I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have just been introduced to this site and I wanted to know if you could embellish on a certain aspect of most predictions made about me. I was born on March 19, 1986, at 12 PM and have always been told that I'm extremely ambitious, which I am. But, I was also told I could mess up my dreams by losing focus. Your natal chart indicates that the only way you would mess it up is if you let either business or personal relationships fog your mind. If you let your heart rule your head when it comes to professional direction or success you will lose focus and therefore not achieve as much. I believe that you can also have a problem when it comes to getting along with some of your colleagues and that you will have to watch your back when you are in a competitive situation. You will always do best in an authoritative position and will find it difficult to work within the confines of an organization that controls how far you can go. Be creative and work hard and you will probably end up working for yourself and being quite successful, happy and satisfied.

Dear Ms. Eugenia:
I would like an idea of how soon my troubles will last. On August 30, my husband was shot in an attempted mugging. He now has a bullet logged in his back. Fortunately, the bullet did not hit any vital organs, however it does rest less than an inch from his spine. Needless to say, it has caused much anxiety and stress. During his recovery, it was up to me to keep up on all household expenses. Doing everything on one income caused many bills to be put on hold. Hence, late charges, penalties etc. etc. And of course, more stress.
At the end of this month (October) I knew I would finally be "caught up" with all of those bills. My husband has recovered nicely (even though the bullet remains) and I was thanking the higher powers that all was soon to be well once again - until, two days ago, my oldest daughter informed me of a date rape that had also taken place on August 30. Due to the incident mentioned above, she didn't tell me immediately because she saw how the other things were affecting me (she and I are very close). Unfortunately, the rape has led to a pregnancy, soon to be terminated. She is only 15 years old. My doctor had to prescribe a sedative to keep me sane (something I have never, ever had to do before). It is stressing me to no end to think what she is about to go through, hence the sedative. My only question is, based on the position at the time of my birth August 20, 1968, at 3:00 PM can you please give me some idea of how much longer this "negative" cycle will last?

Your chart indicates stability between now and the end of April therefore you must pull yourself together and do what must be done. Being positive and supportive for your husband and daughter is required for a bit longer. The work and money area of your chart is moving into a favorable cycle. It is important for you to put your efforts there so that you can maintain a normal standard of living as well as keep your mind off some of the things that are stressing you out. If you have too much time on your hands to think about what you and your family have been through you are likely to continue to be depressed as well as suffer from emotional problems. My long-term question is that electronic astrology programs mention that I have latent undiscovered psychic or spiritual abilities. My AstroAdvice Natal Analysis says, "You can use your psychic abilities to get ahead in the world" and rates it 90%. I heard a suggestion that meditation can awaken this ability which could improve my environment and let me help myself as well as others. My interest in this subject is mainly spiritual as I have strong interests in improving myself spiritually. In your opinion and from your experience, how may I do so?My medium term question is my choice of career. Would my choice of career affect psychic or spiritual development (above question)? I wish to pursue electrical engineering.
My short-term question is that on 13th July 2000 and 18th July 2000 I suffered two minor accidents, the latter being one involving a motor vehicle. Is the time right for me to be on the road driving a motor vehicle? I was born June 17, 1980, at 2:54 PM.

Your chart does indicate Psychic ability however it appears to be in an area that deals with your well being and investments. Regarding helping you in your professional pursuits I think you have a natural ability to excel. You should do well in your chosen field and although you will have to work hard over the next couple of years you should find that between 2002 and 2008 you will have all kinds of opportunities to get ahead. I do not believe that your professional obligations will stand in the way of your spiritual or psychic growth. You should find that you will begin to expand your awareness in psychic areas next summer and this will set your spiritual course for years to come. Just because someone does well in business or has a career that is analytical does not mean that he or she cannot reach as high a spiritual or psychic level. You may want to take an interest course next year that will help you develop your intuitive abilities even further. Concerning your accidents I feel it was due to transiting Mars conjunct your natal Mercury in a transportation area of your chart. This particular transit can also cause arguments with friends or relatives, problems while traveling or difficulties with teachers. Although it has moved on for the time being it is something that can occur from time to time.
