I have decided to put more time and energy into my research. It’s been a pleasure to answer your emails and to help you through some of life’s tough journeys. Everyone who has participated in my Dear Eugenia column has enriched my life and I hope I have improved yours as well.
For those of you who wish to contribute birth data to my research, please enter your information to my medical astrology research listed on my home page. This research is explicitly dealing with cancer and mental health – addiction illness. The focus is on early diagnosis and preventative medicine.
I want to stress how important it is to submit complete and accurate birth data – the time and place of birth.

I have visited your website over the past year and am impressed with both the sensitivity and practicality of your responses. I have something of a dilemma--I know what I want to do but would appreciate your viewpoint on the matter. I am divorced with no children (date of birth 7/30/47, 12:10 a.m.). I want a family very much and have been to a doctor, a specialist, undergone many tests, and have been told that with the doctor's help, if I wish, I can have a baby. I look young for my age, probably 15 or more years younger. I am healthy and want to do this. Some friends have been very encouraging, still others have said that it's a crazy idea at my age. A couple have even said that no man will be interested in me if I have a baby. I tend to think that I wouldn't be interested in a man with such an attitude. I am veryindependent. What do you think? If I do this, it would be in June.

You have picked an ideal time to try to have a baby and with the strength of character and determination that your chart indicates you should have know problem raising a child. You do have a strong desire to become a mother and I feel that part of this is the whole experience of being pregnant and so forth. I was born June 10, 1980 at 11 pm. I recently meet a guy (Birth date: 11/07/1983) and we started dating. I think he is a sweetheart but self-conscious because I make more money than he does and I am self-conscious because he is younger then me (Birth date: 06/10/1980). We get along great but the problem is that I have secretly started seeing an old flame (Birth date: 11/21/1980). My old flame is someone I have had a crush on for years even after we broke up. The problem is that my old flame has a girlfriend as well whom he is having problems with. I am confused now on what to do. I like the new guy but I think I am curious to see if there is still something with my old flame. I am confused on whether I should stay with the new guy or dump him for my old flame and see if there is more to it then just friends. Please help.

This is a bit of a no win situation. Both comparisons are very different however they both show signs of sorrow as well. You have a tremendous number of planetary connections between your chart and that of your younger Scorpio friend but I believe that being the Gemini that you are you will not be able to leave well enough alone causing an insatiable urge to find out if you still have something going on with your ex Scorpio. This in turn will cause sorrow with your young Scorpio - he will not take lightly to you engaging in any relationship be it platonic or not with your ex. Please don't lose sight of what was wrong with your relationship with your ex Scorpio the first time around and why you aren't still together. The same problems will crop up time and time again. Your young Scorpio has his natal Venus in the sign Virgo so age shouldn't be a problem considering he probably acts quite mature when it comes to love. You have your natal Venus in Gemini and that often causes you to be fickle and flirtatious when it comes to romance. Your ex has his natal Venus in the sign Libra and although he can be very charming etc. he can also be as fickle and flirtatious as you. All this being said I do believe that you should probably set your young Scorpio free before you really hurt him. Give yourself time to rediscover your old partner and prepare to move on to new potential partners around the end of the summer or early fall of this year. I think I lost my sense of humor and I can't seem to get it back. In the past, I was able to laugh, to joke and most of the time, make fun of friends in a humorous ways and have everybody laughing. But nowadays, I can hardly laugh myself. And it seems that I am too serious in my everyday conversation. A conversation of a humorous nature, my comments or answers can totally spoil the mood. If I try to make a funny remark, it seems very unnatural and tends to come out forced. Is this part of growing up or has my astrological nature got something to do with it. Or has it anything to do with my social life. For the past few years, my social life has gradually settled down to just 2 groups of friends, each about 10 members, and our gatherings over the years have gradually reduced to once a month or twice a month. Does it mean that my spending most of my time alone has killed the humorous side of me? Please help. I am born on the 29th of December 1976, time about 5 past 12 midnight (not too sure).

You're being too hard on yourself. Yes you are growing up but that doesn't mean that you will lose your humor. Humor is usually determined by the placement of a person's natal Mercury. In your case you have your natal Mercury in the sign Capricorn well aspected to your natal Jupiter in Taurus. As you get older you will find different things in life humorous. Such as jokes that pertain to business, colleagues, big investment deals, money matters etc. You also have Libra rising and this will also give you a more sophisticated manner of joking as you mature. There is nothing wrong with that. You are not a silly little kid anymore but that doesn't mean that you can't use your intelligence and knowledge to crack a joke. You are still in a high cycle regarding higher education, travel and making new friends who have the same interests and beliefs that you have so start getting out and getting involved. You are also in a high cycle regarding love, romance and socializing so stop being so concerned about being funny and start thinking about getting romantically serious. There are many positive things for you to look forward to however if you are negative and down on yourself because you aren't the same as you were in your youth you will miss all the wonderful opportunities that can and will lead to the next phase of your life.
