For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a 21-year old gay male living in New Mexico. I have been addicted to substances (alcohol, etc.) since I was a teenager. I can't shake them and can't seem to imagine a life without them. They are getting in the way of possible love interests because if I had a partner, they would need to be patient with the substances. As it is, I cling to phone sex and pornography to continue the escapism. I'm not complaining about my life. I've learned to live with it. But is there something in my chart that would explain my problem? That's all I need to know right now. If you could be so kind as to maybe help me explore this, I would be eternally grateful. I believe that you are coming to a turning point in your life over the course of the next couple of years while transiting Saturn moves through the sign Gemini. This will cause some depression, some physical limitations and could even lead you to a rehab center or institutional type environment. I believe that you can turn things around if you want but I fear that you will have to hit rock bottom before that happens. I follow your show and read your astrological predictions each day. My husband left me cold turkey for another lady last June 2002 although we had been living apart since last January 2002. We had talked about getting back together so needless to say I was totally devastated. He is a Taurus, May 14, 1962, time not known. Since that time I have had many readings done and each one seems different. Almost all say that he will be back, the latest one saying possibly in the Spring of 2003. I read that a person's astrological sign changes every four minutes. If this is so, how do astrologers read your horoscope and why are they so varied. Please answer, as I would really like to know what will become of our marriage. I have now filed for divorce but I still love him very much. Is there still a chance for us? I was born March 10, 1951, at 10 am.

It isn't that a persons sign changes every four minutes it is that the planets are in constant motion therefore if your birth time is off by more than four minutes it could make a difference to the outcome of your natal chart. You have a very good comparison with your ex however you didn't submit when his lady friend was born therefore I don't know if she matches up just as well or better. Based on the information that you gave me I feel that if there is going to be a reunion between the two of you it will be between May 27th and July 20th. These things don't just happen however. Number one I would not be proceeding with the divorce given the fact that you aren't sure that you want the relationship to end. Instead I would be opening up communication with this man to find out exactly where he is at and what he wants. Your ex has been going through a very confusing period and I believe that the past two and a half years he has been depressed and unable to make good choices. Don't totally through away what you have built as a couple by jumping into divorce. Slow down and find out what's left before you move in that direction. If it doesn't work out between you your chart does indicate other suitors so keep your eyes open for someone who can fill the void that you are feeling. Either way I do not see you as being alone.

First off I want to state that I really enjoy this web site. It's full of information, and best of all it's FREE!!! So, Thanks.Secondly, In the past year I (July 21, 1979, at 4:5; 7 PM) have had a few boyfriends (I use this word lightly) all of whom I have pushed away due to an ever persistent, lingering, thought of my ex (April 5, 1979). We have been apart over a year and even though he has moved on I can't seem to, my heart won't let me. So I continually push away every other guy that comes my way, because really, how fair is it to be with them in mind but not in heart. Things are not made any easier by this recurring dream I have that he is coming back. Though I do realize that I am not the same person I was when I knew him and in turn I am sure he is not the same person that I knew either, I can't seem to forget him. I've tried, but everything seems to remind me of him and "our time". I even went to a professional Tarot card reader and before I could even get comfortable she was telling me what he looked like (even his height), how he acted, and about our relationship together.I went to see her right after our breakup to get a grasp on what was ahead of me, but all she could talk about was how he would be coming back and that things would be better this time. Well, It's been over a year since that reading and he is nowhere in sight, but what I want to know is how do I move on? Sometimes I think I'm ready, then I'll run into him somewhere and pretend not to see him, because the thought of us having idle, meaningless conversation just kills me. The comparison with your Aries lover was really quite good. I believe that there is a future with him if you can only get past being afraid to talk to him. Although the timing isn't quite right I do believe that toward the last half of 2001 and the first half of 2002 you may find yourself in a relationship with him once again. For now you should try to form a friendship. Talk to him, enjoy his company when you do see him and see where it leads. You should also continue to try to meet other partners because your Aries friend isn't the only one who will match up well to you. Your chart indicates that you will be in a high cycle for love over the next few years and it is important to get out enjoy yourself.
