I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend. We were supposed to get married but he kept putting it off. I found myself changing and decided not to wait anymore. Now I find myself lonesome and in need of company. I do not drink so bars are out of the question. How in this day and age does a grown woman ask men out on dates? I gave this one man a business card I made up with my e-mail, phone number and work number. (today) It felt so awkward. My question is ....is it in the stars that I will find someone to be with without feeling awkward and isolated?

I do not see you as being alone. What you have been experiencing over the past couple of years is the planet Saturn transiting through an area of your chart that causes a make it or break it period within your relationships. This particular aspect has now moved on and you should be in the clear to live, love and be happy. You will be coming into a high cycle later this year where love is concerned that will remain with you until the summer of next year. I feel that during this time you will be able to meet someone special. The best place for you to meet someone will be while on either a business or pleasure trip, while taking interest courses or attending a seminar or convention or while working or volunteering for a group that you believe in. If you have a top quality business or financial newspaper in your vicinity you should check out the personal ads. Your temper may be quick but that doesn't mean that it isn't warranted. I believe that where your work is concerned you probably have a valid grievance due to the fact that transiting Saturn has been moving across the top of your chart adversely positioned to your natal Pluto. This can cause you to react quickly and harshly to wrongful treatment. You also have transiting Neptune confusing you about your position and your future goals. Unfortunately this transit will be with you well into next year. On the down side it can also cause the people you work for and with to be evasive, untrustworthy and deceptive. On the up side you should find that you are highly creative, can come up with great ideas and that you can contribute if you want to. I believe that if you sit it out or decide to make a professional change things will improve as your chart is moving into better times. As long as you are aware that others will not be looking out for your best interests and you keep your ideas to yourself until you are ready to present them you will do just fine.

I grew up alone and lonely, but didn't mind, as it was all I knew. After 18 yrs of a (almost) happy marriage he left and again I have been alone for 18 yrs. I could have gotten married twice, but they both smothered me and wanted to just follow me around all the time. I raised one kid who is an attorney. Everyone thinks I am a happy, fun person, but really I am so tired of battling life alone. Will this ever change? I listen to co-workers who have families or husbands to cook for and I envy them so much. Also financially I just hang on and worry about a roof over my head and food on the table. I refuse to be a burden to my kid. Will this ever change?

You will have the opportunities to change things and the timing will be right but it won't happen unless you take the initiative and do something about your situation. Even as I write to you, your chart indicates that favorable transits have begun in an area that deals with work and money. If you aren't being paid enough for your services consider picking up extra work on the side or starting your own small business on the side. The possibility of a raise or moving to a better position is also available to you. I believe that if you can put some cash aside that your son can probably help you invest it ins something that will make money for you over the course of the next year and a half. Regarding love that too is moving into a high cycle this fall and will remain with you for the next year. You must however get out and meet people.
