Dear Eugenia,

I am a Cancer, born 7/15/70 at 12:03 p.m. Currently I am having an affair with a Libra born 9/29/73. I do not know the time of his birth. Everything I have read states that I am not compatible with a Libra and that we should not be attracted to each other. If this is true how come the attraction to this Libra is so strong?

Astrological compatibility is often misinterpreted due to Sun Sign astrology. Although matching up Sun Signs can be fun it isn't accurate. In your case you have Libra rising with two planets in that sign and the Sign Aries in an area of your chart that deals with relationships making you compatible to both Libra and Aries. In the case of your Libra friend he has his Moon in Scorpio compatible to your Cancer Sun and natal Mars. His natal Venus is in Scorpio another water sign compatible to your Cancer Sun and Mars. I must caution however that the entire comparison isn't favorable. Like all relationships problems exist. Although I believe that you are both being honest with one another you are obviously having an affair and you aren't being honest with your other partners. You should back up and get your current relationships in order before you go any further.

There's really not as much of a "problem" as there are questions. I have been dating my boyfriend for four and a half months. This is the second time we have dated; we dated for six months about two years ago. Our relationship before was not a great one, but I have always had a place for him in my heart. We went two years without seeing each other once. We haven't left each others side since we ran into each other at a restaurant four and a half months ago. This "go around" is nothing like last time. We have a wonderful relationship. We intend on getting married some time next year. I wanted to know if you are able to tell me if you see this relationship succeeding. I believe that it will, but I wanted to know if you could let me know how you see this turning out. Article: Lost in confusion!!!

I have written several times; hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones this time. I have been married without children for 5 years now. Our relationship has many problems, which we have gone to counseling for in the last 2 yrs. Compatibility is an issue since we don't match up that well in our charts (average). I'm thinking of leaving but I'm afraid I'm just repeating old behavior patterns (this is my 2nd marriage). Do you see anything in my chart that would indicate such a thing?
