For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I am a Cancer, born 7/15/70 at 12:03 p.m. Currently I am having an affair with a Libra born 9/29/73. I do not know the time of his birth. Everything I have read states that I am not compatible with a Libra and that we should not be attracted to each other. If this is true how come the attraction to this Libra is so strong?

Astrological compatibility is often misinterpreted due to Sun Sign astrology. Although matching up Sun Signs can be fun it isn't accurate. In your case you have Libra rising with two planets in that sign and the Sign Aries in an area of your chart that deals with relationships making you compatible to both Libra and Aries. In the case of your Libra friend he has his Moon in Scorpio compatible to your Cancer Sun and natal Mars. His natal Venus is in Scorpio another water sign compatible to your Cancer Sun and Mars. I must caution however that the entire comparison isn't favorable. Like all relationships problems exist. Although I believe that you are both being honest with one another you are obviously having an affair and you aren't being honest with your other partners. You should back up and get your current relationships in order before you go any further.

I know I've met my soul mate, but we keep having conflicts that end with me not wanting to deal with him. He's a Taurus born May 4, 1971 and I'm a Cancer born June 25, 1962. Nine months ago he came back into my life after a 5-year separation, and I believed he wanted a second chance and that he truly loved me. His actions say otherwise when it comes to my feelings. I've gone out of my way, once again, to make sure he is happy, comfortable, and to give all the support he needs. He's done nothing for me and he makes me feel that he has taken advantage of me again and only cares about himself.
I've just recently asked him to leave, because he had hurt my feelings again and that was the last straw for me. I miss him desperately, but I don't know if it's my self-destructive behavior that won't completely let go! I don't want to go through this back and forth emotional roller coaster with him forever. Thank you in advance for responding and offering this wonderful website. My troubles for the past two years have been in regards to my partner. I am a Leo (11/08/76); he is a Libra (08/10/75). We met each other while quite young, and have managed to maintain a seven-year relationship through the worst of events. Since 2000 however, I have been drifting away from him, wanting more out of life and out of the relationship -things he does not believe he can deliver. I love him dearly, but I am confused as to whether or not this relationship has outlived its usefulness or if I am searching for qualities only found in a "dream-man"? The strain between us has become unbearable. My heart tells me one thing, my head says otherwise. What can be done?

Unfortunately I have to admit that you are in a brother sister type relationship right now and it is time to move on. You are feeling depressed and stressed about this because transiting Saturn is adversely aspecting your natal Venus and you know within your heart that it is time to move on. It is never easy to leave someone you care about but you can't stay for the wrong reasons either. Set him free. You are like birds of a feather but you both need someone different. Hopefully you will be able to put this behind you and save the friendship for that is what this union should have been all along.
