I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. Dear Eugenia:
This is my second attempt to write you concerning this problem that seems to be overwhelming to me.I became reacquainted with someone (b/d 3/31/46 mine 9/8/47) from my hometown after 30 years. He lives an hour away and we have spent a year of his coming to visit weekends and numerous phone calls daily. We became one another's best friend as well as lovers. It seemed our progressing relationship was going well. We had a wonderful 3-day weekend, the next two days our phone calls continued just like normal. Then out of the blue he breaks it off. When he broke it off he said he didn't love me. He wanted to leave his personal items here for a while. I waited and was horribly depressed. Sent them back. He was upset and says it was his fault. He says he has been doing a lot of soul searching about why he got scared. He said it seems he never let anyone in and thinks it stems from a childhood problem. Now he says if I can give him a few more days or weeks he hopes he can resolve his issues. He continued to say we had something special.
What is going on with him? Can he resolve these issues? Will we be able to overcome these problems? How do I deal with this? He is a wonderful man but he has hurt me deeply and I care very much for him. It could be a great relationship for my part, his I don't know.
I am not able to cope with another loss in my life. I've lost too many people to death and I just don't have the strength to be hurt again.

The comparison is quite good but I do believe that there is something that your Aries man isn't telling you. It may not be something that will matter to you but it obviously does to him. I just moved into a new place with my boyfriend but I'm not sure he's the one. Some days I convince myself that everything is okay then other days I wonder if I can handle all the issues he has with his ex wife, children and him not wanting anymore kids. (his b-day is: Jan 11/62 at 3am and mine August 26, 1964, at 6 am). We have been arguing so much more ever since we moved in and I'm ready to walk. You and your partner match up very well astrologically. It's times like these that you discover how strong your character is as well as his. His chart indicates that he has difficult transits regarding divorce settlement, legal matters, financial agreements and so forth but this will continue to haunt him for the next two years and like it or not he does have to be responsible to his first family regardless of how his ex is responding. All that being said he should probably try to put a stop to any harassment that he may be subject to by coming to a suitable arrangement that both he his ex and his children stick to. Once that is done things at least have a chance to settle down. Your chart indicates that you are moving into a period of uncertainty and you must try to curb any desire to overreact or to make changes suddenly that you might regret later on. Regarding having children of your own you will be feeling the urge especially over the course of the next year and I do believe that the chance of getting pregnant is likely however it may not be the best thing to do when your relationship is going through so much turmoil. I have seen many comparisons that are good where the end result was separation. Right now your timing is bad and it likely that you will get fed up. You are both going through a fair amount of stress over the course of the next 18 months. To add to that if you should get pregnant, fly off the handle or get upset about things that are out of your control will not help matters. This is a relationship worth nurturing but with the transits you both are experiencing I have my doubts that you will make it. Should you decide to walk, and you probably will, I believe that you will meet someone new before year-end. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. Without having your partner's ex-wife's date of birth as well as his children's birth data I can't be sure what he will do should you walk but his chart indicates that he could very easily return to his family should that be the case.
