Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

For the past few months my horoscope keeps telling me "this is the best time for romance", "You are going to find you soul mate" "This is your year".

Well I don't see anything happening. I am gay and my ex who is a Scorpio (Nov.12, 1959) is still on mind. I go out to meet people but no one seems to catch my attention. Lets address your past relationship first. You did match up in a number of ways but emotionally it was taxing to say the least. I believe that this was a karmic connection and that is why it is so hard to let it go. That being said it is probably time to stop reliving something that is already dealt with and finished. You are going through a period in your chart that is making you think about people from your past but that doesn't mean that you should be trying to back track. Although it is a good year for most Gemini's regarding love with transiting Jupiter moving through Libra I have to say that for you it is good for traveling, socializing, doing things that are creative, making new friends from different backgrounds and so forth but when it comes to love with your natal Venus in the sign Cancer you are a little ahead of yourself. At the end of this year transiting Jupiter will be moving into the passionate and compatible sign Scorpio making next year your year for finding true love so don't give up hope. Article: Feelings of Guilt

Dear Eugenia,

I (6 July 69, 2.40am) am the last of many siblings to leave home. I was 28 years old and realized I had to create some kind of independent life for myself. Though I love my mother (19 Dec 25) very much, we do not get along well for long periods, I've endured a lot of very hurtful criticism from her, but never retaliating out of respect. I left partly because I just couldn't take it anymore. I feel a lot of guilt and shame in even admitting this because your mother should be on a pedestal. I have a lot of problems trusting because I feel that if the closest person to me can wound me so much, then strangers may be even worse! Though I have stable platonic relationships, my romantic ones have been very sporadic and short lived (9 months is the longest).
