You should be working towards buying your first home now. Start saving your money and checking out some of the deals that builders are offering. It is apparent that between the summer of next year until the spring of 2004 you should be able to make a move in that direction but please don't wait until that time to start saving and looking. You may just find that your mortgage will be as cheap as your rent. You are in a high cycle regarding your work until mid to late August and it is important to consider making a professional move or ask for a promotion between now and then if you want to try to up your income. This is also the time to consider changing career direction if you aren't happy with your current position. Regarding marriage you have been going through a dry spell during your Saturn return and although you feel as if you should be settling down you still have plenty of time. You will be in a much better position regarding love in 2004. Now that doesn't mean that you won't meet someone before that time but that is when the relationship can become more serious in nature. Article: Family Problem

Dear Eugenia,

I am writing to you about a family problem. My sister and I are the primary caretakers of our mother. My mother is disabled and has a variety of health problems. Her birthday is 8/30/1941 @ 4:30 p.m.

My problem is that ever since I was a young child we have had severe disagreements, fighting, etc. My birthday is 8/5/1975 @ 11:30 p.m. I try to be patient and understanding but our bad feelings have just grown worse with time. The pain and hurt is just getting to be too much. Please give me some advice on how I can deal with her more effectively and what I should keep in mind to have any kind of good relationship at all.

Although there is a small problem that shows up in your comparison that deals with honest communication regarding the way you both feel the overall picture doesn't appear to be that horrid. Yes you can argue and yes you are very different from one another but that doesn't mean that you can't get along. Your mother needs a bit of a wakeup call. She is a very strong Virgo and I believe that she can be a perfectionist. If that is the case nothing you ever do will be good enough or right. You must sit her down and tell her that you cannot live with or under those conditions. That you are trying to help her and if she won't allow you the decency to carry on as you please that you and your sister will have to find someone else to take care of her. Your mother is going through a very debilitating period over the course of the next two years and I believe that she is severely depressed. She recently experienced her second Saturn return and I believe that she has reevaluated her life and has decided that she isn't too happy with the way it unfolded. The fact that she is lashing out at you because of her own regrets is a shame but she is your mother and what she needs is honesty, love and to be put in her place.

Article: Emotionally Starved

Dear Eugenia,

This is the second time I write to you. Your reply is very important to me. Please take some time to help me. You may save one life and I'll be very grateful.

I feel bad every day. My eyes have some problems. The doctor said that I had to take medicine for the rest of my life or I will become blind one day. I am really afraid that that day would come. I don't want to be fed by my parents for my whole life but I don't have any skills for living. I am still studying in school. I always thought that if I were blind, the things I learn from school would be meaningless to me. In order not to make my parents worry, I always pretend that I am all right. In fact, deep in my heart, I am sad and even thought of committing suicide. I know my parents only love their son and do not really care for me. Since I was a child, I have felt lonely and keep all the tears to myself.

Recently, I have been interested in a newly emerged religion, which gives me the courage to face my future. But this religion is not widely accepted, at least, my parents object to it. I also wonder whether it is cheating people or not. I didn't have any good friends in the past and don't even have a friend now. I don't know what to do. I sometimes think that there is no difference whether I am here or not. No one cares about me. I don't want to carry on my life like that. I want some changes or breakthrough. I do see some chronic health problems in your chart however it is apparent that poor diagnosis may also be present and if this is the case I urge you to get a second opinion. I believe that at this particular time you should be careful regarding your religious choices as it is evident that the group that you are dealing with does have some underhanded business or hidden agenda going on. If you believe in the concept that this group is preaching and you feel that it is benefiting you that's great however don't be too quick to give financially. A good religious group will only ask its members to donate what they can rightfully afford. Although your chart does indicate that you are emotionally starved it is not the case that your parents don't love you. I believe that you have difficulty showing your emotions and that you tend to keep a great deal to yourself. If you don't share your feelings and thoughts with your parents you can't expect them to read your mind. It's time to open up and let them know how you feel.
