Why are Virgos so uptight and difficult to have a relationship? I noticed that on every Sun Sign Page under "in the game of love" that every sign has difficulty with Virgos. Am I doomed to be single for years and years? How can I tell if I am the way YOU say I am? I was born September 16, 1982, at 11:56 am.

Hi Virgo

No one is exactly like his or her sun sign and we all have a little bit of each sign in our character. In your case you have just as much Libra in your chart as you do Virgo with a strong Scorpio and Sagittarius influence as well. Now I happen to think that is a very nice combination. The Virgo in your chart falls in an area that deals with society and how far you'll get. It's what we refer to as your limelight house. Virgo being the practical and fastidious sign that it is should be an asset in that area of your chart. With Scorpio rising you will have a do or die attitude at times but the Sagittarius and Libra in your chart will chill you out and give you a diplomatic manner that is hard to resist. There is no reason why you can't have a good relationship with other signs however the ones you happen to match up to the best are Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. You can't take your sun sign so literally. You will be coming into a high cycle where love and romance are concerned this fall so get out and mingle and you should meet someone who is right for you. The past two and a half years would have been difficult where love was concerned due to a Saturn transit but that will be leaving your chart in June making such encounters much easier.

Article: Office Politics

Dear Eugenia,

I was born in Boston, MA at 3:06am on March 6, 1975. My career is going no where. I keep running into dead ends. Every time I find a job I end up wanting to quit within 1-4 months. You can imagine what my resume looks like. I do try to commit, but always find the situation unbearable. Right now, I'm at 4 months and barely hanging on. I always want to quit because of office politics. I once heard someone say "don't be a part of office politics, but do be aware it." "mind your own business, and do your work." I have done both of these. And at every job I am constantly the "butt" of office gossip. I am aware that for me to be quiet and do my work will seem threatening to some. But why am I treated so meanly even if I am nice to everyone? I have had co-workers ruin my projects or take credit for my work. I have had plenty say negative untrue things about me and people actually believe them! Talking to managers doesn't work either. I've tried and have been put down by them or simply laughed at or ignored. I've even been fired for not being able to get along with a co-worker even though it was the co-worker who did all the "mean things". And at my current job, I am afraid this may happen again. I feel like I get the brunt of it more than anyone else. And I am sure I am not being paranoid or overly sensitive. I am professional and mature as possible and as I can be. So what's wrong with me? I am seeking therapy, however, what do you see in all this? Please tell me anything you can. Please help me. I am deeply worried, concerned, & afraid for my work/career situations. Your sensitivity regarding work and money is and has been a little out of control over the course of the past couple of years and although you are not quite over the hump as of yet relief is on the way. Your chart indicates that you should be working in a field that is a little unusual, that you need to be creative, nurturing and inventive. The area of your chart that deals with higher education is in a high cycle for the next few months and that means that an apprenticeship or picking up skills that could help you change your vocation may be the answer. You might want to consider starting your own business as well. You need to be doing something that you feel is going to give you something back at some point. Over the course of the past two years you also had transiting Neptune hitting your chart in such a way that it was causing deception, disillusionment and misunderstandings with colleagues and employers. Take three steps back and decide what it is you want to do and start to move in that direction. It's never to late to make a career change especially if it will lead to doing something that you can enjoy.

Article: The Secret of Success

Dear Eugenia,

I was born on October 25, 1962 at 1:20 p.m. and I am writing you to see if you can help me. I have had a pretty rough life, and decided three years ago that I would do what I have always wanted and that is to be an actress. I have since been on television and film sets and have seen numerous people that others would love to see, and have actually met a few and had conversations with them. That is all fine and grand, but I have had a job offer from a Model Management company and am now the regional manager for them. What I want to know is am I ever going to get a speaking part for television or film and make it as a working actress. I really want to make this life time dream come true. I am starting college in January to get a degree in Dramatic Arts. I have been approached by clairvoyants telling me they can help me, that I am in my lucky time and they can help me succeed, but they of course want money that I don't have. So could you please tell me if I am on the right path and if I will ever make it as a working actress. This has been my life long dream and I want it very badly, more than anything in life. Success is not always measured by fame and fortune it is truly the person who loves what they do for a living that is successful.
