Dear Eugenia.

I'm seventeen and I should be deciding what I want to study. I was four years old when I decided that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, and I still want to be one, but lately I have started to think that I want something else. Maybe I would be better in another job. I don't know anymore, if I want to be a teacher. I mean I can be pretty stubborn. And stayed in my ways. Perhaps I am just trying to complete what I think I should be doing. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to think later on, that I made a wrong decision. Please help me... Education, communication, travel, teaching, publishing, journalism are all areas that you would do well in. I do however understand why you automatically thought that you would like to teach from a very young age. Your chart denotes that you have several planets in an area that deals with teaching children. It shows dedication, caring, openness, understanding and an ability to fight for what the young people today need so desperately. You have plenty to offer and you can make a difference to the educational system, which you have to admit, does need improvement. You should aim to follow your first choice however you have a lot of life ahead of you so don't rule out a few of your other choices as well. If you can teach in a foreign country for a period of time or travel with your students or work toward making amendments to the system you will get the satisfaction you desire by following your future goals.

Article: Questionable Motives

Hi. Eugenia!

I still don't know why I'm writing a letter again. It's embarrassing to tell people that I haven't really had any romantic relationship with anyone. I have never said, "I love you" to anyone so far. I missed many opportunities in the past. However, I am interested in an American guy right now. He was born on Oct 25, 1965. He is running his business and I'm running mine. I'm afraid that I might not have a chance to tell him my true feelings. Maybe we both have sort of a fantasy about one another. I will be visiting him this July. I really want to fall in love with him. I'm too tired of being single. What will our future be?

I understand your dilemma but I do feel that your motives are questionable. The comparison is workable. I believe however that you are considering him because there is no one else in sight. Please back up a moment and think about what it is that you want in a partner. I can see that you have a physical attraction to one another and that he can offer you all sorts of opportunities. His Sun sign does fall in an area of your chart that deals with relationships and partnerships so it is possible. You are in a high romantic cycle this summer when you are visiting him but I want you to take it slowly and really give yourself as well as him a chance to get to know one another better. During this cycle you will also be open to other romantic connections. Don't rule out the possibility of meeting someone on your own turf with the same cultural background. Article: Move Ahead??

Dear Eugenia,

I really feel the need to move ahead and get on with my life, but the problem is that I think my life (this means job) is 4000 miles away, and it is taking place without me. I want to move, now. But people are all like, "Nuh-uh, you can't go. Bad things will happen, you might even die. You have to wait, etc." But what do they know? Nothing, right? Every day I wait, it seems like one day closer to being "too late," and I don't even know what it's too late for. Just too late. So please, if you could, just tell me that I'm smart and everyone else is dumb (and I won't die) and then I'll be on my way. I was born 6/22/78 at 7:15am. Also my job life will be in TV, if that helps.

Although you do have to follow your dreams your chart indicates that you are over-reacting and possibly trying to take on too much all at once. Hopefully you are already in a secure position in the TV industry in your own country and that you can make some contacts before you decide to make a leap of faith. Although your chart does suggest opportunities it also is moving into a difficult period where immigration, long distance business travel and trouble with authority figures are concerned over the course until June of next year so although I would not tell you to postpone this venture I would recommend that you make sure that you don't leave anything to chance. Make your plans strategically and have your finances in order. The first few years may be difficult but the hard work should pay off.
