For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

Your sign always does much better with partners who are a lot older or a lot younger; they just don't do well with people their own age. Being a relatively strong Goat with that sign also in an area of your chart that deals with relationships I feel that this particular Capricorn trait does apply to you. All that said in the case of your Aquarius partner I'm not certain that he is the one. I feel that you may not being totally honest with yourself as to why you are with him. Are you in love or just in need. The sign Aquarius falls in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects. I believe that you are moving into a high cycle regarding love and that you should leave your doors open to other opportunities. I went on a first date with a fellow two days ago and I'm finding myself head over heels for him. His birthday is Jan. 22, 1974. He is 27 now, so I think that birth year is correct. I was born May 21, 1979.
My question is, should I continue to see him and try to start a relationship with him or should I get out before I find myself hurt by him. I've been hurt so many times in the past that I just want to protect myself from the heartache again.
Everything I've read so far has said that we are a compatible couple but I'm concerned with the fact that I am on the cusp of Gemini and Taurus and he is on the cusp of Aquarius and Capricorn. The comparison was pretty good. Have you ever heard the saying that it is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all? You can't spare yourself hurt for that is the very essence that helps us grow and learn what it truly is that we want in a mate. To run away from someone that you would like to get to know better is not progressive, helpful or courageous. I'm not saying that this relationship will go the distance but I do feel that if you can learn from one another it is well worth the time and effort that you both put in. This man is bright, aloof and needs his space. He also shows traces of having a temper. He falls in an area of your chart that lends itself to having some fun together however you mustn't let him manipulate you. You must remain true to yourself and not become a yes person who does whatever he wants. This man needs a strong woman who can stand on her own two feet and contribute to the relationship intelligently and playfully. You could be up for an interesting period if you are ready to take on the challenges that he has to offer.

For the past 3 years, I have been under almost unbearable stress. During this time, my husband committed suicide and left me with astronomical debts; 6 mos. later my mother who has dementia came to live with me; I have dealt with serious problems with my children and am trying to make a go of my husband's business that was near bankrupt at the time of his death. I am almost to the BREAKING POINT! Will there be any relief from these pressures? Can I look forward to a brighter future? I was born April 23, 1947, at 5:20 PM.

You do have plenty on your plate but you also show great strength, wisdom and courage and I know you will make it through. I do believe that the absolute worst is over but there is still plenty of hard work to do. The area of your chart that deals with work and money is coming into a higher cycle over the next two years and you should be able to make headway in that regard. Also opportunities to learn, travel and to sign legal contracts will be present somewhat over the next few months however if these do not go manifest in full it will come to pass next year. Your children will continue to challenge you somewhat but they are unique and need to follow their own paths. As for your mother you will have to consider alternatives regarding institutions. There is only so much that you can do and at this point you must put yourself and your children first. You did not submit your mother or your children's birth data so I can not give you more information regarding them. I do feel however that if you are willing to work hard this year you will see results throughout 2001.
