For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a 21-year old gay male living in New Mexico. I have been addicted to substances (alcohol, etc.) since I was a teenager. I can't shake them and can't seem to imagine a life without them. They are getting in the way of possible love interests because if I had a partner, they would need to be patient with the substances. As it is, I cling to phone sex and pornography to continue the escapism. I'm not complaining about my life. I've learned to live with it. But is there something in my chart that would explain my problem? That's all I need to know right now. If you could be so kind as to maybe help me explore this, I would be eternally grateful. You were born with your natal Neptune opposite your natal Venus across your sixth and twelfth. This is considered to be sorrowful, addictive, escapist and so forth. I believe that you are coming to a turning point in your life over the course of the next couple of years while transiting Saturn moves through the sign Gemini. This will cause some depression, some physical limitations and could even lead you to a rehab center or institutional type environment. I believe that you can turn things around if you want but I fear that you will have to hit rock bottom before that happens. I would like to thank you for taking to time to read this. I'm a 21-year-old male born February 16, 1982, at 1 AM and life just is not getting better for me. I have been on my own since I was 16 and alone ever since then. I busted my ass in high school and finished with a 3.5 GPA on my own while working a full time job. I have been out of school for 2 years now and I haven't had a job since Oct. I wake up ever day and look for a job and nothing yet. I'm also in a band and it's going ok but very slow. I would like to know if any thing good is going to happen for me. Will I find a good job, will my band take off, and will I find some one to spend my life with, please tell me any thing you can. Things have been tough but you've worked hard and it will pay off. Regarding your band you should be walking the pavement, making calls, sending out demo's etc between now and June. There is a transit going through your chart that should bring you help as well as favors. Partnerships also look good and that can be regarding both business and personal between now and then. The job prospects start to get much better over the summer months and will continue to do so until late next year. Now that doesn't mean that you can't find something before that time but that you should advance over the course of the next eighteen months. Your chart still shows educational pursuits with the intent of raising your earning potential so don't rule out taking a course that interests you. You have an entrepreneurial chart and that means that you can do your own thing and run your own business. If something interests you that you can offer others do so now. That way you will choose your own hours leaving yourself open to pursue music. You are talented but you hold yourself back by not believing that you have what it takes. I have an on going struggle with what I should do about my relationship with the man in my life. He is a Leo 1937. I was born February 8, 1946 at 10:16 AM. Here is the problem. We can get along so beautifully and then I do, or say something to upset him. It appears my independence and detachment, upsets him. I try to reassure him that I love him, but I often feel he wants more of me than I can give. He wants to be first and most important in my life. Sharing me with friends is taboo to him. This makes me feel pulled between him and my other pursuits in my life. How can I get around all this? I truly love him, but there is a part of me that I can't control. I MUST have my independence. You neglected to give me specifics regarding your Leo partner however you did include his year of birth so I can assume that his natal Neptune doesn't play too much havoc with your natal chart. Being polar opposites I can definitely see the attraction. With your strong Aquarius traits you would need a certain amount of freedom to come and go as you please in order to be happy. If he can't allow you this freedom you may have to move on. You are coming into a high cycle during the second half of this year and the first half of next year that will help you where love and romance is concerned. It should allow you to meet someone who may be more in tune to the lifestyle you require and who you can relate to better regarding such matters. If you do decide to stay with your Leo friend this period can also be a favorable time to tell how you feel and that he has to allow you to see your friends and to do the things that you enjoy or you will move on and leave him behind. Unfortunately he appears to be possessive and this is something that will always stand between you if he can't come to terms with it. It is also apparent in your chart that you do attract the type of man who does want to possess you and control you. Therefore you must be very careful who you choose and how you set the standard for your relationship.
