I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

I am an 18 years old boy. I had written a letter to you before, I am very pleased for the suggestion you gave to me. Now my relationship with a girl born February 11, 1984 is pretty good. I wanted to ask her to go out about one and half months ago. But I was afraid that I would fail, so I asked my friend to check her out for me. Unfortunately she said that she only likes me as a good friend, but does not love me. So I didn't ask her out...
About a month ago, she told me that she had a new boyfriend. When I heard this news, I was devastated. I didn't know what to say. I could only say "congratulations". She only knew this guy for about a week. Then she accepted going out with him. Doesn't she know I love her or does she want to let me know I don't have a chance?
You told me once before that my relationship with her will be good in the summer. As summer is coming, do I have chance to go out with her? Her date of birth was February 11, 1984. My date of birth was October 25, 1982 at 10:00 pm.

The comparison with your Aquarius friend is good and you are coming into a high cycle regarding love this summer but you must also keep in mind that it may or may not be with her. I believe that if you keep yourself open and looking for love that you will meet someone equally as nice or maybe even nicer if she herself doesn't respond to you. You will have plenty opportunities for love this summer so don't limit yourself. As a matter of fact you shouldn't focus on her but instead on all the other females that are going to be around you. After all with her being an air sign you can bet that she will show more interest if she believes that you aren't available. Stand tall and show how strong, independent and exciting you can be. For the past two months, I am upset because my boyfriend wants to walk away from me. He loved me so much in the past. I always thought that he would never leave me. But now, he is determined to go. I've tried everything to keep him, and even thought of committing suicide. I don't understand why he completely changed his attitude, but I will not give up. I wish that we would continue to be lovers. At present, I feel very deep sorrow in my heart and I don't know what to do. I love him very much. Is there any hope that we can get back together again? The comparison with your Scorpio boyfriend was really quite good, however you can't force him to be with you if he doesn't want to be. He is going through a very confusing period right now and there is nothing that you can do to change that. The best thing for you to do is to back off and give him space. You will be in a high cycle next summer regarding love and having someone (possibly him) come back into your life. It is unfortunate when you match up so well that this has happened but it may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Being apart may make him realize how much you mean to him. Keep in mind that human nature is to want what you can't have and if he feels that you aren't so readily available he may think twice about letting you go. If too much negativity has occurred between you however due to you trying to hang on to him he may not feel that he can ever reverse his decision. For now it's a waiting game.
