For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend. We were supposed to get married but he kept putting it off. I found myself changing and decided not to wait anymore. Now I find myself lonesome and in need of company. I do not drink so bars are out of the question. How in this day and age does a grown woman ask men out on dates? I gave this one man a business card I made up with my e-mail, phone number and work number. (today) It felt so awkward. My question is ....is it in the stars that I will find someone to be with without feeling awkward and isolated?

I do not see you as being alone. What you have been experiencing over the past couple of years is the planet Saturn transiting through an area of your chart that causes a make it or break it period within your relationships. This particular aspect has now moved on and you should be in the clear to live, love and be happy. You will be coming into a high cycle later this year where love is concerned that will remain with you until the summer of next year. I feel that during this time you will be able to meet someone special. The best place for you to meet someone will be while on either a business or pleasure trip, while taking interest courses or attending a seminar or convention or while working or volunteering for a group that you believe in. If you have a top quality business or financial newspaper in your vicinity you should check out the personal ads. I have been dating this guy name Rickey for almost 3 years. We started out seeing each other on Friday and Saturday nights sometimes during the week. He has 2 kids and a sick mother that he has to take care of and a job that he has long hours and for the past year we have only seen each other on Fridays when he did not have to work late. I just want to spend more time with him and see if what we have is true and if he really has feelings for me or just using me. His birth date is Jan. 1, 1962 my birthday is April 2, 1950 what do you see for us please help me should I hang in there or just be friends.

The comparison was not all that great. There was definitely some deception involved regarding his status, direction in life and future goals. I believe that if either one of you were really interested something would have happened by now. If you really wanted to spend more time with him over the past three years you would have been offering to help him with his children as well as with his mother. If you did offer and he denied you the right to pitch in and help I would take that as an indication that he doesn't really want you in his life. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle for love and romance beginning in the spring of next year and that you should prepare yourself by getting out of this situation and joining organizations that offer opportunities to meet new people who have similar interests. You can easily remain friends with him but you should probably consider cutting out the intimate aspect of your relationship. You should be putting your efforts into your professional accomplishments over the course of the next two years in order to take advantage of the opportunities that are coming your way in this area of your life.

I was hoping you could answer two questions regarding my natal chart.
First question:
I was born on the 26th of October, so I am told that means I was born on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio. Does that mean that I have qualities of both equally, or do I possess both Libra and Scorpio qualities, but since my birth date actually falls into Scorpio, am I Scorpio with Libra tendencies.
Second question:
My sun sign falls into the 12th house, but only 2 degrees from my first house. Should I read sun/12th house exclusively, combinations of sun/12/1 or since it is less than 10 degrees away, consider my sun/1st house exclusively.

Your birth time should include DST. If you haven't taken the hour off you should, making your time 6:20 AM. With that in mind you actually have Scorpio rising with your Sun, Mercury and Neptune in Scorpio in your 1st house and Libra in your 12th well hidden. However if you had taken the hour off, allowing for DST (therefore you were actually born at 8:20 AM) your Sun would be in your 12th house with Scorpio rising and both Mercury and Neptune in Scorpio still making the Scorpio influence the strongest. You would however read your Sun as being in the 12th and your rising sign Scorpio with your Mercury in the first in Scorpio and your Neptune in the first in Scorpio. No matter how you slice it your chart does not indicate much of a Libra influence however the sign Virgo is with your natal Venus, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto situated in that sign.
