I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend. We were supposed to get married but he kept putting it off. I found myself changing and decided not to wait anymore. Now I find myself lonesome and in need of company. I do not drink so bars are out of the question. How in this day and age does a grown woman ask men out on dates? I gave this one man a business card I made up with my e-mail, phone number and work number. (today) It felt so awkward. My question is ....is it in the stars that I will find someone to be with without feeling awkward and isolated?

I do not see you as being alone. What you have been experiencing over the past couple of years is the planet Saturn transiting through an area of your chart that causes a make it or break it period within your relationships. This particular aspect has now moved on and you should be in the clear to live, love and be happy. You will be coming into a high cycle later this year where love is concerned that will remain with you until the summer of next year. I feel that during this time you will be able to meet someone special. I just moved into a new place with my boyfriend but I'm not sure he's the one. Some days I convince myself that everything is okay then other days I wonder if I can handle all the issues he has with his ex wife, children and him not wanting anymore kids. (his b-day is: Jan 11/62 at 3am and mine August 26, 1964, at 6 am). We have been arguing so much more ever since we moved in and I'm ready to walk. Should I stay and give it a chance or is it best to leave now?

You and your partner match up very well astrologically. It's times like these that you discover how strong your character is as well as his. His chart indicates that he has difficult transits regarding divorce settlement, legal matters, financial agreements and so forth but this will continue to haunt him for the next two years and like it or not he does have to be responsible to his first family regardless of how his ex is responding. All that being said he should probably try to put a stop to any harassment that he may be subject to by coming to a suitable arrangement that both he his ex and his children stick to. Once that is done things at least have a chance to settle down. Your chart indicates that you are moving into a period of uncertainty and you must try to curb any desire to overreact or to make changes suddenly that you might regret later on. Regarding having children of your own you will be feeling the urge especially over the course of the next year and I do believe that the chance of getting pregnant is likely however it may not be the best thing to do when your relationship is going through so much turmoil. I have seen many comparisons that are good where the end result was separation. Right now your timing is bad and it likely that you will get fed up. You are both going through a fair amount of stress over the course of the next 18 months. To add to that if you should get pregnant, fly off the handle or get upset about things that are out of your control will not help matters. This is a relationship worth nurturing but with the transits you both are experiencing I have my doubts that you will make it. Should you decide to walk, and you probably will, I believe that you will meet someone new before year-end. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. Article: The Cycle of Fertility

Dear Eugenia,

Greetings and Blessings, My name is Jennifer and I'm new to Astro Advice. While surfing around on the wonderful web site I came across the "Dear Eugenia" link. I was curious as to what wonders it might hold and so, here I am. The reason for me writing to you is because of a very depressing and unfruitful matter in my life right now. You see, my other half and I have been trying to conceive for almost two years now and to our amazement no results have prevailed. This is often a very saddening experience month after month and we are at the point now where we just feel we should give up. We have tried every option under the sun that has been recommended to us such as; me lying in bed for up to 30 minutes after sex, taking baby asprin to thin out my blood and promote better circulation, taking 2 tbsp. of Robitussin Cough Syrup to thin out cervical mucus, drinking red-raspberry tea and various others. Everything has left us down right exhausted. I'm beginning to lose all hope in this matter and I feel as though I'm not meant to have children. It appears as though God doesn't want me to give the gift of life and bring a child into this world. At several times I thought I was pregnant but, a false- positive pregnancy test proved wrong. To be truthful... this issue is starting to take it's toll on the relationship the more and more the months go by. It appears that these troubles are causing me to push away from my other half and he in turn is beginning to get more and more frustrated and depressed as well. My birth date is December 11, 1978---- 9:00 AM and my other half's is March 17,1980---- unfortunately I am unsure of his time of birth.
