I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

I am currently upset because I have recently checked other forecasts besides yours and they all seem to say that I will be coming into an inheritance sometime this year. The reason for my quandary is that I really have very little immediate family left. I have lost both of my parents at an early age and only am close with my husband's side of the family and my brother and Aunt. I really am afraid that this means I will be losing someone close to me. Please help put my fears to rest if you can and explain what this might mean. Thank you so much for your time.

The area of your chart being referred to has several different meanings that could occur. You can come into money however it might be due to signing a contract that will bring you a higher wage, or perhaps you will win some money in a local lottery. It can mean that an investment you made starts to pay off or that you decide to invest in yourself, real estate or other items for you home that will grow in value. It does not have to mean that you are going to experience the loss of a loved one. Death is something that can not be predicted. I know it's the third time I'm writing this letter and I hope I really don't disturb you but I want to know if the relationship I have with a good friend of mine is going to last. His birthday is 6 December 1981, 15:30 pm and mine is October 9, 1980, at 11:50 am. We have been friends since we were 6 years old and lately, he showed me that he wants something more than friendship. I wasn't in love with him but I had very strong feelings for him and so we had a relationship for a year. I am sad because it didn't work since I couldn't open up to him; I felt he didn't let me. Now he holds grudges because I asked him to break up because I thought that that was better for him and for me. I want to make things work again because I think that if we both want it we can make it work although it seems difficult and we hurt each other sometimes. I really don't want to lose him and I'm ready to fight for our relationship. So do you think it will work? Is it worth trying for? Please tell me because it's really very important to me.

The comparison with your Sagittarius friend was really quite good. I believe however that you both need more time. You obviously hurt his feelings and he is definitely a very proud man. You must get your friendship back on track first and then let nature take it's coarse. You will both be in a better position to readdress your relationship in 2004/2005. Considering you've known each other since you were kids you should be able to talk things through and get your priorities straight regarding the way you feel about one another at that time. Physically and mentally you match up well but emotionally there are some problems. Your inability to open up especially regarding the way you feel about being intimate with him must be dealt with and the only way that will happen is if you communicate. I do believe however that the timing has not been right for this relationship as of yet and that if you wait for another year you will both be in a much better frame of mind to deal with the problems that you face.

I am in my early forties, 2 children, married for 19years. For some reason I am in a very reflective state. I reflect on my past and become very depressed, I never had any career success, although I worked very hard, never made much money, however I continued my education, but I never got a "break" I was always past over, finally in my early thirties I became ill with MS and had to go on long term disability. So that was the final blow. I have come to terms with my situation and have gotten involved with the local MS Society as a Board member. I still yearn for some little professional success. Why can't I let go of the past and just relax and enjoy my children, and happy marriage? Will these feelings lift? I was born October 12, 1959, at 10:42 am.

What you are doing right now with the MS Society is important and I feel certain that someone you recently met through this organization will help you find your way where your profession is concerned. It is never too late and you are never incapable of achieving as long as you have the desire. You have just experienced your second half-life Saturn and this is why you have been so reflective. It is a period in your life that makes you reevaluate what you've done up to this point in your life and in turn it should help you realize whatever changes are necessary in order to make your life better. Your chart indicates that you have the spunk and desire to achieve and I believe that there is something very significant that you need to do. It will be something that will make a difference to other people. It can have to do with communications, creativity or your desire to help those who are experiencing similar disabilities. It's your spark, enthusiasm and need to achieve that will inspire others. Perhaps writing a book about your inner thoughts dealing with MS. I believe that if you work really hard towards a personal goal that you set for yourself that you will receive the recognition you are searching for beginning late next year and throughout 2005. You have what it takes to move mountains my dear and I do not believe that you have or ever will let your disability stop you from trying to move forward. This is about you right now - it's your turn to put yourself first, choose what it is that will bring you the satisfaction you are looking for and make it so.
