Article: An Imminent Turning Point

Dear Eugenia:

I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

Article: Is It In The Stars?

Dear Eugenia,

A few months ago, I could not get an ex-boy fiend out of my mind. It was his 30th Birthday coming up and I just could not stop thinking about him! I took it upon myself to write a letter to him just to say hello, as we had not spoken in over 5 years since I moved back home to Australia. I didn't know where he was (he lives in the US) so I sent the letter to his parent's address, which they forwarded to him. In the letter I said not to feel obligated to write back if he didn't want to etc. I knew he was married and wanted to respect that. He was the love of my life, the one that I still compare everyone else to. He was such an important influence on who I am.Two days ago, I received an email back from him. He was amazed and very happy to hear from me. He is divorced now, living with a new girlfriend in another state. We have sent a few e-mails back and forth over the past few days and I am stunned that we still know exactly what to say to make the other laugh and connect! We were the best of friends and I was equally as devastated when we split up for losing a lover and best friend.

My point is, have we come back into communication with each other for a reason? I always thought of him as my soul mate and have often said that if we had met in our late 20's, we would have been together for life. I am now 29. I am sure I am reading too much into it. Or am I? If not, it is really nice to be in touch again. What's happening here???

It is too bad that you didn't include his date of birth. Without it I can't run a comparison in order to determine if you do belong together or not. I can tell you however that you are going through your Saturn return right now and this always makes you reevaluate your past. It can bring past partner back into your life especially if you didn't have proper closure the first time around. I suggest that you tread carefully because you also have transiting Saturn opposite your natal Neptune and this can mean that you or he are not being completely honest about your intentions, situation or feelings. Check out your compatibility with this man on the site before you proceed and if you do match up well I suggest that you move forward with caution. Ask questions and dig deep to find out where he has been and whom he is with. Truth will be the most important issue regarding your romantic future this year. Article: Can't Find the Time

Dear Eugenia,

I am trying to fight blatant employment discrimination. Each time I submit a document, appeal, etc. my horoscope shows encouragement & success. The next day, each time, legal problems, trouble, etc. shows up. Pretty accurate, too. Is my timing off? Everything is actually documented, but no one will read or listen. It's as if I'm CAUSING the legal trouble in my horoscope each time I try to fight. I'm being blackballed so badly & long; I have to leave the state. Any advice?

Dear Poor Timing

You have the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in the sign Aquarius with your natal Neptune in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus making this a particularly difficult time to make the right choices.
