I think I have too many burdens in my life. I'm a 20 yr old male. As I failed in all my exams and could not enter any college, all of my best friends left me. I didn't have many friends to begin with, but focused on developing a deep friendship with just one or two.However, they left me. You can imagine how depressed I am. Anyway, I was really quiet as if I was hiding in a cave for a year. And then, this year, 2001, I went to an art college but I found it difficult to make new friends while I was there. I couldn't find anyone who could share with me. Besides, I lost hope in music and in my ability to do well in the courses I was studying. I feel so depressed... I think things won't get better if I don't make changes to myself. However, it's hard to change and improve if I don't know where to start. Eugenia, please give me your advice. I was born August 30, 1981, at 5:30 AM.

I believe that part of your problem is that you are focusing on the wrong things right now. Your chart indicates that you should be in the work force learning on the job or through an apprenticeship. The area of your chart that deals with work and money looks quite good as does getting recognition for what you do. If your interest in music happens to lead to playing in a band or singing or something of that nature you may want to get a job and start to push your own musical talent during your off hours. You are in a high cycle over the course of the next couple of years regarding getting ahead and following your dreams, hopes and wishes. Although it is always good to get an education not everyone is a good student. That doesn't mean however that you can't do well and excel at something that you love to do. Regarding friends and lovers you have to be patient. Many of your friends have moved in a different direction but there is some opportunity around you regarding making new friends. The possibility of meeting someone special is also apparent however both friendships and emotional relationships appear to be made at or through work. Article: Nothing Going Right

Dear Ms. Last,

This is not the first time I have written you, but I do understand that you have received an incredible amount of mail. I would like some astrological advice on your part. First, I was born March 21, 1972 at 12.50 am. In 1997, I decided to return to college and do my Masters Degree. I am currently writing the thesis and it feels never ending. I suffered from a depression last year with suicidal tendencies, although I did not go through with my actions. I have gotten help, but I've the feeling the cycle is not over. Recently, my car was crashed into and declared a total loss by the insurance company. I cannot afford a new one, as my debt is already quite large. I lost my reading glasses yesterday and don't know how I will afford a new pair. I do work, however the stress of my job has compounded as I have become my boss's "go to" person, even though I am only a part time office clerk and he has at least 5 full time girls on staff. I have started crying a lot again, and tend to be depressed and oh so overwhelmed. I feel I will never finish my thesis that is due in the fall, after 2 extensions. I try to remember the reasons I decided to return to school, but at present, I do not see the positive aspect.

In addition (like it had to get worse) I have been single a long time, and I am falling in love with my boss. We don't mention it, but we spend a lot of time together, and he's married. I know he is confused in his marriage. He was born December 8, 1959. Hence, my question is, will things get easier for me? I read my astrology regularly on your site, but I still feel I need to know that I have made the right decision, because at present, nothing seems right.

You have just been hit by your Saturn return. This is not only depressing but it makes you reevaluate everything that you have done up until this point of your life. Don't worry; some people have it sit with them for a long period of time. In your case it will only be there for another couple of weeks. Now that doesn't mean that it will be smooth sailing for you. Life doesn't work that way, but you should be able to start focusing on the more positive aspects of your life. The work and money area of your chart is in a high cycle and that means that you could probably find a new job that would be less stressful. You may have a thing for your boss but it probably isn't healthy for you to have to put up with him using you as his "go to" person and whatever else you allow him to use you for. You should be experiencing opportunities to meet someone new, preferably someone who isn't already attached. Regarding your thesis I suggest that you get working on it and get it out of the way once and for all. By the middle of the summer you are not going to want to do it. Later this year and well into next year you will be in a high cycle regarding romance again so you won't want to be sitting at home working trying to get your thesis out of the way. It's time to take control and set your game plan. Look for a new job, get the thesis out of the way and keep yourself available for potential relationships. Article: A New Direction

Hi Eugenia

I participated in the Seoul Forum and I was fortunate enough to shake hands with you. You seemed a bit tired that day, I hope you are fine now....

I didn't have a chance to ask you about my problem. Although it is a bit late, I think now is the chance, so I'm writing to you. I'm working in a company right now, but I'm thinking of changing my career because I don't think this is the right direction for me. I'm thinking of starting to do counseling in hypnotized psychology. I'm learning bit by bit and I've been counseling the people I know. They all said it was interesting and it was helpful. Thus, I'm satisfied with it. I feel like this is my calling. I don't know whether it will bring me a better future or not...Or should I still continue to work in a company? Please let me know whether this is the right way or not. I was born December 12, 1972, at 8:30 AM. When you return to Seoul in February I hope to give you a hypnotized counseling session.

I'm glad you attended the forum and yes I was tired from the rigorous schedule that I had been on for the past couple of weeks. Regarding your question, I do believe that you have chosen a direction that is good for you. Your chart indicates that you have considerable talent in this area of work and that you are in a high learning cycle regarding such work for the better part of the next year. The area of your chart that deals with work and money is coming into a particularly high cycle beginning in April and I feel that you should be able to build on your business from that point on. I must tell you however that building up your clientele does not happen over night and that you may want to continue working for the company you are with until you feel confident that you are making enough doing your hypnotic counseling. When I first started taking on clients many years ago I worked for a company doing a job that didn't really interest me while I built my business. It meant working long hours but it was well worth the effort to finally be able to do the work that I love to do. Hang in there and I do believe that you will achieve the success that you're looking for over the course of the next five years.
