I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

The area of your chart that deals with academics is quite favorable. Not only does it show determination and desire to get ahead but also that you have a good memory. Over the course of the past three years however there has been a transit that may have stood in the way of your capabilities. This transit moved off your chart early this year and that means you should be getting back on track. You will find the next several years much better regarding both lower and higher education. Regarding your friendships, you have had similar limitations because the same area of your chart represents your peers and classmates. Where a more romantic partner is concerned you are just entering a favorable period now and it will be with you until late spring of next year. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Sagittarius and Aquarius. When relating to other people you are not necessarily cool and detached but you sometimes will treat your friends in that manner. It is more to do with your own uncertainty. Where do I begin as the song says! Since the end of December my life has completely changed. My mother fell very ill nearly died and as a result she is no longer able to live alone. My sister and I agreed that we would never put my mom in a nursing home. So, I moved to a bigger house and moved 2 households into one. My adult children live with me too. I have a job where I like the work I do, but my boss is very verbally abusive, and have been working on making some professional changes (do you show anything in my chart in that regard??)Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I am on a Spiritual Path and I know that all these situations are just lessons being learned.
My question to you though is this; According to my chart do you see any particular endeavors that would be better than another for me to pursue? I am now in the travel industry. I have experience in the hospitality industry as well. Healing, Hypnosis (I have certification) and NLP are my love though. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't know what I want to do when I grow up?? Do you have any suggestions or ideas?? Any help would be great, I would really appreciated it. You are right about making changes. Your chart indicates that you should be concentrating on your work, money and career. Over the course of the next three years you will have plenty of opportunities to forge ahead in whichever field you decide to pursue. Your chart indicates that you like the unusual and you like to help others. You also show great promise regarding communications, travel, hospitality and so on. I feel that because of this you are probably best to make your money in the later area and take time to enjoy the spiritual path that you desire on the side. Know one should have to put up with an abusive boss. I suggest that you start looking for a new position, if you get your resume out into the market or you approach a headhunter in your industry you should be able to land a decent position between now and the end of September. You will be in a high cycle regarding career moves, changes and advancement during the first half of next year as well. You've taken on a lot but you also have a very giving and loving personality. Romantically you will be in a high cycle throughout next year. Partnerships will be in the picture during the second half of the year. Don't hold back, you can do it all. Get rid of the boss from hell and you'll have the energy to take part in all the aactivities that interest you.
