Dear Eugenia

I am having difficulties in my current relationship. My boyfriend of almost 2 years (we met on Sept.9th, 1999) is leaving for Europe in 6 days, to return in 3 months. He has cheated on me in the past. I believe it is possible that he has a major problem with emotional commitment.

I am positive that the love between us is very strong. I love that we have such a bond. On the other hand, I do not want to spend my life with a man who cannot remain faithful through thick and thin. When he cheated the first time he was very upset with me and we were almost breaking up. We stayed together, but he still puts the blame for his cheating partially on me. He has trouble taking responsibility in a relationship.

I would like your help in my quest to determine what I should do. How can I talk to this Man, and get his understanding? Will he ever be able to remain faithful?

Although the comparison is workable I do feel that elements that could lead to unfaithfulness are apparent. He has the Sagittarius mentality that leans toward freedom, being a bachelor at heart forever yet on the other hand he also shows the ability to be loyal and practical when he finds his true love. I believe that although you do match up quite nicely mentally and physically that emotionally deception is evident. Regarding his trip to Europe you must be joking. Sagittarius is the sign of the traveler. To expect him not to go would be putting the kind of restriction on him that would make him take flight. You are going to have to come to terms with giving him the space he needs if you plan on keeping him happy. He is prone to fooling around if he isn't happy or satisfied with the relationship he is in. As for you, you have a tendency to overreact and may have blown the situation out of proportion. I believe that you should play it cool, give him space if he needs it and consider taking a trip yourself this summer just to keep life interesting. After all it would be great if you both had wonderful experiences to share with one another at the end of the summer instead of you questioning what he was doing and with whom while he's away. I believe part of the way to hold a gentleman like your Saggi friend is to keep him guessing and continue to learn, experience and move forward in your own life in a positive and adventurous manner.

On the off chance that you'll respond I'm asking for advice. I was born 8/23/68 at 10:42 AM - how does being on the Leo/Virgo cusp affect my love life? I was married for 8 years to a Leo (8/18/63) and it ended recently by him being unfaithful. I am currently dating another Leo (7/28/71) with whom I get along great - except he is unable to make the sort of commitment I want and need. What draws me to these Leo men? I have dated other men who were Sagittarius and Libra and those didn't work out, either. My one true love was a Taurus (5/3/68) and I was the one who ended things with him, which, of course, I now regret (but that was years ago). Any advice you can offer would be appreciated.

You may be born on the cusp but Virgo is by far the more influential sign in your chart. You are attracted to Leo's, Saggi's and Libra's because of where these signs are positioned in your chart. Unfortunately these placements contradict everything else pertaining to love and your sign Virgo. The Taurus did match up the best, no doubt about it. Article: A Second Chance

First of all, I just wanted to inform you that I admire you for all the advice you have given people. You have been blessed with the gift of astrology on your side and you have used it to help others. I totally admire that. I guess that is why I come to you for I am in desperate need of advice. I trust what the stars and planets have in store for me and know that astrology can tell me thingsabout myself that I didn't know or I can learn about others. I guess that is why I am so fascinated with astrology. Recently things in a relationship had been turned upside down. I was seeing this guy and everyone knew that we liked each other a lot. You could tell just by the way we would look at each other or the way we would speak to one another. After two months of seeing each other, the guy I was seeing finally decided he wanted to move to the next level with me. This came from out of the blue considering he was ditching me all the time. He told me the reason he was ditching me all the time was because I scared him with the fact that I was so into him and the age differencebetween the two of us. He was born August 5, 1967(don't know the time) and I was born on March 6, 1981 at 1:34am. So there is a good 12 years between us. I accidentally made him mad by being inconsiderate and he blew everything out of proportion. He hasn't spoken to me in overa month and then I find out that he lied to me. He told me that he was being evicted from his apartment because of me knocking on his door for so long when he actually didn't pay his rent. I have forgiven him for not telling me the truth. In all honesty, I don't know if I am in love with him. My mom tells me that it does matter how I feel and she knows that I feel very strongly for this guy. My world doesn't seem complete with him not in it. Do you think that I should let go or do you think that there will be a second chance with him in my future? Should you stay or should you go is the question. The compatibility was okay but I do feel that an element of deception is present and this could mean that there will be more dishonesty in the future. His Sun sign also falls in an area of your chart that can lead to dead end projects. I also believe that you are going through a very vulnerable time regarding love and relationships. Regardless of the direction you take I feel that you will have some romantic problems over the course of the next two years. I would be inclined to tell you to proceed with caution and to give him another chance if you do have strong feelings for him however I would not suggest that you commit to him legally for the duration of the next two to three years. If he loves you he should be okay with dating and building a strong friendship and intimate relationship. At the end of that period if you both still want to move to the next level (marriage etc.) that would be fine.
