For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia:
I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

I was born June 10, 1980 at 11 pm. I recently meet a guy (Birth date: 11/07/1983) and we started dating. I think he is a sweetheart but self-conscious because I make more money than he does and I am self-conscious because he is younger then me (Birth date: 06/10/1980). We get along great but the problem is that I have secretly started seeing an old flame (Birth date: 11/21/1980). My old flame is someone I have had a crush on for years even after we broke up. The problem is that my old flame has a girlfriend as well whom he is having problems with. I am confused now on what to do. I like the new guy but I think I am curious to see if there is still something with my old flame. I am confused on whether I should stay with the new guy or dump him for my old flame and see if there is more to it then just friends. Please help.

This is a bit of a no win situation. Both comparisons are very different however they both show signs of sorrow as well. You have a tremendous number of planetary connections between your chart and that of your younger Scorpio friend but I believe that being the Gemini that you are you will not be able to leave well enough alone causing an insatiable urge to find out if you still have something going on with your ex Scorpio. This in turn will cause sorrow with your young Scorpio - he will not take lightly to you engaging in any relationship be it platonic or not with your ex. Please don't lose sight of what was wrong with your relationship with your ex Scorpio the first time around and why you aren't still together. The same problems will crop up time and time again. Your young Scorpio has his natal Venus in the sign Virgo so age shouldn't be a problem considering he probably acts quite mature when it comes to love. You have your natal Venus in Gemini and that often causes you to be fickle and flirtatious when it comes to romance. Your ex has his natal Venus in the sign Libra and although he can be very charming etc. he can also be as fickle and flirtatious as you. All this being said I do believe that you should probably set your young Scorpio free before you really hurt him. Give yourself time to rediscover your old partner and prepare to move on to new potential partners around the end of the summer or early fall of this year. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius and Aquarius.

I was born Nov. 10 1971 at 6:18pm. My husband born Nov. 1 1960 at 8 am. Our son born Oct. 26 1996 at 3:12 am. 3 Scorps under one roof! I met my husband at 17 and have been with him since. We have been married for 6 yrs. I have gone through many changes in the past few yrs. I believe my Saturn in return at this time. I am questioning my relationship and feel unfulfilled. However I have built a life with this man and we are raising our son together. I am older now and more aware of what I need in a relationship. I honestly feel if I had met my husband now, I would have not wanted to start a relationship with him. We have gone through many tough times and I do care about him. We make an excellent team at times but we disagree a lot and it ends up being a heated debate. From how we should raise our son and our personal goals. My husband has problems with chemical abuse. He quit drinking at the beginning of our relationship but never gave up smoking pot. At times I feel pulled down by him and do things I feel are no good for me. I am completely faithful to my husband but feel guilt by the strong attraction I have to other men. I have been getting crushes, and I feel uncertain regarding my marriage. My cynical scorpion side takes over and I find myself picking my husband apart. He tends to exaggerate stories and embarrasses me when we go out on occasion. By offending someone with being physically crude or saying an off color joke etc. We have built a life together and financially we would have to sell our home if we broke up. He is a good father and my son adores him. I feel like I would mess up everyone's life if I chose to end the marriage. I work with a man and there has been an instant attraction from day one. His birthday is July 10 1974. This guy has a live-in girlfriend. I feel something very intense when I am around him and it seems like it is a mutual feeling. I do not intend to pursue anything outside my marriage, however the changes in me are causing me to reevaluate my life. I would like it if you could tell me what the charts say with the birth data I have given you.

Your comparison with your husband was lacking but workable. I never really mind same sign relationships however in your case although you were born under the sign Scorpio you have Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune in Sagittarius, Uranus and Pluto in Libra, Moon in Virgo, Mars in Pisces and Saturn in Gemini with Gemini rising. Now that doesn't make for a very strong Scorpio. With transiting Saturn sitting on your natal Saturn you are going through your Saturn return and this can cause you to reevaluate your life up to this point. It is a turning point that can be depressing, insightful and hurtful. You can either make the necessary changes that will in turn make your life better or you can settle and leave things the way they are. If you are going to leave your husband I believe that it will be over the course of the next year. However, do not leave him for your Cancer attraction. This man does match up to you but the sign of sorrow is present and it isn't likely that this relationship will be lasting even if you do get it off the ground. I believe that your attraction to him and to other men is due to your dissatisfaction with your own life and with your husband. It's time to start communicating with your husband. Consider seeing a marriage counselor. Both you and your husband have the planet Venus in the sign Sagittarius in your natal charts and this is usually indicative of someone who is a bachelor at heart. Your husband may be feeling the same way that you are.
