Why are Virgos so uptight and difficult to have a relationship? I noticed that on every Sun Sign Page under "in the game of love" that every sign has difficulty with Virgos. Am I doomed to be single for years and years? How can I tell if I am the way YOU say I am? I was born September 16, 1982, at 11:56 am.

Hi Virgo

No one is exactly like his or her sun sign and we all have a little bit of each sign in our character. In your case you have just as much Libra in your chart as you do Virgo with a strong Scorpio and Sagittarius influence as well. Now I happen to think that is a very nice combination. The Virgo in your chart falls in an area that deals with society and how far you'll get. It's what we refer to as your limelight house. Virgo being the practical and fastidious sign that it is should be an asset in that area of your chart. With Scorpio rising you will have a do or die attitude at times but the Sagittarius and Libra in your chart will chill you out and give you a diplomatic manner that is hard to resist. There is no reason why you can't have a good relationship with other signs however the ones you happen to match up to the best are Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You can't take your sun sign so literally. You will be coming into a high cycle where love and romance are concerned this fall so get out and mingle and you should meet someone who is right for you. The past two and a half years would have been difficult where love was concerned due to a Saturn transit but that will be leaving your chart in June making such encounters much easier.

Hi Eugenia

I was born on the first day of Libra ? September 23, 1968 at 2:25 pm. I feel I have many characteristics of Libra, but I also feel that I have many characteristics of Virgo. Is it possible to know how much of each sign is predominant? My boyfriend, on his turn, was born on the last day of Virgo, September 22. Is it a good match as far as the stars are concerned? He seems to have commitment problems, what I do not see as typical of Virgo.

Without your boyfriends year of birth it is hard to say whether he is more Virgo or Libra. Also without having his accurate birth time he could be a Virgo or a Libra by Sun sign as well. The dates used in the newspaper are standard but certainly not exact. Some years the Sun will pass into the next constellation one day earlier or later which is something that most people don?t realize. In your case you were born at 0 degrees 44 minutes into the sign Libra and you also have the Moon, Venus and Mercury in that sign. On the other hand you have Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the sign Virgo so yes you are right to feel very split between the two signs. With your Saturn in Aries, your Neptune in Scorpio and Aquarius rising the predominant influence will definitely be Libra followed by Virgo with Aquarius, Aries and Scorpio trailing behind. If your boyfriend has his planets situated primarily in Virgo and Leo you will match up better than if he has them situated in Virgo and Libra. Even as it stands with him being born on the 22nd of September his natal Sun will fall in your eighth house and that is not usually the best placement for a long term relationship unless the comparison is extremely high. Article: The Skills to Pay the Bills

Dear Eugenia

I have a problem... my mom is falling apart. My older brother is making my mom's life hell. I try to comfort her but she is in great pain. I am leaving in 5 days, to live with my boyfriend. I don't want to leave my mom. But I am 20 years old and it's time for me to move on with my life, and grow to be a stronger person. I can't protect her from him and I am scared what he will do to her when I am not there for her. I love my mom very much and what my brother is doing to her is killing me inside and out.

I know that this letter is not very spiritual, but I was hoping for a little advice on what I could do for my mom. My mom was born December 13,1957. I was born April 19,1980, at 4 AM. All I want is help!

Dear Mother Love

Without your brothers birth data it's hard for me to know what he is capable of doing. Regarding your mother she has to be the one to say no to him, not you. Until your mother is ready to practice tough love nothing will change. If he continually does things to hurt her she should not allow him access to her home. She must protect herself; you can't do that for her. You have to make your own choices and follow your own dreams. Your chart indicates that a move is apparent however you may be able to entice your mother to follow suit and move closer to you sometime next year. Your chart indicates that you should be able to do well in the work force. You have lots of good ideas and certainly the energy to reach your goals. You didn't submit your boyfriend's chart so I can't really make a comment on how well you'll do together. You must not let him stand in the way of your goals. It will be important that you learn the skills necessary if you want to advance professionally. Don't sell yourself short. You are bright, have social skills and can do very well given the right background. Your versatility and charm will help you get ahead.
