Hi Eugenia

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. Dear Eugenia

I am an 18 years old boy. I had written a letter to you before, I am very pleased for the suggestion you gave to me. Now my relationship with a girl born February 11, 1984 is pretty good. I wanted to ask her to go out about one and half months ago. But I was afraid that I would fail, so I asked my friend to check her out for me. Unfortunately she said that she only likes me as a good friend, but does not love me. So I didn't ask her out...

The comparison with your Aquarius friend is good and you are coming into a high cycle regarding love this summer but you must also keep in mind that it may or may not be with her. Article: Cannot control myself

Dear Eugenia,

I admire the members who receive replies from you. I have sent you numerous letters and got no reply. I cannot solve the problem in my relationship and that has almost driven me crazy.

I like a male friend who frequently called me in the past. When we were in a group of friends, he always talked with me. At that time, I liked someone else so I didn't show affection to him. But recently, I find that I love him and cannot control myself. I know that he has a girl he likes. I didn't care about this in the past, but now I feel jealous when he talks about her. Every time we go out, we go out with a few friends. I feel unhappy if he does not talk to me or if he talks to someone else. I always become angry because of him. The comparison was good but the timing might be poor for both of you right now. Instead you should be focusing on school and your future professional direction this year.
