Hi Eugenia

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. Dear Eugenia

I wrote to you a couple of times before. I'm not sure if you received my letters or not. Anyways, I need you to answer a question concerning my friendship with my girlfriend. I want to know if we are compatible and if she's being a true friend to me. I get the feeling that she lies to me and is trying to avoid me because she doesn't want anything to do with me. Could you please tell me if this is true and if it is, why is that? How does she really feel about me and our friendship? I thought that we were compatible because we're both born on the cusp. I can understand your concern. The comparison wasn't all that great and there is definitely an element of sorrow and possible deception regarding this connection. The deception however could be your view of the relationship. You may not be looking at this union in the same way that she is. I believe that you may be taking it far more seriously and this can lead to future problems. You may want to rethink your motives and your intentions before you try to move forward with this person. I have been struggling with a conflict for a few days now, and I'd like to know what the stars have to say about it; I have to write my medical school admissions test soon, and my husband is very much against me doing it. I have been working for four years towards this goal, and now I am at this roadblock. My husband's birthday is Oct. 21, 1979. I don't know his time of birth; mine is July 19, 1979, at 3:00 AM. You have to follow your heart. You are in a high cycle where educational pursuits are concerned and if you don't proceed you will end up blaming your husband later on. If he isn't secure enough within himself, you and your relationship you must question what you are doing with him. He should be supportive, positive and willing to help you through. Instead he is trying to stand in your way and hold you back. You will do well in the medical field and must not pass up an opportunity to satisfy your professional dreams. Your husband's chart indicates that he can be possessive and I would imagine that regardless of the reasons he is giving you for not pursuing your educational goals he is more afraid that you will outgrow him. Don't be one of those people who looks back and says "what if" or "should have, would have, could have". Just do it.
