For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Although I have been out of the dating scene for some time, I'm ready to get back in. As has happened in the past, a much younger man has expressed an interest in me. I am quite attracted to him, but I found myself so wrapped up in uncertainty about his motives (I just couldn't believe he was interested in someone my age)that I overanalyzed the situation and ended up not even being able to be hospitable the one time we got together (at least in hindsight I think I wasn't). We do see each other for professional reasons quite regularly and I've managed, at least in that arena, to keep things light and friendly. Is it possible he is actually interested? I'm afraid of looking like an old fool, but would really like to dump this attitude. I was born July 9, 1950 at 8:30 PM.

Without his birth data of the gentleman involved I can?t tell you how interested in you he is but I do know that you actually can do quite well with partners who are much older or much younger so chances are good that he wasn?t faking it. You will be coming into a high cycle beginning this fall that will remain with you for the better part of a year regarding love, romance and finding Mr. Right. Your chart is looking good with regard to relationships however due to the planet Saturn transiting through the area of your chart that deals with relationships it has caused you to have this push pull attitude the past year and a half. I have been separated and divorced from my Capricorn ex-husband (January 12, 1953, 10:23 a.m.) for seven years. We have two daughters together, one nineteen (September 13, 11.22 a.m. living with him and one (Feb 10, 1985, 10:53 a.m.) living with me. It has been a difficult divorce and caused much pain for all of us. Not my idea. I have been on my own ever since. I have dated occasionally but never got past the first date. I recently gave up the house and moved into a small apartment so my daughter could be nearer her father and sister. She is much happier, has a boyfriend and I rarely see her. Two weeks ago I went to an English Country Dance and was approached by an older gentleman (January 1, 1934, 12:15 a.m.) who has been courting me ever since. He takes me dancing and for dinner. He is an ex drama and English teacher, and an actor. Teaching drama and English is the profession I have just completed training for, and I have a background in acting and film. He loves to travel as do I. He has been separated from his wife of 18 years for one year. My concern is that he is another Capricorn, and I am a Cancer (July 14, 1943, 6:05 p.m.) I have Saturn in Gemini opposition Moon in the seventh house and that means difficulty in relationships. I think I may get myself into trouble again in a relationship with another Capricorn. He is sweet and kind and generous and seems to like me a lot. I have been alone for seven years, putting my daughter and my education first. Is this a father thing? Does it have a chance? Should I just enjoy it for the time being and not expect anything? I am used to a younger man, but nobody that age is interested in a fifty-seven year old woman with a teenaged daughter. I look much younger. Should I accept this graciously, or keep looking. Do you see another major relationship for me, or just casual dating? Is this the one?

Your Capricorn friend only has his natal Sun in that sign. He has a strong Aquarius influence with his Mercury in the youthful playboy sign Sagittarius. Keep in mind as well that most Capricorn's are old when they are young and young when they are old. This is not an ordinary man and you do match up quite well to him. I feel that there is some deception in this relationship, however I believe that it is within you not him. You are coming into a high cycle regarding love and relationships in May and June of next year. Until that time I suggest you let this relationship develop and see how you feel at that time. If you feel that you can't get past the age difference I suggest that you move on, as new possibilities are likely at that time. However, if you realize that you are falling in love with this man it will be the perfect time to take this connection to the next level.

I am currently on a complete roller coaster ride with a guy that I am dating and am not sure which way to go with it, ie, should I keep 'riding' in hopes of a commitment or walk away and not look back. My intentions weren't to get involved with a man 10 years younger than me but I absolutely adore him and care for him. I have friends who are happily married to men who were 'difficult' in the beginning and they are in complete bliss now. Does this person look as though he could be a 'long term' or do our charts state otherwise. Any input would be a HUGE help.

The comparison with your Cancer man was adequate but did show signs of sorrow in an area of your chart that deals with friends, family, work associates and communication. This can result in some deception and dishonesty about true feelings and what else is going on when he isn't with you. There are a lot of uncertainties that are going through your chart right now with regards to continuing this relationship. You are at a place in your life where you want to settle down. He is going through some major turmoil regarding taking that step. He was born with his natal Neptune opposite his natal Venus and that usually means that he can be a bit of a player, especially with his Venus being in the sign Gemini and his Neptune in Sagittarius. Without his time of birth I cannot tell you exactly how this will manifest itself in his chart but in yours I believe that he could eventually cheat. I usually like younger men older women relationships or the other way around, but in this case I do believe that you should not put up with anything that he dishes out and that you should keep your door open for a possible new love connection because your chart indicates that you are in a high cycle where meeting new partners or having someone you cared about from your past coming back into your life. If you are tied up with your Cancer friend you aren't likely to be in a position to move onto someone who will treat you better. Regarding your friends who are happily married to difficult men - you'd have to be a fly on the wall to really know how good or bad their relationships are. The grass always looks greener on the other side. You match up better to those born under the signs Aries, Leo, Libra and Aquarius.
