I'm not sure if this message qualifies for submission, but here is my question. My boyfriend is a Capricorn and I am an Aries, which do not match according to Zodiac signs. But when I complete the romance compatibility we match 99%. So which is right? My birthday is 4/8/70 2pm, His is 1/8/65 don't know time. We don't suffer from the problems stated under a Zodiac match, Aries spending too much and Capricorn being frugal, in fact it is opposite for us. I just want to understand how the zodiac and charts differ so much.

I'm not the least bit surprised that you match up to your Capricorn partner nor that you have some role reversals regarding frugality. I am in a perplexing situation. I was born on February 27, 1958 at 12:01 p.m. My husband of 24 years was born on January 31, 1957. He is a good man and a good supporter. We have had our share of problems in the past. We have 3 great children. My problem is that I am wondering if my hubby is keeping a "secret" from me. He is self-employed, and buys and sells cars. He has a pager and is always being paged even on Sundays. I once looked at his pager and there were numbers entered after the phone numbers and when I asked him about it, he said he never saw them. Now when I look, there is no longer any numbers added. He also loves to gamble, and when I ask how much he spent, or won, there is great hesitation before he answers. It is like I am prying or something. I have a great "gut" feeling that something is off, but I do not know what or why. This is driving me nutty. Any feeling on this subject?

I believe you are on to something however it will be important that you handle this situation with kid gloves. Your comparison does indicate some sorrow revolving around gambling, children, investments, business, overspending, excessive behavior and so on. I believe that he has been going through temptations and a difficult period for the past few years while transiting Neptune has adversely hit his chart. If you try to get him to talk about what's in fact going on he is likely to shut down getting you nowhere fast. You may find it easier to approach him after the middle of July when he will be in a better position to deal with these matters. I wouldn't be too worried however, it is apparent by his chart that he usually lands on his feet.

Dear Eugenia:I have been a good friend to a male, born -----------------. for a number of years. There are no romantic feelings between the two of us, but we do enjoy talking to each other. In the past two years he has been dating a young woman, born ----------------- Since they began dating, his behavior has become erratic. He lies, or tells people just what they want to hear, doesn't keep appointments, ignores his family and friends, and obsesses about being with her. Now they are engaged, and those of us who know them want to feel happy for them, but there isn't anyone in his circle of family or friends that is happy. She is very aloof, and tends to control him and everyone else around her. Can you give us some guidance? Their behavior, together and separate, is making life miserable on a lot of people and messing up events and gatherings to the point that no one wants them around any more. Although the two in question just have a so so comparison it is workable. The biggest problem appears to be when dealing with friends and relatives. I'm not saying that the marriage or relationship will last, but I am saying that there is nothing that you or anyone else can do about it. Your Libra friend has fallen in love and if you fight it he will not be your friend. He is in a high cycle where love and marriage is concerned therefore this has come into his life at the right moment for him. In her case, she is somewhat erratic and probably not quite as sure about her future with him as he is with his future with her. You are best to let him follow his course of action and support his decision. If you and his other friends feel so strongly that you are willing to lose the connection with him I suggest that you tell him your true feelings about this girl and let him decide what he will do. Maybe if you understand what it is that she does for him you will be able to accept her.
