For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I'm a 21-year old gay male living in New Mexico. I have been addicted to substances (alcohol, etc.) since I was a teenager. I can't shake them and can't seem to imagine a life without them. They are getting in the way of possible love interests because if I had a partner, they would need to be patient with the substances. As it is, I cling to phone sex and pornography to continue the escapism. I'm not complaining about my life. I've learned to live with it. But is there something in my chart that would explain my problem? That's all I need to know right now. If you could be so kind as to maybe help me explore this, I would be eternally grateful. Although I have been out of the dating scene for some time, I'm ready to get back in. As has happened in the past, a much younger man has expressed an interest in me. I am quite attracted to him, but I found myself so wrapped up in uncertainty about his motives (I just couldn't believe he was interested in someone my age)that I overanalyzed the situation and ended up not even being able to be hospitable the one time we got together (at least in hindsight I think I wasn't). We do see each other for professional reasons quite regularly and I've managed, at least in that arena, to keep things light and friendly. Is it possible he is actually interested? Your chart indicates that although you do have some financial problems you should be able to clear your debt between now and March of next year if you are determined to do without everything but the bare necessities. You should be looking for a better job between now and the middle of February. Do not quit your current job until you have been hired to take on a better position. You would do well as a computer analyst, teacher, accountant, or medical researcher. You may need to pick up additional education in order to follow such careers however if this is the case you should do so through correspondence or night school. Regarding love you will be in a high cycle from November until March. It is important not to miss opportunities just because you don't think that you can afford the expense of a relationship. If you fall in love with someone the money shouldn't matter. If you have enough faith in your partner and in your relationship you will work together in order to build a brighter future. If you continue to hold off getting into a relationship or marriage until you feel that you have enough cash you may be alone the rest of your life. It is quite common for those born under your sign to feel that you must be well off before you step into matrimony and this is why so many Virgo's marry later in life. I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing but if someone comes into your life that you really love you may have to opt to forego your need to have riches first.
