This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Dear Eugenia,

I've written to you before, and decided to try again for my question keeps coming back and I would love an explanation. I'm a Pisces (3/9/85, at 1:30 AM) and most of my friends and/or people I attract are fire or air signs. The thing is, most of these people come off as more sensitive than me! Being a Pisces, I thought I was supposed to be the compassionate, emotional type, but I don't feel that I'm that way at all. Over the past 4 years or so my life has been going in a downward spiral. I lost my father; my wife (through divorce) and I don't see my daughter. I lost my job as a software engineer. I know, like most, that you take the rough with the smooth in life. Now I'm at a stage where I feel completely lost and without direction. My finances have hit rock bottom. This is in stark contrast to about 12 years ago when life was almost great! Over recent years it seems that whatever I do just doesn't work. My question is will my life ever improve? Any help or guidance you can offer will be appreciated. I was born June 18, 1969 at 6 am.

Several planets have added to your down spiral the past eight years and although these transits in your chart aren't completely gone things do appear to be getting better. Part of the problem the past four years is that transiting Saturn has been passing through an area of your chart that can cause major depression and if your state of mind is bad because of this you will in turn attract negativity. This will lift off towards the end of the summer when you should start to feel some relief, but that doesn't mean that everything will turn around instantly. It will take work, effort and time on your part to make the difference. You appear to be lonely and this has also contributed to your depression. Trying to get involved with someone the past several years would have been difficult. With your natal Venus being adversely aspected by transiting Neptune sorrow within relationships was likely, not to mention the confusion you must have been experiencing. This is now lifting off and by the fall you will be in a much better position to meet someone who will be good for you and help to brighten your life. Dear Eugenia

I'm 33 years old. I'm a professional actress born March 18, 1969, at 1:15 PM. I migrate between New York and Los Angeles with the work. I graduated from drama school in New York when I was 24 and at that time my career developed somewhat too rapidly -in the sense that I was really not personally equipped to deal with the really exceptional professional opportunities that came my way so quickly. I had a lot of emotional, and I would say spiritual, issues that needed dealing with. I had quite a difficult time of it until around '98/'99 when I began to reform my life by slowing down professionally somewhat, and focusing seriously on healing. I also had some health issues come up around that time which sort of reinforced this move. And it has been very important and very positive for me. But given that I was working and campaigning for acting parts a great deal less (in an intensely competitive field), my career has suffered. I've been trying to decide about where to pick up the pieces. I still! Love acting and I've invested a lot of myself in it, but considering my age -I don't want to waste energy if it's not going anyplace. I'm also thinking about branching off into writing -playwriting. What do you think is the best move I can make for my career and my future? Thank you.

Your chart indicates that you have just moved into another high cycle regarding work and that it will be with you until the end of next year. I feel strongly that you should be pursuing what you love and giving it you're all but I also do believe that you have an ability where writing is concerned so I wouldn't like to see you miss out in that area either. I think that the year ahead will be a very busy one for you but certainly satisfying and worthwhile if you spread yourself a little thin and try to do it all. The area of your chart that deals with publishing and creativity is looking good as well so it is important that you do follow through in that area as well.
