Why are Virgos so uptight and difficult to have a relationship? I noticed that on every Sun Sign Page under "in the game of love" that every sign has difficulty with Virgos. Hi Virgo

No one is exactly like his or her sun sign and we all have a little bit of each sign in our character. In your case you have just as much Libra in your chart as you do Virgo with a strong Scorpio and Sagittarius influence as well. Now I happen to think that is a very nice combination. The Virgo in your chart falls in an area that deals with society and how far you'll get. It's what we refer to as your limelight house. Virgo being the practical and fastidious sign that it is should be an asset in that area of your chart. With Scorpio rising you will have a do or die attitude at times but the Sagittarius and Libra in your chart will chill you out and give you a diplomatic manner that is hard to resist. There is no reason why you can't have a good relationship with other signs however the ones you happen to match up to the best are Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You can't take your sun sign so literally. You will be coming into a high cycle where love and romance are concerned this fall so get out and mingle and you should meet someone who is right for you. The past two and a half years would have been difficult where love was concerned due to a Saturn transit but that will be leaving your chart in June making such encounters much easier.

I have dated. I have been engaged a few times but never married (I think I always took marriage too seriously -- and never could promise to do all that marriage entails). I had a loving relationship with a man who had a terminal illness, who died in '95. I have always kept the door open in my heart that I might find a life-long partner, but now I wonder: should I shut the door on this option? I'm not afraid of being alone. You should never close the door on love, romance, marriage, partnership etc. One of the reasons why you have gone the route but never crossed the line when it came to marriage is due to having your natal Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with relationships opposite your Sun in an area of your chart that deals with your personal outlook. This has probably caused you or your partners throughout life to back away or have a change of heart at the last minute. With transiting Saturn moving into that area of your chart there has never been a better time to find love and get serious then now. Also with your Moon in the sign Virgo it isn't unusual for you to find love or get into a serious relationship during the second half of life. In your case you are moving into a high cycle regarding love right now and you should be out meeting new people. This particular transit can also bring someone from your past back into your life so perhaps if there is someone you still think about you should readdress this relationship. In the past the timing was probably wrong with this person. This is a great year for you creatively, educationally and where growth is concerned. You should be expanding your circle of friends, getting involved in discussions or courses that will alter your philosophy, attitude, lifestyle and outlook. You are going through changes and that is part of the reason you are feeling somewhat concerned or restless about finding love or backing away from it completely. Your site is pretty interesting, so I often visit it. This is the first time I have written to you.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 10 yrs. We planned to get married this year but suddenly, he suggested we both study abroad for one year and get married afterward. Even though we are still lovers, I am worrying about our future. My boyfriend was born on July 18, 1974 at 6 am and I was born March 20, 1974, at 2 AM.

Our parents do not support our decision. We will be spending our own money that we have saved for years. Also, after we come back, our jobs are not guaranteed. I don't know whether it is necessary to go abroad for our future. Can you also tell me what kinds of jobs suit me and do I have luck financially? I'm sorry to ask you so many questions at one time... I don't believe either one of you will do well regarding successful studies abroad. Your chart indicates that you should be considering getting on with your career. You are in a high cycle in that regard and I would hate you to miss a good professional opportunity. As for your boyfriend the comparison was good however I believe that if he goes abroad he will regret his choice. I understand his urgency to get away as he does have a need to do something different. Perhaps the money would be better spent on a trip that would be educational. Traveling to a different part of the world and experiencing foreign cultures and traditions would be an education and something that you can share together. You wouldn't have to go away for too long and you could return to your jobs or to new positions that could very well be better then the ones you had before your trip.
