I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia:
I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

I need some help, maybe some insight into my situation. About a year ago I met someone on line, I will call him "Rob" it started as casual emails leading, to phone calls, after 8 months he came all the way from England to meet me. Rob's visit pretty much confirmed what we both felt before meeting. We love each other, we feel as though we were meant to be together. The obvious problem, the distance. Eventually someone will have to make a move. I plan on visiting him in March. I know he hated FL & would not want to move here. I have always been obsessed w/ England so it's obvious who it will be but the prospect of it scares me to death it is a huge move & my parents (the only family I have) are here. I wonder if I should just end it & move on w/ things here but I love him so much & have never felt this way about anyone before. I was hoping maybe you could shed light on the situation, any help would be greatly appreciated! His birthday is 8/27/1973. and mine is November 30, 1970, at 9:46 PM. Thank You-

The comparison does indicate that you are not being completely honest with him about the way you feel regarding leaving your home and family. It is important to clear this issue up when you go to visit him. In this day and age with technology and air travel being so fast the planet has become a much smaller place. As you have already discovered it is easy to stay in touch with people who live far away. You owe it to yourself to follow your heart and investigate his homeland as he has yours. I do believe however that without open and honest communication you will face future problems.

I was born on Feb. 6, 1975 at 7:00 p.m. (19:00). Recently, I have a headache just thinking of my job. I think the basic reason is my personality. I'm working for a trading company dealing with chemicals. My position is sales deputy manager. I want to be a salesman but I'm not interested in chemicals at all. My boss and I worked at the same company until this January. He set up his own company and he asked me to help him. So I started this new job from this January. Studying about chemicals is difficult. This is the first problem. I want something more active and fresh. But my boss is really friendly and good to me so I'm hesitant to leave.
I am thinking what I really want to do everyday. A few weeks ago, I went to a fortune-teller. He said that I had better do creative things like fashion design or whatever. He added that I should start as soon as possible and would be successful when I'm 30 years old. Maybe he is right because I'm bored of the routine at work already. I have changed my job two times in the past two years. I don't regret making the change because it was a sedentary job and I don't like it. I'm trying to think what creative work would be good for me. Fashion illustrator? But I don't have any talent working with my hands, but I do have a sense of style.
Anyway, this is the second question I have. I don't know what is better for me in the future. I only know that I do not like chemicals. Should I keep this job because I have to keep the promise with my boss? Or should I change my job? As you said, timing is important. Sometimes I think I'm wasting my time on something that is all wrong for me. Am I right?

You are headed toward a high cycle regarding your work however it will be more predominant beginning next February therefore you do have some time to make up your mind and to look around. Regarding sales, you can do quite well in that field, however what you sell will make all the difference in the world. There are a few options that you might find interesting however for some of them you may have to pick up additional knowledge or courses. I suggest that if that is the case you do so between now and the end of January if possible. You can do well in the fashion industry however I think it would be more in an area of buying not designing. Keep in mind that anything you do can be creative. You also show talent in the field of technology. That could mean selling ideas, concepts etc for a .com company that offers you options. You also show promise in the area of communications and that can mean working with computers, internet, radio, television etc. You have many choices to make and it will be dependent on your knowledge and your ability to jump from one field to another as to how well or how far you will go. The timing is right for you to pick your direction and signing up for courses that will bring you the knowledge required to help you get the position you want by the early part of next year.
