I'm a 21-year old gay male living in New Mexico. I have been addicted to substances (alcohol, etc.) since I was a teenager. I can't shake them and can't seem to imagine a life without them. Lets address your past relationship first. You did match up in a number of ways but emotionally it was taxing to say the least. I believe that this was a karmic connection and that is why it is so hard to let it go. That being said it is probably time to stop reliving something that is already dealt with and finished. You are going through a period in your chart that is making you think about people from your past but that doesn't mean that you should be trying to back track.
