I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have visited your website over the past year and am impressed with both the sensitivity and practicality of your responses. I have something of a dilemma--I know what I want to do but would appreciate your viewpoint on the matter. I am divorced with no children (date of birth 7/30/47, 12:10 a.m.). I want a family very much and have been to a doctor, a specialist, undergone many tests, and have been told that with the doctor's help, if I wish, I can have a baby. I look young for my age, probably 15 or more years younger. I am healthy and want to do this. Some friends have been very encouraging, still others have said that it's a crazy idea at my age. A couple have even said that no man will be interested in me if I have a baby. I tend to think that I wouldn't be interested in a man with such an attitude. I am veryindependent. What do you think? If I do this, it would be in June.

You have picked an ideal time to try to have a baby and with the strength of character and determination that your chart indicates you should have know problem raising a child. You do have a strong desire to become a mother and I feel that part of this is the whole experience of being pregnant and so forth. I was born January 9th, 1968 at 10:00 P.M. It seems that too often when I read up on Capricorn, there is some type of foreboding or conflict pending, especially of late. Is there some sort of alignment somewhere creating this, and if so when will it change for the better. I have taken on a new business venture that is growing, but there seems to have been a great deal of obstacles slowing things down along the way. I was going insane emotionally and mentally, and so was my partner, who couldn't understand (as a witness), why there were so many delays with so much input on my part. My relationship suffered because of it. Do you know what's going on out there?

Well yes indeed there have been a couple of transiting planets (Saturn and Jupiter) playing havoc with your sign and to top it off other parts of your chart have also been afflicted by Uranus and Neptune as well. One of the most important transits that moved into your chart last fall and will remain with you until late this fall can cause you to expand too fast, take on too much etc so it is important that you don't move or grow too quickly. Transiting Saturn has been moving through the sign Cancer your polar opposite and this can cause limitations, frustrations, setback and obstacles which is exactly what you have been experiencing. This transit will be moving off your chart mid summer bringing you some relief. In the late fall when Jupiter moves into the sign Scorpio for approximately one year you will find that the tables will begin to turn in your favor in many different areas of your life from business to personal. Capricorns are very self-sufficient so they tend to move along even through the difficult times fixing things along the way. You didn't include your partners birth data however I'm sure he or she will be glad to hear that you do have better times heading your way. The area of your chart that deals with partnerships has been experiencing grief as well however this should begin to clear up the second half of this year and throughout next so you should be able to make amends.

I don?t have a "problem", I have a question.? If a person is born on the cusp, like the day before signs change, do they have characteristics of both signs??The person I'm wondering about was born on April 20, 1970, at 9:30 am. Some astrologers consider that Taurus others consider it Aries.? Would this person have both sign's characteristics? I was born June 7, 1972, at 10:22 pm. Do we match up?

Your friend was born under the sign Taurus and has Mercury, Venus and Saturn in that sign as well. In 1970 on that day absolutely no planets or luminaries fell in the sign Aries therefore your friend is truly a Taurus. What you may be confusing with the Taurus traits is the Gemini ascendant with Mars in that sign giving this Taurus a little of the fun-loving spirited approach to life that you often see in Aries. Your Gemini Sun sign has a natural draw to your friend?s ascendant. On checking out your comparison it was pretty good emotionally, mentally and physically. The one thing you would want to avoid is any kind of secret connection to this person.
