Hi Eugenia

Although I have been out of the dating scene for some time, I'm ready to get back in. As has happened in the past, a much younger man has expressed an interest in me. I am quite attracted to him, but I found myself so wrapped up in uncertainty about his motives (I just couldn't believe he was interested in someone my age)that I overanalyzed the situation and ended up not even being able to be hospitable the one time we got together (at least in hindsight I think I wasn't). Dear Eugenia,

This is my third letter to you in the last few months; I would be so grateful if you could respond, either via email or on the site. I was born on 4/14/71 at 4:41 PM. In the summer of 1997, I broke up with my long-term boyfriend (of approximately 7 years). I have been alone ever since, but for a few guys passing through. I am really feeling ready for a relationship, but it seems like the universe is against me. I rarely meet anyone, and when I do, it ends quickly. I am still connected to my ex (born 2/25/69, at 9:41 AM) although he is married now. Happily, I do not know, because he still contacts me and admits that he dreams of me. He took me out for dinner a few months ago, and didn't tell his wife. I, of course, would never do anything to harm his union, although I still love him. Do yourself, your ex and his wife a favor. Opt out on this one. Your comparison with your ex wasn't all that great. The fact that you went out to dinner with him is already hurting his marriage. Just think how his wife will feel if she finds out. You should tell your ex to get his life together and not to call you anymore. Chances are good that if he did come back into your life you would probably break up again. As for you, regarding relationships you appear to be a little self-deceptive about what you really want. For the past few months my horoscope keeps telling me "this is the best time for romance", "You are going to find you soul mate" "This is your year".

Lets address your past relationship first. You did match up in a number of ways but emotionally it was taxing to say the least. I believe that this was a karmic connection and that is why it is so hard to let it go. That being said it is probably time to stop reliving something that is already dealt with and finished. You are going through a period in your chart that is making you think about people from your past but that doesn't mean that you should be trying to back track. Although it is a good year for most Gemini's regarding love with transiting Jupiter moving through Libra I have to say that for you it is good for traveling, socializing, doing things that are creative, making new friends from different backgrounds and so forth but when it comes to love with your natal Venus in the sign Cancer you are a little ahead of yourself.
