I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I was born on October 25, 1962 at 1:20 p.m. and I am writing you to see if you can help me. I have had a pretty rough life, and decided three years ago that I would do what I have always wanted and that is to be an actress. I have since been on television and film sets and have seen numerous people that others would love to see, and have actually met a few and had conversations with them. That is all fine and grand, but I have had a job offer from a Model Management company and am now the regional manager for them. What I want to know is am I ever going to get a speaking part for television or film and make it as a working actress. I really want to make this life time dream come true. I am starting college in January to get a degree in Dramatic Arts. I have been approached by clairvoyants telling me they can help me, that I am in my lucky time and they can help me succeed, but they of course want money that I don't have. So could you please tell me if I am on the right path and if I will ever make it as a working actress. This has been my life long dream and I want it very badly, more than anything in life. Could you please help and help me with your insight to this matter.

You are coming into a high cycle regarding career and professional moves. These will begin to occur toward the end of the summer next year and continue for approximately five years. It will be important to give it your all and to do the appropriate leg-work in order to get to where you want to go. Hard work, determination and pushing to meet the right people will be required. You have been and will continue to be in a high cycle regarding your educational pursuits for the better part of next year. Success is not always measured by fame and fortune it is truly the person who loves what they do for a living that is successful. I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? Can you guide me with this? p.s. will be having an operation in November - any tips? I was born October 13, 1954 at 7:30 am.

November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. I think that you both have a real draw to one another but I'm not sure that it is a healthy relationship and that it may be time to check out your options. Sometimes when your mojo stops working it's because you need to make changes and if you are reluctant to do so you can expect things to stagnate. This month you are in a high cycle regarding career moves etc. so concentrate on that first and make changes to your lifestyle in September/October.

This is a little dramatic (I'm a LEO born August 8, 1980 at 2:07 pm!) but I feel as though I am having a bit of quarter life crisis. I have only been doing the 9 to 5 thing a couple of years and already I just don't see myself being able to do it another 30+ more. I have thought of pursuing more creative endeavors such as writing or even astrology, but then there is also the matter of having to make a living. So my question is about my career path: Is this just a temporary rut and more a matter of finding the right 9 to 5 or should I be going a different route altogether?

Some people just don't do well with major routine. I believe that you can fit into a schedule if you like what you are doing however currently you are going through restlessness in an area of your chart that deals with how you earn your living. I feel that you may make a mistake if you are impulsive due to the type of transits that you are experiencing. My suggestion is to try something creative on the side but don't give up your day job. I worked in a routine job for the first seven years while I built up my astrological business. That is quite often what it takes - you have to support your addiction to your art. I do believe that you have creative talent and that you can obtain recognition for whatever you decide to pursue but not without hard work, dedication and paying the bills so that you don't have to worry about the roof over your head. You do show some talent where writing is concerned. If you really hate your 9 to 5 job consider another position that allows you to travel about more like a sales position or something that isn't quite as confining while you work on your own goals. I believe that if you work hard you may begin to see some recognition in about 4 years.
