I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Dear Eugenia,
I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? Can you guide me with this? p.s. will be having an operation in November - any tips? I was born October 13, 1954 at 7:30 am.

November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. I think that you both have a real draw to one another but I'm not sure that it is a healthy relationship and that it may be time to check out your options. Sometimes when your mojo stops working it's because you need to make changes and if you are reluctant to do so you can expect things to stagnate. This month you are in a high cycle regarding career moves etc. so concentrate on that first and make changes to your lifestyle in September/October.

I was born at 12:25 a.m. on 6 May 1972. Around January 2000, Saturn will return to its position in my natal chart, Gemini. My question is this: What significant effects, if any, will the fact that Saturn, Mars, and Venus are all in Gemini (and retrograde, I believe) in my natal chart have on my Saturn return? (or, more generally, what types of influences can I expect during my Saturn return?)

First of all your natal Mars and Venus are not situated close enough to your natal Saturn in order to form a conjunction. Therefore, I would be more concerned with your natal Saturn opposite your natal Neptune when your Saturn returns strikes between May and July of next year and January and March of 2002. With your natal Moon well aspected to both your natal Saturn and Neptune however I feel comfortable saying that it shouldn't be too difficult. Usually your Saturn return results in reevaluating your life. It is a turning point for most people. In your case it will be in an area that deals with such things as making a move from one state to another (which I might add should be favorable) or deciding to further your education for self-purpose or for career advancement. It can also be a time that children will play a role in your life or that you could be taken advantage of financially. It is not a time that you should trust just anyone, especially with your money. You may want to reconsider the way you spend your spare time socializing. If you have been overindulgent it may be the time to cut back or quit altogether. Saturn is a disciplinarian, a teacher, we are to learn from our past mistakes and use this period of renewed awareness to sort through the clutter in our lives and move on in a positive and refreshed manner. You shouldn't fight Saturn influences, but instead learn to accept the situation you are in and find the most suitable way to make the changes necessary to better your life.

I was born on Aug. 13 1980 11:45am and I've been dating Michael (Aug. 1 1977 6:52am) for 8 months. Throughout our whole relationship, we have been lacking trust and even cheated on each other on several occasions. I feel a deep hostility and some competition between us, but I love and care for him so much that I agreed for him to stay at my place for 4 months. I broke up with him a month ago because I couldn't bear the lack of trust/jealousy any longer. I miss him a lot and I believe he does too... we haven't discussed our emotions or feelings for each other since we broke up but he calls me almost everyday to see how I'm doing. We both know we have tension between us but we deny it and try to avoid bringing up any issue that will cause emotional stress. I just want to know if there is any hope for us in the future and whether or not "any" type of relationship will work out between us.

Communication is what makes a relationship work and from what I can see he isn't likely to tell you the truth even if he does talk to you. I believe that this relationship shows signs of sorrow that will continually cause you grief. He has the chart of a playboy who will never face emotional problems honestly and who obviously has plenty of opportunity when it comes to picking up women. Please do yourself a favor and move on, you deserve better. Although you did cheat on him as well I do believe that you can and will be honest and loyal if you are with the right partner. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.
