For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. For the past 3 years, I have been under almost unbearable stress. During this time, my husband committed suicide and left me with astronomical debts; 6 mos. later my mother who has dementia came to live with me; I have dealt with serious problems with my children and am trying to make a go of my husband's business that was near bankrupt at the time of his death. I am almost to the BREAKING POINT! Will there be any relief from these pressures? Can I look forward to a brighter future? I was born April 23, 1947, at 5:20 PM.

You do have plenty on your plate but you also show great strength, wisdom and courage and I know you will make it through. I do believe that the absolute worst is over but there is still plenty of hard work to do. The area of your chart that deals with work and money is coming into a higher cycle over the next two years and you should be able to make headway in that regard. Also opportunities to learn, travel and to sign legal contracts will be present somewhat over the next few months however if these do not go manifest in full it will come to pass next year. Your children will continue to challenge you somewhat but they are unique and need to follow their own paths. As for your mother you will have to consider alternatives regarding institutions. There is only so much that you can do and at this point you must put yourself and your children first. You did not submit your mother or your children's birth data so I can not give you more information regarding them. I do feel however that if you are willing to work hard this year you will see results throughout 2001.

I really like your web site it's very entertaining. I'm wondering if you would please answer this question for me: Am I a Scorpio or Scorpio/Sagittarius My birth date is November 22, 1967 and approximate birth time 2:00 a.m. in Toulouse, France.
I've always associated myself with being a Scorpio more than a Sagittarius, but wonder because I'm right on the cusp, am I correct in my thinking. Most of the Astrological books show Scorpio from October 24 to November 21, though I have run into some that have the dates October 24 to November 22, which dates are correct.
Would you please clear this up for me ------- am I more Scorpio than Sagittarius or do I have a little of both?
My boyfriend is a Pisces - birth date March 13, 1971, what is our compatibility like?

The dates that they set in most newspapers are for the benefit of the readers who know little about the subject and refuse to note that it can change a couple of days from year to year. When I first took over Jeane Dixon's column I tried to incorporate the exact date that the Sun moved from one constellation to another however too many readers were upset so I had to go back to using the Sun Sign set dates. In your case you are a Scorpio with your natal Sun, Mercury and Neptune in that sign. You don't have any planets whatsoever in the sign Sagittarius therefore you are correct that they influence is minimal. You do however have a strong Virgo influence with your natal Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in that sign as well as your ascendant. Regarding your compatibility with your boyfriend I felt that it was quite superb. Although no relationship is perfect there really weren't any red flags to speak of. I would be considering marriage over the course of the next two years and possibly of starting a family.
