I am having difficulties in my current relationship. My boyfriend of almost 2 years (we met on Sept.9th, 1999) is leaving for Europe in 6 days, to return in 3 months. He has cheated on me in the past. I believe it is possible that he has a major problem with emotional commitment.
I am positive that the love between us is very strong. I love that we have such a bond. On the other hand, I do not want to spend my life with a man who cannot remain faithful through thick and thin. When he cheated the first time he was very upset with me and we were almost breaking up. We stayed together, but he still puts the blame for his cheating partially on me. He has trouble taking responsibility in a relationship.
I would like your help in my quest to determine what I should do. How can I talk to this Man, and get his understanding? Will he ever be able to remain faithful?
I wanted so badly to go to Europe with him. Does his chart say anything about why he would part ways with me for such a long time, risking our stability, and leaving me terribly disappointed? Although the comparison is workable I do feel that elements that could lead to unfaithfulness are apparent. He has the Sagittarius mentality that leans toward freedom, being a bachelor at heart forever yet on the other hand he also shows the ability to be loyal and practical when he finds his true love. I believe that although you do match up quite nicely mentally and physically that emotionally deception is evident. Regarding his trip to Europe you must be joking. Sagittarius is the sign of the traveler. To expect him not to go would be putting the kind of restriction on him that would make him take flight. You are going to have to come to terms with giving him the space he needs if you plan on keeping him happy. He is prone to fooling around if he isn't happy or satisfied with the relationship he is in. As for you, you have a tendency to overreact and may have blown the situation out of proportion. I believe that you should play it cool, give him space if he needs it and consider taking a trip yourself this summer just to keep life interesting. After all it would be great if you both had wonderful experiences to share with one another at the end of the summer instead of you questioning what he was doing and with whom while he's away. I believe part of the way to hold a gentleman like your Saggi friend is to keep him guessing and continue to learn, experience and move forward in your own life in a positive and adventurous manner.

When I was a child I seemed to be able to do everything without effort. I was a success at most anything I tried. Then my parents separated when I was a junior in high school and things just fell apart for me. I feel like a loser. People tell me I am a strong person, and I try to be, but I feel that somehow I am wearing a mask and pretending. I don't feel strong. I have flunked out of college and am working in a retail job that isn't challenging. I tried taking a couple classes, but dropped out.
My relationships are really messed up. I have been seeing and living with a wonderful person for the past two years. He loves me and is wonderful to me, but I don't feel that I love him the way I should. I checked our romance compatibility with your site and found that I was what he was looking for (79 percent), but he was only 51% for me. I am afraid to say anything to him about this because I don't want to hurt his feelings. In the compatibility report it said that I could only survive in a balanced and harmonious atmosphere. I don't want that to be true.
I also keep thinking about someone who I loved in the past. This was not a safe relationship as he kept leaving me, but I feel like I was more in love with him although the compatibility report looks similar to the relationship I'm in now. He did come back and said he loved me, but I was too afraid. Now I'm thinking I might have made a mistake.
I am afraid to be alone, but I'm also afraid to be married because I don't want to end up hating someone I once loved. Is there anything in my chart that can explain any of this and is there any hope for my future? Is either relationship something I should pursue or should I just try it on my own?

You are moving into a period of make it or break it where relationships are concerned and you are also in a period where past lovers can come back into your life. Although both comparisons are okay I fear that your motives are wrong. You are going through a period of uncertainty and you shouldn't choose to be with either right now. You will be in a much better position at the end of 2002 and the summer and fall of 2003. Until that time you should probably get to know yourself a little better. Discover what other partners have to offer and play the field a little. You need more experience before you should settle down.

I have had my chart done by a respected astrologer. She determined that I was a Virgo with Leo Rising. This pairing, along with some propitious planets, induced her to say that I have a flair for communication, writing, and a gift for gab. Most would agree with that. In my life, I have been involved with scientific research and law, however I still yearn for a bohemian lifestyle in publishing and the producing of film. Do you see that happening in midlife as my astrologer did? With Jupiter transiting over my natal Jupiter and then Ascendant, I would think things look favorable. The astrologist also said that because my Venus and Saturn are conjunct, I was relatively unlucky in matters of family and love. You are a Virgo by Sun Sign only and yes your Sun does fall in your third house of communications but it is only favorably aspected to your Jupiter and Uranus in your twelfth house which doesn't usually allow the communications to come through in a professional manner. With regard to working in research and with law the twelfth house does play a role, as does medical research, working with institutions etc. I believe that your writing and publishing is more of a hobby than a moneymaker but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try nor does it mean that you can't get somewhere with it if you are willing to put in the 300 percent and long hours it takes to actually live that type of lifestyle. With Jupiter moving through your twelfth house you should have an opportunity to make some career moves however as it hits your ascendant that is usually an indication that you can gain weight as well as blow situations out of proportion. Keep in mind that your natal Uranus and Jupiter are square your natal Neptune and this can cause you to be disillusioned about what you do. Regarding love your Venus was in a favorable position last year however if you didn't get out and meet people you may have missed the opportunity. Although the Saturn Venus conjunction can cause problems in love it is also well aspected to your North and South Node and this usually has a favorable affect on this conjunction. You should always look to the ruler of the seventh house regarding partnerships especially in a case like yours where there is no planet in that house. The ruler is Uranus in your case and you have your natal Uranus in Cancer conjunct Jupiter sextile to your natal Sun and square your natal Neptune. This can mean that your relationships begin and end suddenly, there you do meet people you like but they are usually w not available, that you can meet through your work however they could end up being more of a secret affair.
