One of the inviolate rules of nature is what goes up must come down. It is frequently forgotten outside of the context of physics. Sustained success dulls perception of many of the factors one is acutely aware of on the way up. Attempts to backtrack at this point may be futile.

Remember that in studies success is not the same thing as knowledge. It will stand you in good stead if you endeavor to gain real understanding of your subject, not just good marks. A good education is something that you will always have, and that will serve you in many unexpected ways all through your life. Do not give it short shrift.
