For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Hi, it is an honor to write to you. I receive hope from your site when I'm in need of help. The reason I am writing to you Eugenia is that this year, a lot of bad things have happened to me... My best friend committed suicide and I am having difficulty getting over the shock. This was only 3 months ago...My mind is so dizzy. I need to forget everything and face the reality but I don't know whether I'm too weak.
I love a guy. I have known him since I was young. We were friends in the beginning and became lovers later. There is a misunderstanding between him and me. As a result, he left me. I need to forget him but it is not easy to do so. Every day is a long day full of pains. Eugenia, Can you give me a supportive word? I'd like to move on...

I have written about five times now, I realize that you are very busy & I'm hoping this is my lucky day.I was born on the 19th of May 1943, at 1 am & do not know for sure what sign I am under. Also I have been separated from my Husband for about 7 years. He has another partner & is doing very well financially & with his new love (his birth date is June 3, 1943). I would really like to know what is in store for me love, financial & job. Please Please answer this one as I am very depressed & no longer feel there is any hope for me.

You were born under the sign Taurus - there is no question about that but you also have a strong Gemini influence having your natal Mercury, Saturn and Uranus in that sign. The sign Cancer is also strongly placed in your chart with both your natal Venus and Jupiter situated in that sign, all that being said it probably leaves you a little bit confused. A chart is made up of many different facets your sun sign being a small but important part of the big picture. In your case the sign Taurus affects areas of your chart that deal with communication as well as your home environment. You are slowly but surely moving into a much better position where work and money are concerned but at the age you are at right now you will have to be very smart about the way you go at it. For the rest of this year and most of next you are in a high cycle regarding apprenticeships and learning new skills. It's hard to get into a position like that because of age discrimination these days so it will be important that you consider areas of work and learning that won't discriminate. Consider real estate or a product or service for the home, something that you can virtually be your own boss. If you pick up the skills or information you require now you will find yourself in a much better position this time next year. You don't have a bad chart you've just gone through some rough transits. Regarding your ex-husband, you do have a good comparison however even the best don't always last especially where Gemini males are concerned, in his case he as four planets in that sign. The past couple of years have probably not been the best for him either although he probably wouldn't share this with anyone. I feel his problems have probably been of an emotional as well as physical nature. I don't know how much contact you have with him but I believe that you should probably get in touch with him now. I think that you still have some unresolved issues and that he may be willing to help you out. Although your chart stills shows some depression and limitations financially that transit is lifting over the course of the next two months and I feel that you will be singing a different tune by the fall. I read your column religiously. I really need some advice. My ex-husband born 2-25-54 at 2:50 am and myself born April 8, 1963 at 4:20 am were married for 13 years and then in 1998 he met someone online and left me. He hasn't seen our children or really spoken to me since. Recently, I have been severely disabled. A severe flare up of MS that has left me bedridden. I requested an increase in child support, which my ex fought stating that he pays the mortgage payment. Within 1 month of his dispute of the child support I was contacted by the IRS telling me that I owed them over 10k because I never claimed the fact that he paid the mortgage as my income. H&R block did my taxes and they are going to pay the penalty because they realize that this has been their error not mine. However Eugenia, my tax consultant told me that my ex must have brought the issue up for the IRS too audit the years requested. Eugenia, my health is such that I'm not going to be able to care for our boys much longer. I can't believe that my ex is being so vengeful I have not done a thing to him not even tried to contact him. Please Eugenia, can you tell me if there is any hope that my ex will treat our sons decently........or maybe if you see any break for me financially or health wise. I'm really at the end of my rope :*( Thank you for your time

You didn't mention when your children were born so I can't tell you what the relationship between them and your husband will be in the future. I believe that your husband has always been in denial regarding the boys but if push comes to shove and you were no longer able to care for them he would step in. However he would also stop support for you at the same time. Your husband is a little full of him self and conceited when it comes to who he is and what his potential is. I believe that he is probably not in as good a financial situation as you might imagine. Although he can make money he can also let it slip through his fingers. He can be charming but he can also show his temper and he is one to exaggerate and blow things out of context. If I were you I would probably try to make a deal with him that when you can no longer care for the boys that he pay to bring help in to take care of the boys as well as you or that he must take the boys on himself as his responsibility. The ideal situation would be for you to have a family member or friend take on that position however that may not be possible. Your chart indicates that you will continue to experience more limitations due to your illness over the course of the next year but also that you may be given the wrong medication and this is what leads to the additional problems. Please keep on top of what the doctors offer you. Try to do your research for side effects etc. Financially you do appear to be in a better position over the course of the next several years. This could be due to subsidies that are provided by government or some other health care organization. It can also be that you come into money through a tax rebate, insurance surrender, winnings or a gift from someone who cares. Please don't lose hope; your boys need your input even if you can't do as much for them. You must not give up but instead try to provide an alternative to get the help you need. Your ex should pay for this assistance or do more to take care of the boys himself. Something tells me he will opt to let you take care of them even if it does cost him a little more to get you the help you need.
