For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Virgo-Libra?

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. I am currently on a complete roller coaster ride with a guy that I am dating and am not sure which way to go with it, ie, should I keep 'riding' in hopes of a commitment or walk away and not look back. My intentions weren't to get involved with a man 10 years younger than me but I absolutely adore him and care for him. I have friends who are happily married to men who were 'difficult' in the beginning and they are in complete bliss now. Does this person look as though he could be a 'long term' or do our charts state otherwise. Any input would be a HUGE help.

The comparison with your Cancer man was adequate but did show signs of sorrow in an area of your chart that deals with friends, family, work associates and communication. This can result in some deception and dishonesty about true feelings and what else is going on when he isn't with you. There are a lot of uncertainties that are going through your chart right now with regards to continuing this relationship. You are at a place in your life where you want to settle down. He is going through some major turmoil regarding taking that step. He was born with his natal Neptune opposite his natal Venus and that usually means that he can be a bit of a player, especially with his Venus being in the sign Gemini and his Neptune in Sagittarius. Without his time of birth I cannot tell you exactly how this will manifest itself in his chart but in yours I believe that he could eventually cheat. I usually like younger men older women relationships or the other way around, but in this case I do believe that you should not put up with anything that he dishes out and that you should keep your door open for a possible new love connection because your chart indicates that you are in a high cycle where meeting new partners or having someone you cared about from your past coming back into your life. If you are tied up with your Cancer friend you aren't likely to be in a position to move onto someone who will treat you better. Regarding your friends who are happily married to difficult men - you'd have to be a fly on the wall to really know how good or bad their relationships are. The grass always looks greener on the other side. You match up better to those born under the signs Aries, Leo, Libra and Aquarius.

I am a Taurus, 17 May 1971, 2:28 GMT Newcastle upon Tyne, England. For the past year I feel as though my life has been shaken to the very foundations. I divorced my womanizing, lying, cheating Arian husband and I resumed my Masters Degree at university. I am normally such a reserved person but these days I seem to be controlled by higher things. I know my Saturn return is coming up and my chart may be affected by the recent build up of planets in my sign.
However, after all of this cosmic clearing out in my life I feel as thoughit's all been an anti-climax. What is the likely affect of these planetary configurations on my chart? I feel that you will see the affects of the planets moving through your sign when transiting Jupiter and Saturn conjunct your natal Sun and Saturn. You have obviously been doing what you are supposed to be doing with your Saturn return, that being, reevaluating your life up to this point and making the changes necessary to make your life and yourself better. Your chart will be going through some nice cycles throughout this year where legal and financial matters are concerned. Educationally you are coming into a really nice high cycle for the course of the next few years and you should be following this direction through apprenticeships, travel, courses or self-improvement. You have a lot to look forward to. It's time to focus on yourself and that is exactly what you are planning to do. The sign Aries isn't necessarily a bad sign for you to get involved with however this sign can bed bounce. If you meet another one, don't rule him out but do a comparison and make sure that you don't have any negative or deceptive aspects. You also match up well to those born under the signs Cancer, Virgo and Capricorn.
