I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am currently upset because I have recently checked other forecasts besides yours and they all seem to say that I will be coming into an inheritance sometime this year. The reason for my quandary is that I really have very little immediate family left. I have lost both of my parents at an early age and only am close with my husband's side of the family and my brother and Aunt. I really am afraid that this means I will be losing someone close to me. Please help put my fears to rest if you can and explain what this might mean. Thank you so much for your time.

The area of your chart being referred to has several different meanings that could occur. You can come into money however it might be due to signing a contract that will bring you a higher wage, or perhaps you will win some money in a local lottery. It can mean that an investment you made starts to pay off or that you decide to invest in yourself, real estate or other items for you home that will grow in value. It does not have to mean that you are going to experience the loss of a loved one. Death is something that can not be predicted. Keep in mind that we are never on this planet one moment longer than we are supposed to be. Please lose your fears and look for a means to create more cash for yourself. Two years ago I had a serious car accident & fell into a deep depression. I met someone very special at the end of this difficult year, and he helped and supported me. This loving relationship I had never experienced before, & slowly we grew closer, & I got stronger, both physically & mentally. The problem is my family. They do not approve of my relationship, & have fought me every step of the way. I still live with my parents, & we have always been close, but they are very controlling & demanding of who I choose to marry. Rather than seeing the positive influences he has brought to my life, & trying to get to know him, they refuse to see or even speak his name, for the simple reason that he is younger (3 years), & does not share my educational or financial background. To me, these things do not matter. He has so many special qualities, & has ambition to succeed, that I don't doubt my future with him, but my family ridicules & puts him down and threatens me with disowning me, painting an ugly picture of my future struggle & a miserable life! I can't take the pressure and stress, & until I move out, how do I deal with their threats, & guilt that I am letting them down? I was born Feb.23/69, at 1:00 AM and he was born Aug.13/72. He has stuck by me through everything, I can't think of leaving him, but must I choose between him and my family? Will I indeed suffer for the rest of my life if I walk away from my family to be with him? Does educational level and a person's financial status really matter most? Am I as naive as they accuse me of? Please give me your comments on my dilemma. Thank you.

You do match up to your Leo partner however the comparison also denotes that deception and disillusionment are prevalent when dealing with friends and family. Your family is only looking out for your best interest and possibly your parents feel that you and your Leo partner were not up front regarding your intentions. I think that you may want to approach the situation from the stand point that if your Leo partner is indeed that dedicated to you he should be willing to sign a prenuptial agreement that will not give him any rights to your family's estate. This should put your family at ease and should allow you the freedom to proceed with your plans. Although you did not include your parents birth data I can see in your chart that at an emotional level you have probably always been manipulated to some degree by your parents. I feel that they have probably done this out of love and that should you make the decision to follow your heart that they will eventually accept the situation. This is not an ideal answer however because it is important that your family likes and approves of your partner if you wish to have favorable interaction with them in the future.

Dear Ms. Eugenia:
I would like an idea of how soon my troubles will last. On August 30, my husband was shot in an attempted mugging. He now has a bullet logged in his back. Fortunately, the bullet did not hit any vital organs, however it does rest less than an inch from his spine. Needless to say, it has caused much anxiety and stress. During his recovery, it was up to me to keep up on all household expenses. Doing everything on one income caused many bills to be put on hold. Hence, late charges, penalties etc. etc. And of course, more stress.
At the end of this month (October) I knew I would finally be "caught up" with all of those bills. My husband has recovered nicely (even though the bullet remains) and I was thanking the higher powers that all was soon to be well once again - until, two days ago, my oldest daughter informed me of a date rape that had also taken place on August 30. Due to the incident mentioned above, she didn't tell me immediately because she saw how the other things were affecting me (she and I are very close). Unfortunately, the rape has led to a pregnancy, soon to be terminated. She is only 15 years old. My doctor had to prescribe a sedative to keep me sane (something I have never, ever had to do before). It is stressing me to no end to think what she is about to go through, hence the sedative. My only question is, based on the position at the time of my birth August 20, 1968, at 3:00 PM can you please give me some idea of how much longer this "negative" cycle will last?

Your chart indicates stability between now and the end of April therefore you must pull yourself together and do what must be done. Being positive and supportive for your husband and daughter is required for a bit longer. The work and money area of your chart is moving into a favorable cycle. It is important for you to put your efforts there so that you can maintain a normal standard of living as well as keep your mind off some of the things that are stressing you out. If you have too much time on your hands to think about what you and your family have been through you are likely to continue to be depressed as well as suffer from emotional problems. You didn't submit your daughters or your husbands birth data therefore I can not comment on either one.
