We've all experienced times of conflict and personal struggle.  Times when the assistance and advice of a friend always seemed to lend comfort and ease the burden. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if that friend was one of the world's most revered astrologers, with over 25 years of experience?

Article: Staying Open

Dear Eugenia.

I'm seventeen and I should be deciding what I want to study. I was four years old when I decided that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, and I still want to be one, but lately I have started to think that I want something else. Maybe I would be better in another job. I don't know anymore, if I want to be a teacher. I mean I can be pretty stubborn. And stayed in my ways. Perhaps I am just trying to complete what I think I should be doing. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to think later on, that I made a wrong decision. Please help me... I was born on November 6, 1983, at 2:44 PM.

Which way to go

Dear Which way to go

Education, communication, travel, teaching, publishing, journalism are all areas that you would do well in. I do however understand why you automatically thought that you would like to teach from a very young age. Your chart denotes that you have several planets in an area that deals with teaching children. It shows dedication, caring, openness, understanding and an ability to fight for what the young people today need so desperately. You have plenty to offer and you can make a difference to the educational system, which you have to admit, does need improvement. You should aim to follow your first choice however you have a lot of life ahead of you so don't rule out a few of your other choices as well. If you can teach in a foreign country for a period of time or travel with your students or work toward making amendments to the system you will get the satisfaction you desire by following your future goals.

Article: Missed Opportunities

Dear Ms. Last:

Although I have a million questions, this one is purely selfish but I have been searching for guidance and maybe a few answers for so long. I am 41 yrs. old. An Aries born March 24, 1959, at 3:30 AM. Thankfully happily married with a husband (Virgo) who loves me and two (arggh) pre-teen daughters. I am very independent in some ways which is great since I married a trucker who is gone most of the time. I have always wanted desperately to travel, meet people, to understand differences and learn from them. And yet I did not go into anything that would take me anywhere. My quest for adventure is aggravating and frustrating. I've often had the feeling that I am supposed to be doing SOMETHING and yet either ignore the signs or am deaf to them. I had two Aunts that were Rosacrucians who one Christmas told me about their lives and said that although I wouldn't understand then, I would use their information in the future. ( I contacted the Rosacrucians and they asked for $$$) I look at those who have obvious gifts and sometimes wonder IF I have missed the boat. There is something very important in my life that is missing and I need just a nudge if you could oblige. Spirituality has always been very important in my life. I find myself questioning old beliefs and some days I'm so sure of the answers and other days totally at odds with them. This I realize can be attributed to getting older etc but the same questions remain now as they did when I was young. Why this ongoing need to travel around the world I would give my eye teeth to give my children an international education)and my need for adventure so intense yet seemingly so unattainable. Have I been given any gifts in life that should enable me to find my path? This is not just an age thing but something that has plagued me most of my lifetime. I just feel like I am running around in circles. I do know that if I could find some answers as to why I was put onto this earth then maybe I would be much more content. Other than this aspect of my life...I have been given many other gifts of which I am thankful. Just one more thing that is going to sound sooooo stupid but over the years I have come to some tenuous conclusions in my life and in a nutshell this would be it. I was a black Jew who traveled extensively, Married not for love but for ?????, was very educated and learned and treated those without it unkindly and have always felt that If I ever got to the "British Isles" that I would be finally going home. It would take far too long to explain my reasons and I am babbling now. Thank you for any insight you may have to give me. I have asked others before and been shattered to find a price tag on spiritual matters can be very costly. Have a wonderful day in the life.

Searching for more

Dear Searching for more

You have a well-rounded chart. Full of spirit and depth. Your desire to travel and expand your knowledge, mind and soul is obvious and with the transits you have ascending on you I'm not surprised that you are hankering to get moving. There are a couple of ways to handle your problem depending on your financial position, (no I'm not asking for money, this is a FREE site). You can talk your husband and children into selling what you own, taking the girls out of school and embarking on that worldly education that you would love to experience with your family. You can make a move from one place to another and experience what it is like to be in a different location. (by the way your chart is hot for buying and selling real estate this year) You can get involved in cultural groups in your community that will help open your eyes to the traditions and beliefs of those from different backgrounds. You can put your children in boarding school and do your own whirlwind tour. You can take your family and move to the British Isles and see how you like it. The list goes on and on, however

Article: Nothing to Lose and Everything to Gain

Dear Eugenia,

Sometime during the first half of February 1995 I met this man. His birth date is 4.4.1967. He was my supervisor; I was a phone sales associate. When I first saw him I disliked the way he looked and assumed I wouldn't care whatever his personality was, either. It turned out that he was a wonderful mentor, a really good boss and just naturally inclined at helping people out. I did very well on that job due to his excellent guidance, and I'm sure a lot of the people there, even though they didn't say anything to my face, thought that he was playing favorites. I didn't mind because I wanted to achieve much and get along with everybody at the same time, so my stance was basically a neutral one, which they had loved to call "being professional".

My confusion started when he began acting as if we were really close. In that place where men out number women in selling and dealing with auto parts, I didn't have difficulty eventually becoming one of the guys where handshakes, arm linking hugs, back pats (or slaps) and even shoulder holding were just normal, friendly ways of interacting so it wasn't an issue of unwanted advances or sexual harassment. What bothered me was that we couldn't seem to talk about ourselves except when it had to do with work. He was starting to grow on me, and during those times when he seemed to be making passes at me, I was delighted with it but didn't want to take him up on it, until he leveled with me on what his intentions were. I just couldn't allow it to sweep me off my feet because it didn't feel honest, and one thing I've always wanted more than anything else was to be in an equal relationship. We went on like this until he left the company to pursue other opportunities. Even though nothing officially intimate happened between us, I still felt really sad, as though a lover had left. I was depressed for a while, all the time thinking I was crazy and totally out of my head, that I didn't initiate things. What did it matter if you love a person yet you're both engaging in some sort of power play where it seemed like the affection was with held by omission?

The definite upside on the whole thing was that it prompted me to look for answers instead of letting it eat at me by becoming bitter. A lot of interesting things came up during my self-studies, but somehow I couldn't accept that it would've worked out nicely if only one of us had been up front to the other. Clearly he could've seen that I was focused on my work yet everybody had found me easy to talk to, to relate to, to connect to. It just didn't make any sense, partly because there were a lot of things that I didn't know about him, even though his actions spoke louder than words. It was strange too, that judging from what pathetic little I knew about him, I could feel that he was very familiar to me I couldn't help but think that past lives might be a valid concept. The chemistry and "magic" were all certainly there, but then again, I didn't want to think that his actions were spurred by those factors alone.

I know solidly now at this point that I'd throw caution to the winds and tell him what I feel about him if I was lucky enough to be given another chance at seeing him again. But since I'm not sure about it happening, I'm faced again with the task of finding an answer as to how to make my peace with the whole thing. Through sheer will I tried hard not to let it affect me so much as to disrupt the normal goings on in my life, and I'm proud to say I succeeded in doing so. I've talked to some people about it, but somehow I get the feeling that they don't really understand, and I don't blame them.

Astrology was one subject that really helped me make sense of it on my own. However, I've never gotten any insights from astrologers, except from interpretations I read in books. I was born March 24, 1973, at 4:04 PM. I hope my letter will be interesting enough to merit your attention and consideration. T
