I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have written before & I know you are a busy lady, but here goes - I'll try again. I have come to almost a complete stop in my life whereby I don't know what I should do. I have been successful in the past in regards to my career but now I can't get my mojo working again. Also, my partner's birthday is Jan. 18th, 1961 at midnight. I feel love but also feel that other things are going on - is this just a symptom of a change in life or are the charts not compatible? Can you guide me with this? p.s. will be having an operation in November - any tips? I was born October 13, 1954 at 7:30 am.

November looks relatively clear regarding any surgery that you are undergoing however over the course of the next couple of years there does appear to be more involvement with institutions such as hospitals so stay on top of your health. Regarding the relationship, the comparison was more of a love/hate connection. Physically it appears to be quite good and certainly there is chemistry but mentally and emotionally I feel that it is lacking understanding and a common denominator that should be in place. Your partner is going through emotional confusion as well as emotional deception and this could be causing some problems. With regard to your chart relationship uncertainty has been present for some time now making it difficult for you to see where it's headed. I think that you both have a real draw to one another but I'm not sure that it is a healthy relationship and that it may be time to check out your options. Sometimes when your mojo stops working it's because you need to make changes and if you are reluctant to do so you can expect things to stagnate. This month you are in a high cycle regarding career moves etc. so concentrate on that first and make changes to your lifestyle in September/October.

I expect you won't be able to answer this letter, but the worst that can happen is silence. I was born September 20, 1973 @ 5:15 p.m. Three years ago, I lost my grandmother and then a year later, I lost my Mom. I started University, two months after my Mother passed away and I am afraid that my scholastic career has thus far been less than spectacular. Although, the long depression that I suffered through has dissipated somewhat I now realize that I may have dug a hole for myself so bad I will never be able to save myself from it. I am still somewhat confused about how I should proceed. Should I try to finish school now, while I am here or wander in the real world for a couple of years so I won't waste any more time?
I haven't had a serious relationship in quite some time. The thought of putting myself forward has been rather frightening. Is it a bad idea to even think about finding Mr. Right now?
I really don't know which is worse the depression or the confusion. Either way I feel so buried, I don't know which way is up or down.

You are coming into a much higher cycle and it is important that you prepare to continue your education in some capacity. That could mean doing an apprenticeship, or going back full time. Where love and romance are concerned your chart picks up during the second half of next year and if you are involved in social groups or organizations you should meet someone you are attracted to. You should also be considering investing whatever money you have during the first half of next year. It will also be a favorable time to make residential changes or moves as well. Things are picking up for you and for now you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. You've been through a lot over the past three years and you need time to heal. I have this wonderful friend in my life that I share so much with. We travel together, make art, shop, talk for hours, go on midnight adventures, love the same food, find each other hilarious, hug every time we say goodbye, and can't spend two days apart. I haven't had a man in my life, long term, for over three years. This guy seems to have found his way into my life, and my heart, but is it more than friendship? What are the possibilities for us? My birthday is Feb 12/76 (4:15pm), his is June 27/75 (4:15am). I was told that my moon is Cancer (his sun), and his moon is Aquarius (my sun). Is that right? What does that mean for us? We both seem to be in a state of flux right now. Will we still be close over the next year? Thank you for all your insights.

The comparison does show a definite admiration between the two of you. I am a big believer that you have to be friends before you become lovers. That doesn't mean that you won't have chemistry. The stronger the chemistry is the more important it is to go slow and build the friendship first. In your particular case you do have your Moon in Cancer and he does have his Moon in Aquarius and this is a start. The problem I feel that you are facing is that even though he was born under the warm Cancer sign he has a few elements in his chart that tell me he is not going to want to settle down at a young age. If for some reason he does I fear it won't be lasting. He is not always honest with himself or with his partners and this can lead to problems. You are best to remain friends for now. He is going through changes this summer as well as throughout next year and it would be sad if you jumped into a hot intimate relationship only to lose the friendship that you both enjoy. He is going to have to be the one to make the move and if he should do so especially over the course of the next year I think that it will end in disappointment. As for you, you are in a high cycle where love is concerned until the end of January. Therefore, don't miss out on opportunities with other potential partners because you only have eyes for your friend. Get out and meet like-minded people.
