For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I've written to you before, and decided to try again for my question keeps coming back and I would love an explanation. I'm a Pisces (3/9/85, at 1:30 AM) and most of my friends and/or people I attract are fire or air signs. The thing is, most of these people come off as more sensitive than me! Being a Pisces, I thought I was supposed to be the compassionate, emotional type, but I don't feel that I'm that way at all. Can you tell me why I attract so many of the signs that I'm not supposed to get along with? Which signs am I best suited to? thanks for your time! :)

My long-term question is that electronic astrology programs mention that I have latent undiscovered psychic or spiritual abilities. My AstroAdvice Natal Analysis says, "You can use your psychic abilities to get ahead in the world" and rates it 90%. I heard a suggestion that meditation can awaken this ability which could improve my environment and let me help myself as well as others. My interest in this subject is mainly spiritual as I have strong interests in improving myself spiritually. In your opinion and from your experience, how may I do so?My medium term question is my choice of career. Would my choice of career affect psychic or spiritual development (above question)? I wish to pursue electrical engineering.
My short-term question is that on 13th July 2000 and 18th July 2000 I suffered two minor accidents, the latter being one involving a motor vehicle. Is the time right for me to be on the road driving a motor vehicle? I was born June 17, 1980, at 2:54 PM.

Your chart does indicate Psychic ability however it appears to be in an area that deals with your well being and investments. Regarding helping you in your professional pursuits I think you have a natural ability to excel. You should do well in your chosen field and although you will have to work hard over the next couple of years you should find that between 2002 and 2008 you will have all kinds of opportunities to get ahead. I do not believe that your professional obligations will stand in the way of your spiritual or psychic growth. You should find that you will begin to expand your awareness in psychic areas next summer and this will set your spiritual course for years to come. Just because someone does well in business or has a career that is analytical does not mean that he or she cannot reach as high a spiritual or psychic level. You may want to take an interest course next year that will help you develop your intuitive abilities even further. Concerning your accidents I feel it was due to transiting Mars conjunct your natal Mercury in a transportation area of your chart. This particular transit can also cause arguments with friends or relatives, problems while traveling or difficulties with teachers. Although it has moved on for the time being it is something that can occur from time to time.

I have written about five times now, I realize that you are very busy & I'm hoping this is my lucky day.I was born on the 19th of May 1943, at 1 am & do not know for sure what sign I am under. Also I have been separated from my Husband for about 7 years. He has another partner & is doing very well financially & with his new love (his birth date is June 3, 1943). I would really like to know what is in store for me love, financial & job. Please Please answer this one as I am very depressed & no longer feel there is any hope for me.

You were born under the sign Taurus - there is no question about that but you also have a strong Gemini influence having your natal Mercury, Saturn and Uranus in that sign. The sign Cancer is also strongly placed in your chart with both your natal Venus and Jupiter situated in that sign, all that being said it probably leaves you a little bit confused. A chart is made up of many different facets your sun sign being a small but important part of the big picture. In your case the sign Taurus affects areas of your chart that deal with communication as well as your home environment. You are slowly but surely moving into a much better position where work and money are concerned but at the age you are at right now you will have to be very smart about the way you go at it. For the rest of this year and most of next you are in a high cycle regarding apprenticeships and learning new skills. It's hard to get into a position like that because of age discrimination these days so it will be important that you consider areas of work and learning that won't discriminate. Consider real estate or a product or service for the home, something that you can virtually be your own boss. If you pick up the skills or information you require now you will find yourself in a much better position this time next year. You don't have a bad chart you've just gone through some rough transits. Regarding your ex-husband, you do have a good comparison however even the best don't always last especially where Gemini males are concerned, in his case he as four planets in that sign. The past couple of years have probably not been the best for him either although he probably wouldn't share this with anyone. I feel his problems have probably been of an emotional as well as physical nature. I don't know how much contact you have with him but I believe that you should probably get in touch with him now. I think that you still have some unresolved issues and that he may be willing to help you out. Although your chart stills shows some depression and limitations financially that transit is lifting over the course of the next two months and I feel that you will be singing a different tune by the fall. Where love is concerned there is far more activity showing in your chart as early as mid summer but it's up to you to get out and be a participant.
