Hi Eugenia,

I'm a 21-year old gay male living in New Mexico. I have been addicted to substances (alcohol, etc.) since I was a teenager. I can't shake them and can't seem to imagine a life without them. They are getting in the way of possible love interests because if I had a partner, they would need to be patient with the substances. As it is, I cling to phone sex and pornography to continue the escapism. I'm not complaining about my life. I've learned to live with it. But is there something in my chart that would explain my problem? That's all I need to know right now. If you could be so kind as to maybe help me explore this, I would be eternally grateful. This is my third time sending you e-mail with the same content and I'm very sorry if it bothers you. Twice I had also sent you letters in the past, years ago. In those letters, you mentioned that I was more of a late bloomer regarding my sexuality and you advised me to experiment a little. For the years have changed, my vision towards my sexuality have also changed, I no longer consider homosexuality as my enemy, I consider it as a part of me and I began to accept this. Years ago, I mentioned my birth date wrongly, later I found out that I was born on the next day which was August 20, 1981 rather than August 19,1981. I was born at 2:00 AM. Would it have a major impact of your analysis if the birth date were wrong? And could you tell me something about my sexuality? Also, I've met this guy from the net, I've also met him face to face and I believe that he's one good guy. I think I'm in love with him. He's younger than me he was born on November 19, 1985. On the last letter, I told you that he already has a boyfriend. Surprisingly he broke up with his bf few days ago because his parents found out that he's gay. I still don't know the whole story. Though I feel sad for him, but I think this is the best shot I have to take to be his bf (not in the nearest time). If so, he would be my first love (I haven't had any bf or gf before and it's so saaadddd). Later today, a fortune teller told me that he might deceive me though I feel that he might not, she also told me that I could still change my sexuality (and again, I feel that I really can't). I remember your original e-mail and yes it does make a difference being born on the 20th instead of the 19th. It confirms that what was a possibility regarding your sexuality is in fact reality. Your chart does indicate more homosexuality. Regarding your boyfriend I do believe that you match up enough to have a relationship however sorrow is evident so I can't say that I feel it will be a lasting union. I do feel that it will be a very important learning experience for both of you and therefore think that you should proceed. Right now he probably needs your support regarding his sexuality. Open the doors of communication and help him through his uncertainty and obvious upset that is happening in his parental household. He could go through a period where his past boyfriend tries to come back into his life so be prepared. He is also a bit conceited so don't get swept up into his world. Be yourself and refuse to become a chameleon. By late summer early fall of next year it will be a much better time for you to move into high gear regarding finding the right partner. If your current friend happens to stick around it could be him but if things unfold in such a way that the sorrow prevails keep your eyes open for someone more suitable at that time.

Article: A Broken Heart Seeks Advice

Hi there Eugenia,

My birth date is July 15, 1979, at 3:15 PM. I've been involved in a gay relationship with another guy (Birth date: 03 June 1977 05:15 PM) for the last 3 months. When we started our relationship he was living with his ex and he said it was a "living arrangement"...I believed him. Anyway during our relationship he would rarely visit me (we stay in different cities) and behave oddly if I ran into him in a public place with his ex around. Eventually he came clean with me (his friends forced him to tell the truth) and it turned out that he'd been having a relationship with the "ex" at the same time as me, and recently started seeing yet another guy. After all of this and around 2 weeks of deciding what to do, I called him and we broke it off. Leaving me very hurt and confused...He still says that he loves me and everything we had was real, but I'm at a loss to describe the pain this has caused me. Especially since him and the new guy are now fully in a relationship. I'd really like some advice on this situation, and if I should be foolish enough to still hope that one day we will get back together...

You met your messiah, in other words you met someone who captured your heart and you had no power to pry yourself from him. The comparison was so powerful between you. This Gemini is just as bad for you as he is good. You can't however allow yourself to be played with this way. It isn't good for your self-esteem. You are too proud to forgive and you shouldn't forget. Playing sexual games can be dangerous and it's obvious that your Gemini friend doesn't care enough about any of his partners to be open and honest about his goings on. Unfortunately he probably will slip in and out of your life until you put a stop to it. I strongly suggest that you put up your guard and move on. You will be coming into a transit over the summer as well as during the first half of next year that does indicate that people from your past will want back into your life.
