I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? Can you guide me with this? p.s. will be having an operation in November - any tips? I was born October 13, 1954 at 7:30 am.

November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. I think that you both have a real draw to one another but I'm not sure that it is a healthy relationship and that it may be time to check out your options. Sometimes when your mojo stops working it's because you need to make changes and if you are reluctant to do so you can expect things to stagnate. This month you are in a high cycle regarding career moves etc. so concentrate on that first and make changes to your lifestyle in September/October.

I wrote in a few months back and (thankfully!) I got a reply from you suggesting that I take advantage of my high cycle regarding educational pursuits during from July till next year and I've done just that.
I've been offered a place in a teachers training college and will be doing a BSc (Education) from this July on for 4years. After which I'll have to fulfill another 4years bond teaching. Everything seems too good to be true and I'm all ready to take it but there's this nagging thought that I'm rushing into things. Is this chance of furthering my studies (and later a teaching career) a real break for me or it is just another illusion I've created for myself? I'm actually kind of lost. I've got tons of reasons why I should grab it (circumstances and financial support rendered if I take it up), but also tons of negative thoughts of 'What if's' popping up. My mind is basically a yo-yo between 'grab it' and 'leave it'.
What I'm really into is child psychology and I somehow feel that teaching being rather close to that subject, might be a good experience if ever I want to do a deg. on that area. Does my chart show that it's possible for me to do another deg. in psychology after this? Will I have another high cycle for education, 4yrs later?
Being a firm believer in astrology but having only limited knowledge of this art to do an accurate casting of my own fate, I really hope to hear from you again.

Take the opportunity and run. You have the planet Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with higher education and that is an indication that you will be a student of sorts throughout your life. What ifs are the very things that hold you back. It's time to forge ahead and learn all you can. Both teaching and child psychology are well suited to you and I do believe that you can and will do both. Stop pondering and get on with your life and your future. You will be in a high cycle regarding love and romance beginning in July. If you aren't already in a relationship keep an open mind and an open heart. I went on a first date with a fellow two days ago and I'm finding myself head over heels for him. His birthday is Jan. 22, 1974. He is 27 now, so I think that birth year is correct. I was born May 21, 1979.
My question is, should I continue to see him and try to start a relationship with him or should I get out before I find myself hurt by him. I've been hurt so many times in the past that I just want to protect myself from the heartache again.
Everything I've read so far has said that we are a compatible couple but I'm concerned with the fact that I am on the cusp of Gemini and Taurus and he is on the cusp of Aquarius and Capricorn. I'm ready to find my soul mate and want to know if maybe he could be THE ONE. PLEASE HELP ME. I just need to know if I should protect myself or open myself up for things to happen.

The comparison was pretty good. Have you ever heard the saying that it is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all? You can't spare yourself hurt for that is the very essence that helps us grow and learn what it truly is that we want in a mate. To run away from someone that you would like to get to know better is not progressive, helpful or courageous. I'm not saying that this relationship will go the distance but I do feel that if you can learn from one another it is well worth the time and effort that you both put in. This man is bright, aloof and needs his space. He also shows traces of having a temper. He falls in an area of your chart that lends itself to having some fun together however you mustn't let him manipulate you. You must remain true to yourself and not become a yes person who does whatever he wants. This man needs a strong woman who can stand on her own two feet and contribute to the relationship intelligently and playfully. You could be up for an interesting period if you are ready to take on the challenges that he has to offer.
