I think I have too many burdens in my life. I'm a 20 yr old male. As I failed in all my exams and could not enter any college, all of my best friends left me. I didn't have many friends to begin with, but focused on developing a deep friendship with just one or two.However, they left me. You can imagine how depressed I am. Anyway, I was really quiet as if I was hiding in a cave for a year. And then, this year, 2001, I went to an art college but I found it difficult to make new friends while I was there. I couldn't find anyone who could share with me. Besides, I lost hope in music and in my ability to do well in the courses I was studying. I feel so depressed... I think things won't get better if I don't make changes to myself. However, it's hard to change and improve if I don't know where to start. Eugenia, please give me your advice. I believe that part of your problem is that you are focusing on the wrong things right now. Your chart indicates that you should be in the work force learning on the job or through an apprenticeship. The area of your chart that deals with work and money looks quite good as does getting recognition for what you do. If your interest in music happens to lead to playing in a band or singing or something of that nature you may want to get a job and start to push your own musical talent during your off hours. You are in a high cycle over the course of the next couple of years regarding getting ahead and following your dreams, hopes and wishes. Although it is always good to get an education not everyone is a good student. That doesn't mean however that you can't do well and excel at something that you love to do. Regarding friends and lovers you have to be patient. Many of your friends have moved in a different direction but there is some opportunity around you regarding making new friends. The possibility of meeting someone special is also apparent however both friendships and emotional relationships appear to be made at or through work. You match up well to those born under the signs Gemini, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Pisces.

I have had my chart done by a respected astrologer. She determined that I was a Virgo with Leo Rising. This pairing, along with some propitious planets, induced her to say that I have a flair for communication, writing, and a gift for gab. Most would agree with that. In my life, I have been involved with scientific research and law, however I still yearn for a bohemian lifestyle in publishing and the producing of film. Do you see that happening in midlife as my astrologer did? With Jupiter transiting over my natal Jupiter and then Ascendant, I would think things look favorable. The astrologist also said that because my Venus and Saturn are conjunct, I was relatively unlucky in matters of family and love. You are a Virgo by Sun Sign only and yes your Sun does fall in your third house of communications but it is only favorably aspected to your Jupiter and Uranus in your twelfth house which doesn't usually allow the communications to come through in a professional manner. With regard to working in research and with law the twelfth house does play a role, as does medical research, working with institutions etc. I believe that your writing and publishing is more of a hobby than a moneymaker but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try nor does it mean that you can't get somewhere with it if you are willing to put in the 300 percent and long hours it takes to actually live that type of lifestyle. With Jupiter moving through your twelfth house you should have an opportunity to make some career moves however as it hits your ascendant that is usually an indication that you can gain weight as well as blow situations out of proportion. Keep in mind that your natal Uranus and Jupiter are square your natal Neptune and this can cause you to be disillusioned about what you do. Regarding love your Venus was in a favorable position last year however if you didn't get out and meet people you may have missed the opportunity. Although the Saturn Venus conjunction can cause problems in love it is also well aspected to your North and South Node and this usually has a favorable affect on this conjunction. You should always look to the ruler of the seventh house regarding partnerships especially in a case like yours where there is no planet in that house. The ruler is Uranus in your case and you have your natal Uranus in Cancer conjunct Jupiter sextile to your natal Sun and square your natal Neptune. This can mean that your relationships begin and end suddenly, there you do meet people you like but they are usually w not available, that you can meet through your work however they could end up being more of a secret affair. Now I'm not saying that you can't find love and quite frankly right now while transiting Jupiter is crossing over your natal Uranus it is a good time to meet someone however be smart about it and always have an astrological comparison done. Thank you in advance for responding and offering this wonderful website. My troubles for the past two years have been in regards to my partner. I am a Leo (11/08/76); he is a Libra (08/10/75). We met each other while quite young, and have managed to maintain a seven-year relationship through the worst of events. Since 2000 however, I have been drifting away from him, wanting more out of life and out of the relationship -things he does not believe he can deliver. I love him dearly, but I am confused as to whether or not this relationship has outlived its usefulness or if I am searching for qualities only found in a "dream-man"? The strain between us has become unbearable. My heart tells me one thing, my head says otherwise. What can be done?

Unfortunately I have to admit that you are in a brother sister type relationship right now and it is time to move on. You are feeling depressed and stressed about this because transiting Saturn is adversely aspecting your natal Venus and you know within your heart that it is time to move on. It is never easy to leave someone you care about but you can't stay for the wrong reasons either. Set him free. You are like birds of a feather but you both need someone different. Hopefully you will be able to put this behind you and save the friendship for that is what this union should have been all along.
