I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I was born on October 25, 1962 at 1:20 p.m. and I am writing you to see if you can help me. I have had a pretty rough life, and decided three years ago that I would do what I have always wanted and that is to be an actress. I have since been on television and film sets and have seen numerous people that others would love to see, and have actually met a few and had conversations with them. That is all fine and grand, but I have had a job offer from a Model Management company and am now the regional manager for them. What I want to know is am I ever going to get a speaking part for television or film and make it as a working actress. I really want to make this life time dream come true. I am starting college in January to get a degree in Dramatic Arts. I have been approached by clairvoyants telling me they can help me, that I am in my lucky time and they can help me succeed, but they of course want money that I don't have. So could you please tell me if I am on the right path and if I will ever make it as a working actress. This has been my life long dream and I want it very badly, more than anything in life. Could you please help and help me with your insight to this matter.

You are coming into a high cycle regarding career and professional moves. These will begin to occur toward the end of the summer next year and continue for approximately five years. It will be important to give it your all and to do the appropriate leg-work in order to get to where you want to go. Hard work, determination and pushing to meet the right people will be required. You have been and will continue to be in a high cycle regarding your educational pursuits for the better part of next year. Success is not always measured by fame and fortune it is truly the person who loves what they do for a living that is successful. Therefore consider your reason for wanting to pursue this career because it isn't an easy path. I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

Rejection, rejection, rejection in every aspect of my life (love, social, work, income). I would love to settle in one relationship and a income area. You have been experiencing Saturn moving through your first house and that can limit opportunities however I believe that as Saturn moves into the later degrees of the sign Gemini it should help you where work is concerned. It is apparent that you can however be your own worst enemy when it comes to interviews etc. You should be working in an environment that is either an institution, government agency, bank, hospital etc. If you need to pick up additional knowledge you may consider going through the government work programs and pick up a skill that will help you land a job in the medical field. Such as a technician or lab analyst. Romantically you will be in a high cycle next summer so for now focus on work, learning new skills and getting into the work force. You will probably meet someone special through the job you land.
