I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Where do I begin as the song says! Since the end of December my life has completely changed. My mother fell very ill nearly died and as a result she is no longer able to live alone. My sister and I agreed that we would never put my mom in a nursing home. So, I moved to a bigger house and moved 2 households into one. My adult children live with me too. I have a job where I like the work I do, but my boss is very verbally abusive, and have been working on making some professional changes (do you show anything in my chart in that regard??)Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I am on a Spiritual Path and I know that all these situations are just lessons being learned.
My question to you though is this; According to my chart do you see any particular endeavors that would be better than another for me to pursue? I am now in the travel industry. I have experience in the hospitality industry as well. Healing, Hypnosis (I have certification) and NLP are my love though. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't know what I want to do when I grow up?? Do you have any suggestions or ideas?? Any help would be great, I would really appreciated it. You are right about making changes. Your chart indicates that you should be concentrating on your work, money and career. Over the course of the next three years you will have plenty of opportunities to forge ahead in whichever field you decide to pursue. Your chart indicates that you like the unusual and you like to help others. You also show great promise regarding communications, travel, hospitality and so on. I feel that because of this you are probably best to make your money in the later area and take time to enjoy the spiritual path that you desire on the side. Know one should have to put up with an abusive boss. I suggest that you start looking for a new position, if you get your resume out into the market or you approach a headhunter in your industry you should be able to land a decent position between now and the end of September. You will be in a high cycle regarding career moves, changes and advancement during the first half of next year as well. You've taken on a lot but you also have a very giving and loving personality. Romantically you will be in a high cycle throughout next year. Partnerships will be in the picture during the second half of the year. Don't hold back, you can do it all. Get rid of the boss from hell and you'll have the energy to take part in all the aactivities that interest you.

I had watched your show about a woman with cancer making preparations for her family. You said her illness was not going to go into a remission that she needed to prepare.
I hope you may be able to better enable me and my family in the passing of my father.Recently he has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and it is terminal. Radiation has been given to him to help him in quality of life and to slow the inevitable. I fear he doesn't have long. His birth date is Feb 13 1936.I don't live close to my father and have financial struggles. I was able to fly out for a week. We shared happy memories and also said our good byes. He has just had a "step down" in his health and response to his pain medications. This happened while my brothers were here for a visit. They immediately flew back home (they live in the same city), to be with Dad. I too want to go to him, but I must time my visit and budget. I also have three small children, ages 10 months, 2 years and 6years. I need to make sure they are taken care of.
I guess my question is, when should I go...or how long does my Dad have? When should I go?
As I mentioned, I do need to know rather quickly as I don't think he has very long.

It is the time you spend with him while he is still coherent that counts my dear so what are you waiting for. Once he's gone there is nothing you can do for him it will only be to comfort yourself and other family members. The quality time however is now while you can bring him joy by sharing fond memories and make him feel more comfortable by taking his mind off his deterioration. It is difficult to tell you when he might pass - only God has the answer to that question. According to his chart however the possibility of living another year and a half is present but it certainly would not be a great quality of life and for his sake and that of the family some of the transits he is experiencing between now and the end of the year could be enough to take him which would probably be a blessing. It is never easy to lose someone you love but having experienced that love and the obvious connection that the two of you had will allow him to live on through you. You matched up well with your Sun signs being at a precise trine to one another. Your chart indicates that you should be going to see him in August/September of this year. It will do you both a lot of good to have this time together. Without the rest of your families birth times it is hard for me to be more specific regarding his passing but it is apparent that the aftermath will hit you and your Cancer brother first and your Aries brother later on. Hold together as a family and take time to share the different memories that each one of you has with your dad so that you can all understand the dynamics of your family and your roots much better. With this your father will be remembered in a much deeper way by all of you.

A few months ago, I could not get an ex-boy fiend out of my mind. It was his 30th Birthday coming up and I just could not stop thinking about him! I took it upon myself to write a letter to him just to say hello, as we had not spoken in over 5 years since I moved back home to Australia. I didn't know where he was (he lives in the US) so I sent the letter to his parent's address, which they forwarded to him. In the letter I said not to feel obligated to write back if he didn't want to etc. I knew he was married and wanted to respect that. He was the love of my life, the one that I still compare everyone else to. He was such an important influence on who I am.Two days ago, I received an email back from him. He was amazed and very happy to hear from me. He is divorced now, living with a new girlfriend in another state. We have sent a few e-mails back and forth over the past few days and I am stunned that we still know exactly what to say to make the other laugh and connect! We were the best of friends and I was equally as devastated when we split up for losing a lover and best friend.
My point is, have we come back into communication with each other for a reason? I always thought of him as my soul mate and have often said that if we had met in our late 20's, we would have been together for life. I am now 29. I am sure I am reading too much into it. Or am I? If not, it is really nice to be in touch again. What's happening here???

It is too bad that you didn't include his date of birth. Without it I can't run a comparison in order to determine if you do belong together or not. I can tell you however that you are going through your Saturn return right now and this always makes you reevaluate your past. It can bring past partner back into your life especially if you didn't have proper closure the first time around.
