This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I am a 44 year old female born December 22, 1958 at 10 pm and currently residing in New York. I have recently become involved in a long distance relationship with a younger man (he resides in North Carolina). I grew up in his hometown and visit it quite frequently, at least once every other month. Not only is he younger but also he is a Gemini (DOB 6/17/74). Which I have been told he is not compatible with my sign and to steer clear. Yet our time together is very special. He is a great conversationalist, while am a good listener. He appreciates the fact that I only offer advice when he requests it. I find him highly intelligent and that is most important to me. The problem is I am always drawn to Gemini's, if I would walk in a room full of available bachelors the one that I would be most attracted to would turn out to be a Gemini. I have dated several and even married one. Is there something wrong with me or is there a reason why this type of man seems to draw me out?

You were born with the sign Aquarius in an area of your chart that deals with partnerships and relationships therefore the Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are not bad for you. I do think that Geminis are particularly good because they fall in an area of people who can help you achieve your dreams, hopes and wishes for the future. You can learn from them and prosper because of them. Article: Missed Opportunities

Dear Ms. Last:

Although I have a million questions, this one is purely selfish but I have been searching for guidance and maybe a few answers for so long. I am 41 yrs. old. An Aries born March 24, 1959, at 3:30 AM. Thankfully happily married with a husband (Virgo) who loves me and two (arggh) pre-teen daughters. I am very independent in some ways which is great since I married a trucker who is gone most of the time. I have always wanted desperately to travel, meet people, to understand differences and learn from them. And yet I did not go into anything that would take me anywhere. My quest for adventure is aggravating and frustrating. I've often had the feeling that I am supposed to be doing SOMETHING and yet either ignore the signs or am deaf to them. I had two Aunts that were Rosacrucians who one Christmas told me about their lives and said that although I wouldn't understand then, I would use their information in the future. ( I contacted the Rosacrucians and they asked for $$$) I look at those who have obvious gifts and sometimes wonder IF I have missed the boat. There is something very important in my life that is missing and I need just a nudge if you could oblige. Spirituality has always been very important in my life. I find myself questioning old beliefs and some days I'm so sure of the answers and other days totally at odds with them. This I realize can be attributed to getting older etc but the same questions remain now as they did when I was young. Why this ongoing need to travel around the world I would give my eye teeth to give my children an international education)and my need for adventure so intense yet seemingly so unattainable. Have I been given any gifts in life that should enable me to find my path? This is not just an age thing but something that has plagued me most of my lifetime. I just feel like I am running around in circles. I do know that if I could find some answers as to why I was put onto this earth then maybe I would be much more content. Other than this aspect of my life...I have been given many other gifts of which I am thankful. Just one more thing that is going to sound sooooo stupid but over the years I have come to some tenuous conclusions in my life and in a nutshell this would be it. I was a black Jew who traveled extensively, Married not for love but for ?????, was very educated and learned and treated those without it unkindly and have always felt that If I ever got to the "British Isles" that I would be finally going home. First of all, I just wanted to inform you that I admire you for all the advice you have given people. You have been blessed with the gift of astrology on your side and you have used it to help others. I totally admire that. I guess that is why I come to you for I am in desperate need of advice. I trust what the stars and planets have in store for me and know that astrology can tell me thingsabout myself that I didn't know or I can learn about others. I guess that is why I am so fascinated with astrology. Recently things in a relationship had been turned upside down. I was seeing this guy and everyone knew that we liked each other a lot. You could tell just by the way we would look at each other or the way we would speak to one another. After two months of seeing each other, the guy I was seeing finally decided he wanted to move to the next level with me. This came from out of the blue considering he was ditching me all the time. He told me the reason he was ditching me all the time was because I scared him with the fact that I was so into him and the age differencebetween the two of us. He was born August 5, 1967(don't know the time) and I was born on March 6, 1981 at 1:34am. So there is a good 12 years between us. I accidentally made him mad by being inconsiderate and he blew everything out of proportion. He hasn't spoken to me in overa month and then I find out that he lied to me. He told me that he was being evicted from his apartment because of me knocking on his door for so long when he actually didn't pay his rent. I have forgiven him for not telling me the truth. In all honesty, I don't know if I am in love with him. My mom tells me that it does matter how I feel and she knows that I feel very strongly for this guy. Should you stay or should you go is the question. The compatibility was okay but I do feel that an element of deception is present and this could mean that there will be more dishonesty in the future. His Sun sign also falls in an area of your chart that can lead to dead end projects. I also believe that you are going through a very vulnerable time regarding love and relationships. Regardless of the direction you take I feel that you will have some romantic problems over the course of the next two years. I would be inclined to tell you to proceed with caution and to give him another chance if you do have strong feelings for him however I would not suggest that you commit to him legally for the duration of the next two to three years.
