This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.

Every time I read my horoscope, there is one thing I'd like to know...That's why I'm writing to you, I was born February 2, 1977, at 5:00 AM. Whenever we are unsure of our future, we look up our horoscope. Then, it might only be 50% correct, however, at least we can get to know little,...then for example, people who have financial luck do not have to work and people who don't have, they have to work throughout their lives...Of course we can not just reply on horoscope...we can just get help from it... If our fate is already determined, then what should we do?

Good question. Astrology is a mathematical science and an interpretive art. Only God can determine how long ones life will last but some of the things that we go through in life are determined by what we do as individuals. In your particular case your chart indicates that you are very bright and capable of making a lot of money through investments over the years. You will be in a high cycle regarding learning and educational pursuits as well as travel between now and the July of next year. You should also be looking at all your options regarding your career and job prospects between now and the end of 2001. You can make favorable professional changes if you put your mind to it. You should be careful however that you don't overspend foolishly over the next year and a half on social activities, entertainment, gambling or luxury items. If you can budget wisely until the end of next year you will be in a good position to invest in a worthwhile venture that should be quite prosperous. As you can see, there are good times and bad times to be doing certain things throughout your life. It isn't necessarily true that one person's chart is better than someone else's is but more so that one has better timing than the other does. Astrology can help you decipher when it is the best time to start something new or make a change or take advantage of an opportunity. As I have said many times, the ancient art of astrology is the modern art of timing.

Article: Not Just An Innocent Victim

Please help me. From January 1999 to January of this year, I had a relationship with my teacher who was born 24/11/1960, I was born 09/08/1983. The relationship was secret for obvious reasons, but then one night, my best friend told me that for the last two years he had been coming on to her, buying her things, and generally making her uncomfortable. I told her my secret as well and since then my life has been awful. I was really depressed and after a lot of soul searching I decided, with my friend, to tell our headmaster and get him thrown out of school so that I could get on with my life. Well, we told the head and a lot of things have happened that I didn't want to. Firstly, he made me tell my parents, secondly, I had to speak to social services, and thirdly, I had to speak to the police. The police want me to give a statement so that they can arrest him and hopefully sendhim to prison. I told them that I didn't think it would be worth it, but they said I had to think of all the other girls if I didn't. Anyway, I was adamant that there hadn't been any other girls in his past, nor would there be in his future, so I decided not to give a statement. However, today I found out that in his previous school, somebody accused him of doing something (which he didn't do, he says) and now I am so confused. My question is, should I make a statement and run the risk of ruining his life, or should I let it go, and run the risk of him doing this to somebody else?

Please help me, I don't know who else to turn to...

You need to ask yourself some serious questions regarding this incident. Your chart indicates that you weren't just an innocent victim, that perhaps you had an attraction to this man as well. That doesn't make it right for him to take advantage of you considering your age and vulnerability but there is also the possibility that you may be exaggerating just a little regarding what he was up to. If you feel that he was the only one flirting and caring on by all means do what you can to make sure that this will never happen to another student. However if you were just as much to blame you must tell the whole truth and let the authorities make the decision regarding his future. He will probably not be allowed to teach if he has been accused in the past. I believe that he is capable of twisting the truth and that he probably did do what he was accused of in the past. The unfortunate thing is that you probably told your friend partly because you were feeling a little jealous that he would pay attention to someone else. I believe that you were just as caught up in this whole affair as he was. It's time to tell the truth so that you all can get on with your lives.

Article: Nothing Going Right

Dear Ms. Last,

This is not the first time I have written you, but I do understand that you have received an incredible amount of mail. I would like some astrological advice on your part. First, I was born March 21, 1972 at 12.50 am. In 1997, I decided to return to college and do my Masters Degree. I am currently writing the thesis and it feels never ending. I suffered from a depression last year with suicidal tendencies, although I did not go through with my actions. I have gotten help, but I've the feeling the cycle is not over. Recently, my car was crashed into and declared a total loss by the insurance company. I cannot afford a new one, as my debt is already quite large. I lost my reading glasses yesterday and don't know how I will afford a new pair. I do work, however the stress of my job has compounded as I have become my boss's "go to" person, even though I am only a part time office clerk and he has at least 5 full time girls on staff. I have started crying a lot again, and tend to be depressed and oh so overwhelmed. I feel I will never finish my thesis that is due in the fall, after 2 extensions. I try to remember the reasons I decided to return to school, but at present, I do not see the positive aspect.

In addition (like it had to get worse) I have been single a long time, and I am falling in love with my boss. We don't mention it, but we spend a lot of time together, and he's married. I know he is confused in his marriage. He was born December 8, 1959. Hence, my question is, will things get easier for me? I read my astrology regularly on your site, but I still feel I need to know that I have made the right decision, because at present, nothing seems right.

You have just been hit by your Saturn return. This is not only depressing but it makes you reevaluate everything that you have done up until this point of your life. Don't worry; some people have it sit with them for a long period of time. In your case it will only be there for another couple of weeks. Now that doesn't mean that it will be smooth sailing for you. Life doesn't work that way, but you should be able to start focusing on the more positive aspects of your life. The work and money area of your chart is in a high cycle and that means that you could probably find a new job that would be less stressful. You may have a thing for your boss but it probably isn't healthy for you to have to put up with him using you as his "go to" person and whatever else you allow him to use you for. You should be experiencing opportunities to meet someone new, preferably someone who isn't already attached. Regarding your thesis I suggest that you get working on it and get it out of the way once and for all. By the middle of the summer you are not going to want to do it. Later this year and well into next year you will be in a high cycle regarding romance again so you won't want to be sitting at home working trying to get your thesis out of the way. It's time to take control and set your game plan. Look for a new job, get the thesis out of the way and keep yourself available for potential relationships. You match up well with those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The problem with your Sagittarius is that he falls in an area of your chart that deals with secret affairs.
