio falls in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects so it's unlikely to work. To add to this your natal Jupiter and Mercury are in the sign Leo adversely aspected to the sign Scorpio. The sign Virgo falls in an area that deals with work not personal matters such as relationships plus you have your natal Mars in Gemini and your natal Neptune in Sagittarius and that would clearly play havoc with a strong Virgo. Having your natal Sun in the 4th house adversely aspected to your natal Pluto in the 7th leads me to believe that you will have difficulty with relationships. Now that doesn't mean that you can't have a happy union. Especially with your natal Moon, Neptune, Jupiter and Mercury well aspected to the Pluto in your 7th but it does mean that you will have to choose your partner wisely and realize that relationships don't just happen, they require work, dedication, devotion and perseverance. You match up well to those born under the signs, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius. I suggest that you always run a comparison before you decide to get serious and intimate with someone. Although a person can be born under one of these signs it does not mean that they will have a lot of their natal planets in that sign and this could result in difficulties once again.

First of all thanks for taking the time to read my letter, but here goes my question it's pretty short and simple. I just found out about Saturn Return, my life has been very much upside down since June 2000, I'm working so hard to make the necessary changes and create a whole new life that'll work for me, but I'm curious to know when this whole Saturn Return will pass & things will start going my way without everything being such a pain in the butt. Your Saturn return hasn't hit you yet however with transiting Saturn moving through your first house it probably has already caused depression, questioning, difficulties within your personal life etc. Your actual Saturn return will be in affect between May 23, 2001 until July 1, 2001, coming back to haunt you between January 7, 2002 until March 12, 2002. Now before you freak out on me please read on. Saturn is a great disciplinarian. Your Saturn return is a period of reevaluation, change and a turning point in your life that should bring about good results if you do what you are supposed to do. If you settle and give up you can not expect to accomplish your dreams however if you reevaluate and make the necessary changes you will succeed. This is a pivotal point in your life that will help you grow, mature and turn your future into what you always wanted it to be. Up until this point it isn't likely that you had the experience, wisdom or know-how to do so. This is a time that can be extremely good if you are focused, determined and willing to put in the effort required to reach your goals.
