I am 41 years old and I am dating an older man who is 17 years older than myself, he is an Aquarian and I am a Capricorn. He was born on Feb.7, 1945 and I December 25, 1961 at 6:00 PM. Your sign always does much better with partners who are a lot older or a lot younger; they just don't do well with people their own age. Being a relatively strong Goat with that sign also in an area of your chart that deals with relationships I feel that this particular Capricorn trait does apply to you. All that said in the case of your Aquarius partner I'm not certain that he is the one. I feel that you may not being totally honest with yourself as to why you are with him. Are you in love or just in need. The sign Aquarius falls in an area of your chart that deals with dead end projects. I believe that you are moving into a high cycle regarding love and that you should leave your doors open to other opportunities. I suggest that you check in the personal ads of your local business and financial newspaper where you are more likely to find established gentlemen that will suit you. Article: The Love Thermometer

Hi Eugenia,

When I check out romance compatibility with my ex-husband it reads 91%. When I check out other possibilities, it reads only 52%. As I said the 91% was my (thankfully) Ex-husband. I am wondering why or how such decisions are arrived at. My birth info as above is Aug 10,1949 actually at the dot of Midnight, which I guess is 11:00 p.m. for your timing purposes. My Ex's birth info is Mar. 24, 1941. I don't know exact time but his mother had thought it might have been early a.m. I suspect he's got Aries rising. The comparison with your Aries EX was high because it was relatively well matched up mentally, physically and emotionally. Unfortunately you both went through difficult transits at the same time and that probably made you move on. Your charts indicate that you are both moving toward a huge period of mental growth over the course of the next four years and that this will be good for both of you. Although you may both experience some let downs during the process the end result will be quite good. Regarding the other two gents in your life, the Aquarius just didn't have enough planets in his natal chart that aspected your natal chart plus his natal Neptune adversely aspected your natal Mercury and this usually is an indication of deception, denial etc. It was a connection that suddenly began and ended just as suddenly. Your Cancers natal chart lacked planetary connections to your chart. He actually would have made a better brother. You know one that you don't see that often. Compatibility is the result of natal planets in both people's charts being at favorable angles to one another.

Article: A Tendency to Over Do Things

Dear Eugenia,

I was wondering if you could shed light on a few factors that are taking place in my life right now. One, what effect will Saturn's move into Gemini have on my upcoming future?

Two, I've recently returned to the States where I'm continuing to teach as a language professor, but I'm not so sure this is the place I should put my roots down, can you tell me anything about this?

Three, He's born, 30 November 1956, 7:30 PM, Long Branch, NJ, and technically we just broke up on Sunday. Can this relation have a follow up, if yes should I pursue it or just step back and let things unfold, if no what can I do to prepare for a more fulfilling encounter in the future?

Saturn will be situated in an area of your chart that will be terrific for socializing and relationships but it will not be so good regarding chronic health and investments. You will have a tendency to over do it in both aspects and therefore you should start to cut back now. With Jupiter also moving through Gemini this will be where the excess begins and once that takes place the limitations that Saturn can bring won't be far behind. If you made your move in May or June of this year, you probably did the right thing however if it was before that time you may make another move between November and February. Your relationship with your Sagittarius does not appear to be all that great for you. I would let it go and move on especially while you have such good transits regarding socializing and meeting potential partners. You match up well to those born under the signs Aries, Libra and Pisces.
