I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend. We were supposed to get married but he kept putting it off. I found myself changing and decided not to wait anymore. Now I find myself lonesome and in need of company. I do not drink so bars are out of the question. How in this day and age does a grown woman ask men out on dates? I gave this one man a business card I made up with my e-mail, phone number and work number. (today) It felt so awkward. My question is ....is it in the stars that I will find someone to be with without feeling awkward and isolated?

I do not see you as being alone. What you have been experiencing over the past couple of years is the planet Saturn transiting through an area of your chart that causes a make it or break it period within your relationships. This particular aspect has now moved on and you should be in the clear to live, love and be happy. You will be coming into a high cycle later this year where love is concerned that will remain with you until the summer of next year. I feel that during this time you will be able to meet someone special. The best place for you to meet someone will be while on either a business or pleasure trip, while taking interest courses or attending a seminar or convention or while working or volunteering for a group that you believe in. First of all let me say that I think you are wonderful to provide the services that you do. I love being able to check on things for myself every day. I know there are many people out there that need your advice so if my letter doesn't get chosen I thank you anyway. I could really use your help though. I am a 43yr old Pisces born 2/23/57 @10:33pm in St. Petersburg FL and I have fallen head over heels for a fellow Pisces born 3/15/50 in Fayetteville NC. We get along great most of the time, but occasionally we really rub each other the wrong way. My man makes it clear that he doesn't want a serious relationship. He has been through some really horrible past as have I which tends to make both of us rather skittish of emotions. We have been involved for the last 7 months(although if you ask him he'd tell you he's not involved with anyone). He has always been a real Romeo, but hasn't been with anyone but me since this all started. Sorry to ramble so, I just want you to understand it all.
He and I had a falling out last week and I haven't heard from him since then. I have seen him a couple of times because he showed up at the same places where I was out with friends. I just need to know will we get past this rough spot? I really feel that I have finally found my soul mate, but he has such deep seated issues from his past relationships I don't know how to get through to him sometimes. I really care for this man and only want what's best for him. Of course I have to admit I think that's me. How do I get through to him? Will we get past this recent falling out? Should I make overtures to make things better or am I just fooling myself? Everything I have checked out on your site says we are compatible, but I am really at a loss as to how to proceed. I hate to backtrack but the comparison between you and your Pisces friend is only adequate. Now this does not mean that it can't work but it will take plenty of effort on both your part and his. You are both sensitive and tend to back away from issues that you don't feel comfortable discussing. I suggest that you rectify your problems quickly by talking it through before it gets blown out of proportion. It's obvious that he still cares or he wouldn't show up in places that you are likely to be. Your chart indicates that you are going through a make it or break it period in your relationship. It is important to decide if you want to be with him or not and make it so. Your chart also denotes that you will be in a high cycle for love and relationships next year so don't feel that this is your last chance for love. You have plenty to offer and will match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo and Capricorn as well as another Pisces. I must caution however that with the planets Jupiter and Saturn slowly moving into the sign Gemini over the next year you may find it difficult for you and your Pisces friend to agree.

Hi Eugenia!
Your site is great - so interesting. I thought the celebrity scopes were so insightful! I am asking mainly about creativity, career and money. I am pretty good at both creative writing and photography, but have never had the focus or confidence to follow through with either as a career - my parents and brother are all scientific based and I can still hear them say to just keep creativity as a hobby and get a real job. I have a degree, but having started work in the dead end world of retail, whilst trying to write a novel, this is now the only real experience I have. As a result I have no confidence in looking at a job that requires my qualifications as I imagine that the employer would wonder why I haven't been in this type of work for the ten years since I graduated! I am also concerned that even in the retail sector, where I do have the experience and thus the confidence, I shy away from applying for leader roles, or more interesting roles with higher wages!!!
I have been working on a book off and on for the last eight years, and although I have produced a considerable amount of quality work, it has turned into a nightmare project. It never seems to be good enough! Although a lot of friends have loved the writing and have urged me to finish it I have got to the point where I don't even know what it is about anymore. I have never sent anything off to a publisher. My creative writing teacher told me last year that my writing was breath-taking...still nothing. At the back of my mind I almost feel that the book has to contain the meaning of life or else it won't be worthwhile! aaaah!
Recently I put this project to one side and started thinking along totally different lines. I started plotting out a very lighthearted book and everything came together very well in the plan, but I found the actual writing hard to start. Am I on the right track with this? Does my chart indicate that I will never succeed!!!? Am I doomed to retail etc forever?
One last thing. My luck seems strongest with houses: I always find fantastic places to live in a very short time. I also move a lot. I was wondering if the creative stuff really is a non-starter, should I re-train in real estate? I was born December 7, 1970 at 9:30 PM.

Surprise surprise - I do not see you in retail that is for sure and don't know how you have survived in this position for so many years. I do however see you in several different areas, real estate being one, interior decorating another along with working for yourself out of your home in the creative field as well as teaching in order to help subsidize your bankbook while you get things off the ground.
It is unfortunate that both school counselors and parents stifle creative children to such a degree that they lack the confidence required to follow a dream. Fear of failure is embedded into children's brains at such a young age that it is a wonder we have any successful creative people on the planet at all.
If you don't follow your dream you will never find happiness. After all happiness is the prerequisite of doing what's right for you not to fulfill your parent's dreams. Do you have talent and the ability to be published - yes you do but not without the usual sacrifices and hard work required to pull it off. You should be sending your work out immediately as the area of your chart that deals with publishing is in a high cycle for the next couple of months. Yes the area of your chart that deals with publishing will periodically move through a high cycle throughout your life but as for the one you are currently experiencing it began at the end of last year and as you can see you only have a little time left to utilize it.
