I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Although I have been out of the dating scene for some time, I'm ready to get back in. As has happened in the past, a much younger man has expressed an interest in me. I am quite attracted to him, but I found myself so wrapped up in uncertainty about his motives (I just couldn't believe he was interested in someone my age)that I overanalyzed the situation and ended up not even being able to be hospitable the one time we got together (at least in hindsight I think I wasn't). We do see each other for professional reasons quite regularly and I've managed, at least in that arena, to keep things light and friendly. Is it possible he is actually interested? I'm afraid of looking like an old fool, but would really like to dump this attitude. I was born July 9, 1950 at 8:30 PM.

Without his birth data of the gentleman involved I can?t tell you how interested in you he is but I do know that you actually can do quite well with partners who are much older or much younger so chances are good that he wasn?t faking it. I suggest that you go to my www.astroadvice.com web site and run a comparison between you and him and if it comes up positive I suggest you backtrack and give him another whirl. You will be coming into a high cycle beginning this fall that will remain with you for the better part of a year regarding love, romance and finding Mr. Right. It is apparent that you could easily meet this person through your work or it could be someone you?ve already met like your man in question. Your chart is looking good with regard to relationships however due to the planet Saturn transiting through the area of your chart that deals with relationships it has caused you to have this push pull attitude the past year and a half. That transit is moving off now so you should be able to deal with your demons and give any relationship you get into an honest and heartfelt chance. I have been a creative person all my life and have a career as a Graphic Artist, but over the past few years my mind began to flow over with ideas for film and television projects. I acted in a friend's short film and have been teaching myself the craft of writing stories for a few years now. I am torn because my identity has always been as a Graphic Artist, but I see myself as a writer. Do you see anything in my chart that would support my making a career change in the near future?

Yes I do see career change. It has actually been in your chart since the spring of 2003 and isn't about to move off until the end of this decade so get used to it. Your chart does indicate that you are highly creative and should work in a field that allows you to explore many different creative venues. In this day and age people change career direction more often and so you shouldn't be so worried about it. You can always fall back on graphic design or even keep working in that field while you delve into the performing arts and writing. My concern with writing is that although you do have your natal Mercury well aspected to your natal Pluto it does fall in an area of your chart that can sometimes make it difficult for you to get your work (writing) into the mainstream where it can be profitable for you. On the other hand you also have quite a build up of planets in an area of your chart that deals with communication and publishing so I believe that with a little extra effort and good timing you may be able to push your work into the hands of someone who can help you get ahead. You have been going through a transit that can help you with this the past couple of years and you did manage to work in the film and television industry during that time however that transit has moved on for now. Another transit similar will activate again in about four years but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start working in that direction now. After all the more prep work or writing you aspire to between now and that time the more polished your work will be as well as the more sellable when that transit moves into your chart. My suggestion to you is to continue your current work and do your writing on the side with your goal being to start trying to sell it in 2008/2009.

I have been using this wonderful site even before its Japanese version opened! I would like to ask your opinion on two men who are currently in my life. My birthday is 7/8/1973, and I was born around 7. I have been with this Gemini guy (6/15/1975) for five years. We maintained a steady, comfortable, and very fun relationship since meeting each other in college. But about a year ago, I found out that he cheated on me. He deeply regrets hurting me and promises me that he would never cheat on me again. I still care about him and hope that we could be a happy couple again. We have been trying to work things out but I still feel insecure. I fear that he will hurt me again in the future. Then, there is another guy, a Leo whose birthday is 8/5/75. We work together in a design office. Not only he is an attractive young man, but also he has been a great inspiration for me in my design work. We are pursuing the same career, so we share the same interests naturally. He is breaking up with his current girlfriend (don't know her birthday) and I am still involved with a Gemini guy, so we don't have anything going on at this moment. We often go out for lunch and talk about each other's love problems, art, philosophy, religion, music, and much more. I truly enjoy his company and I believe that he is feeling the same way, too. What I would like to find out from you is do I have any chance with this Leo? Or, should I keep trying with my Gemini man? You do match up well to both men in question however your current Gemini boyfriend's comparison to you does indicate emotional deception. In the case of your Leo friend some sorrow is evident. I believe that you are sitting between a rock and a hard place. For the time being I feel that you have to give your Gemini partner more time to build a strong friendship with your Leo. After all lovers come and go but friends are with you forever. The only other alternative that you have is to back away from both and take some time for yourself. However, if you do so you may lose out on both counts. Your chart indicates that you are in a high cycle where work and meeting important and influential people are concerned, building friendships and pleasure travel. It is obvious with transiting Neptune sitting opposite to your natal Venus for the past couple of months that you will be confused regarding love and although you will get some relief from July until mid January it will come back to haunt you at that time on and off until the early part of 2004. Now that doesn't mean that you can't have a good relationship it just means that you will go through periods of confusion as well as temptations regarding secret affairs or the person you are with cheating on you. It can be a highly creative period and a great time to expand where your professional goals are concerned.
