Your sign always does much better with partners who are a lot older or a lot younger; they just don't do well with people their own age. Being a relatively strong Goat with that sign also in an area of your chart that deals with relationships I feel that this particular Capricorn trait does apply to you. All that said in the case of your Aquarius partner I'm not certain that he is the one. I feel that you may not being totally honest with yourself as to why you are with him. May I borrow a cup of Insight? I am a young man, but not getting any younger from what I've seen... I had hopes that you might answer a question or two for me...
Contrary to popular belief, I'm somewhat introverted, and having difficulty finding the all-mysterious "soul mate" that I've heard that everyone has. Any possible chance that some of Us don't necessarily have one? Or, am I approaching this the wrong way?
Equally as important, I'm working towards becoming an artist, that is saying, a paid artist...Any possible chance that this is the correct career path for me? I greatly enjoy creating the pieces of work that I do, just not one hundred percent for certain that it's going to be profitable for me to try to continue on a professional basis.
So, what do you think? Do I need help or what? I was born May 16, 1976 at 12:24 am.

You have your Saturn return coming your way and there is no doubt that the questioning has already begun. Your first Saturn return is what we refer to in astrology as the maturing time in your life. You will reevaluate and consider your options as well as make decisions whether to stay put because you think you are too old already to make changes or you will stand up take the initiative and turn your life upside down in search of your goals. For you I believe the main area of change will be professionally. I consider the arts as my salvation as well and cannot imagine working in any other field but for many years I had to work a job that wasn't satisfying in order to support my addiction to my art. I do believe that you belong in the arts and that you are talented and will eventually make your way and be successful. However, if you must take on other projects in order to make money do so but try to keep them in the same venue. In other words if you are a painter try to work at a gallery, a musician - try to work at a recording company and so forth. That way you can and will turn your dream into a reality. You are in a high cycle regarding work for the next five years and yes you should be taking the road less traveled or the unusual route. As for love and having a soul mate I am of the belief that we each have at least 11 almost perfect matches on the planet but they are not always that easy to find. I have dated. I have been engaged a few times but never married (I think I always took marriage too seriously -- and never could promise to do all that marriage entails). I had a loving relationship with a man who had a terminal illness, who died in '95. I have always kept the door open in my heart that I might find a life-long partner, but now I wonder: should I shut the door on this option? I'm not afraid of being alone. You should never close the door on love, romance, marriage, partnership etc. One of the reasons why you have gone the route but never crossed the line when it came to marriage is due to having your natal Uranus in an area of your chart that deals with relationships opposite your Sun in an area of your chart that deals with your personal outlook. This has probably caused you or your partners throughout life to back away or have a change of heart at the last minute. With transiting Saturn moving into that area of your chart there has never been a better time to find love and get serious then now. Also with your Moon in the sign Virgo it isn't unusual for you to find love or get into a serious relationship during the second half of life. In your case you are moving into a high cycle regarding love right now and you should be out meeting new people. This particular transit can also bring someone from your past back into your life so perhaps if there is someone you still think about you should readdress this relationship. In the past the timing was probably wrong with this person. This is a great year for you creatively, educationally and where growth is concerned. You should be expanding your circle of friends, getting involved in discussions or courses that will alter your philosophy, attitude, lifestyle and outlook.
