I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.

This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

Article: Need a Quiet Time

Dear. Eugenia,

This is the first time for me to try this out so bear with me! My life lately has been busy with work, school, friends, and family and I never seam to find time for myself. Lately I have been catching myself slipping up on important things like my homework and spending time with my friends.

I don't really understand why I am doing this; I'm not the type of person to slack in school and especially with my friends. I have tried to sit down and make myself do homework and talk to my friends, but I just can't. Can you tell me if I am ever going to get out of this stage? I was born April 15, 1983, at 1:03 PM.

Your chart indicates that you are going through a lot of changes and this can cause confusion and an inability to concentrate on what it is you are supposed to be doing. Your life is busy right now and that is not about to change over the course of the year ahead. You will have to take the time you require and pamper yourself a little or you will find that it will become impossible for you to get your work done or give the time required to your friends. The friends that are worth spending time with will understand if you tell them how burnt out you are and that you need quiet time to yourself. In fact they will probably help you out if they can in order to free up some of your time. Communication is all that is required. I am a 17 years old student studying in England at the moment. Now I am interested in a girl. Her DOB is 1984 Feb 12 (don't know the time) But she has a boyfriend. I don't know what to do. I really love her and don't want to lose her. But one of my friends said that it is not worth it to chase her. I really don't know what I should do now. Do you think that we might match up well? Take your time lover boy. You are both young. The best thing that you could do for now is to be her friend. Chances are slim that she will be with her current boyfriend forever. Your comparison was interesting but did show an element of emotional deception. That could however be the fact that you aren't telling her your true feelings and vise versa.
