I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Although I have been out of the dating scene for some time, I'm ready to get back in. As has happened in the past, a much younger man has expressed an interest in me. I am quite attracted to him, but I found myself so wrapped up in uncertainty about his motives (I just couldn't believe he was interested in someone my age)that I overanalyzed the situation and ended up not even being able to be hospitable the one time we got together (at least in hindsight I think I wasn't). We do see each other for professional reasons quite regularly and I've managed, at least in that arena, to keep things light and friendly. Is it possible he is actually interested? Without his birth data of the gentleman involved I can?t tell you how interested in you he is but I do know that you actually can do quite well with partners who are much older or much younger so chances are good that he wasn?t faking it. You will be coming into a high cycle beginning this fall that will remain with you for the better part of a year regarding love, romance and finding Mr. Right. It is apparent that you could easily meet this person through your work or it could be someone you?ve already met like your man in question. Your chart is looking good with regard to relationships however due to the planet Saturn transiting through the area of your chart that deals with relationships it has caused you to have this push pull attitude the past year and a half. I (July 28, 1961 @7am) am still in love with my son's father (born, March 29 1970). We broke up once again and this time he said we were finished. We had been trying on and off for the past nine years, but we never could get past old hurts. I feel that we aren't finished, but I am trying to move on as he did. Currently he is in a relationship that he said he was going to make work. I hear it isn't working because he still has deep feelings for me, yet he won't talk to me. When we are together there is a current of electricity that passes between us. We both want to be together but are scared of rejection, etc. I believe we deserve another chance or is it just wishful thinking. Can we make this relationship work?

I do see the connection but I don't necessarily feel that it is a good one. You do have a strong pull toward one another but it is hurtful, damaging and I feel that it was strictly meant to be an affair, not a life long, live in connection. The sooner you both move on and put your differences aside your son will be able to benefit from both of you. As long as you continue this love/hate relationship your son will suffer. Your chart indicates that you are coming into a high cycle regarding love and romance. This can be a period where someone comes back into your life or a period that you meet someone entirely new. Please do not let this man back into your life during this period or you will miss the opportunity to meet someone who can be a good partner and stepfather. Unfortunately I fear that as soon as your ex discovers that you are moving on he will be back in your life big time and this will only result in further rejection. You may be willing to put up with more of the same on again off again relationship but ask yourself if it is fair to do this to your son.

I wish your business' success. While I have been admiring Eugenia Last and wishing one day I could see her, I came across the article about launching the Korean astrology site. I registered and I have been using the service well in real life. And I had a chance to really meet Eugenia. I would like to thank again the astroeast.com manager and other staff for preparing the event. My question for Eugenia is this. I am changing jobs. I was born April 28, 1969, 7:30-8:30pm. I am working in an association. I'd like to quit my job as soon as possible and work in an insurance company. You told me at the forum that I could change my job between now and next Feb, but I am thinking of changing my job as soon as possible. I'd like to know when is the best date and whether I can succeed financially or not. My wife is a vet and she is asking me to be her partner. (Then, the main customers will be vets) My wife's birthday is May 17, 1971, 1:00-2:00 PM. I am looking forward to your reply. I wish I could see you again in next February when you return to Seoul. You should try to make your move in the next four weeks if possible however if it isn't you still have opportunities between now and April 21, 2001. Regarding joining your wife's business I'm not sure that working with your wife would be the best situation for you. Although your comparison is quite good I believe that you both think very differently and this could create a problem. The work and money area of her chart does look prosperous over the course of the next couple of years however where partnerships are concerned it doesn't appear to be as favorable for either one of you. If you were to start your own business during the last quarter of next year and incorporate what you do into being a consultant to your wife's business, that might work. I believe that you should make your jump into another company soon. One that you feel will enable you to make money and will also help you learn the skills you require in order to eventually start your own consulting business on the side late next year or the first half of the year 2002.
